Their strangle hold on talent is over. They will still win titles, but they will not be the favorite every year.
Lane kiffin is a classless joke. After their bowl game, he talked about how his quarterback shouldn’t have thrown a touchdown when the game was long over, but he should have put the backup in before then. Then he talks shit on Duke’s defense being the best in the ACC and not stacking up with the SEC. No class even when winning.
You notice he didn't tweet a thing after the games this weekend, did he? 😂 Not to mention, he wants out of that Ole Miss job so bad.
Once upon a time this century, everyone in the nation agreed that the undefeated SEC champ was decidedly a step down from USC and OU.
Thanks Big B. Agree with your Big XII take. I appreciate you.
You bet
5:15 The SEC was paying people and trying to report non-SEC conferences. The fact that you're trying to say that your audience is immature is condescending. The SEC narrative lasted until now because ESPN and others looked the other way.
If UGA’s QB was hurt, why were they in the CFP at all? Isn’t that the precedent?
When FSU was excluded, there weren't automatic qualifiers for winning your conference championship. That begun this year. Georgia won so they automatically secured one of the spots.
Yes, and ESPN needs to start changing their tune. Sec is no longer the best conference in football. Big B I am bowing out of this convo.
Do you understand what drives revenue in the media? VIEWERSHIP. The SEC and Big 10 draw, by far, draw the biggest viewership. You know how I know that? The top 10 most watched games of 2024 involved all SEC and BIG 10 teams and then one game featured Notre Dame, that was the 1st round the CFP. NOT ONE of the top 10 most watched games involved ACC or Big 12 teams. Hate to burst your bubble but ESPN is not gonna change when it's been proven that the SEC drives viewership.
All of the things that “ruining college football” actually help Big 12 schools. NIL, Portal, experienced players getting more years, all of it helps the Big 12 compete.
You forgot jamarcus Russell, and Vince Young . 😂😂😂😂
According to SEC logic Texas is still Big 12 and many SEC fans don't claim them or Oklahoma. So the final 4 Belongs to the Big 10, Independent, and the Big 12 lol According to SEC logic lol. SEC is not apart of the final 4😂😂😂.
Very true
The Big 12 couldn't wait for Texas to leave and now y'all wanna claim them??? LMAO get outta here with that. When you actually get your opinions from people face to face living in SEC country, like I do, 90% of SEC fans are perfectly fine with Texas. The other 10% are either A&M or Oklahoma fans or people who have always disliked Texas. What you said is internet logic not SEC logic.
I'm come to despise SEC, Alabama, Texas fans, media, etc. Been a hardcore College/Pro Football/Basketball for 35 years & never had animosity for my favorite teams natural rivals like I do for Texas SEC fans.
I despise the SEC and B1G and their back stabbing alliances to the point I actually want ND to win. Which is such a ridiculous notion I am just waiting for the NFL playoffs
Both of y'all really have nothing better to do than be angry at teams or whole conferences??? Here's my advise, click off youtube and turn off your TV and go get some fresh air.
@DK-hg7wj Yet here you are watching this video and commenting on my comments. 🤔
@@Teller580 Yes cause i'm not like a majority of the country that only watches things they agree with. It's called being informed of ALL sides. Maybe you should try it.
@DK-hg7wj I think you need some fresh air 😂
One of the truthful sports quotes ever, “9 out of 10 schools are cheating and the other one is in last place.” Jerry Tarkanian
Tim Tebow played 2006- 2009 & Cam Newton played 2007-2008. So more than 15 years ago. I do think the LSU teams with Jefferson, Burrow & Chase were great but some Alabama and Georgia teams.may have been overrated. Oregon just got destroyed and until this years playoff format Oregon would have automatically been considered and amazing almost unbelievable team. How'd that work out? Who's to say Alabama or Georgia didn't have some overrated teams. Didn't we just hear that Texas would destroy ASU?
I agree Indiana wasn’t that great, but in their defense they lost by fewer points to Notre Dame than Georgia did…
Something to think about
Those TDs IU scores were window dressing. They got mud stomped. We all saw it
SEC is still the best? Let’s be honest: Nick Saban was the best! The other SEC teams have been mediocre for years!
Where did Georgia’s coach come from? Nick Saban’s coaching tree. See only one good coach in the past few years. Georgia had its moment in the spotlight. That appears to be over.
Nick Saban is the G.O.A.T. !!!!
For many years the SEC hid behind 2 teams chanting SEC. That's why people from other conferences don't like them.
SEC won four titles in a row by different schools each year barely 15 years ago. Saban alone doesn't account for that dominance.
@@tedhumphrey9983 In the last 20 years LSU has three national titles won by 3 different coaches, the 2019 team being one of the best college football teams of all time. How are you not including them? Florida had two titles in a three year span less than 20 years ago. How are you not including them?
@jbrock8596 there were 2 good teams a year for a long time. Don't matter which ones they weren't all good at once. 2 were always dominant and the whole conference hid behind them. 2 different teams al most every year. The rest of the conference was ok.
@@tedhumphrey9983 so your beef with the SEC is that you think they never at any one time had more than two great teams, even though those two teams were not always the same two teams over the last twenty years and you don't like that the 9 other teams that didn't win national championships in that span also chant SEC SEC SEC?
asu def deserved to be there i have listened to you for a bit and agree with everything but that statement has be saying TO YOU "im bowing out because you dont know shit about asu"
Wait a minute. You say the SEC is the best. I certainly think media bias has helped us think they're the best. Watch out for Vanderbilt, Missouri ,Mississippi St, Kentucky, Auburn this Year, Arkansas, etc. How about current Oklahoma, Florida, etc?
OU is in over their heads in the SEC obviously, but early showdowns between OSU-Ark and UCF-Florida highlighted to me the difference in the conferences. Granted Okie State "won" the game vs Arkansas, but they were thoroughly dominated in almost every aspect and there was not really any doubt in my mind which team was better even in a loss. Then UCF and their talked-up running game went into Gainesville and got embarrassed. That was actual game results, not media bias, that gave indications which league was better head to head.
@jbrock8596 So you continue to stand on a OSU vs Arkansas game and make one of the most ridiculous arguments I've heard in my 49 years. They lost the game in the only stat that matters. Points. 😂. So no Arkansas isn't a better team. Or are you telling me actual games don't matter. Not to mention, OSU couldn't win a game in the Big 12. Arkansas beat Tennessee. So they couldn't beat a bottom feeder in the Big 12 but beat a CFP qualifier from the SEC, yet that tells you which conference is better? You do the same thing with another bottom feeder in UCF vs Florida. That assessment is wild at best.
