cannibalown1 in fact two things are possible : regulate fuel flow with an adjustement button and choke the air flow with the hand... thats a sort of regulation of fuel flow that allow to have engine brake and preserve the engine at the same time :)
This is done to starve the engine of air and flood it with fuel which has two reasons, 1. Flood with cold fuel so you can run your engine leaner and get better performance 2. To give you more power to get out of low speed corners
Engine goes brrr, chain moves, wheels move. Viceversa when starting it. Wheels spin=engine spin. Can't get any easier than that mate. No clutch to think about, no counter balancing shafts, no complex stuff
