- We start out today's vlog in the EDSA carousel bus on our way to the Mall of Asia. Before reaching the Mall of Asia, the bus abruptly turned off so we got off at the nearest stop after we realized and started to walk to the mall. While walking to the mall, we were greeted with the theme of today's vlog; the largest IKEA in the world!
We entered the IKEA in search of their famous meatballs which we looked in the wrong spot for. Since we thought there were no meatballs for us we decided to get a hotdog, some pop, ice cream, and a churro.
We then headed through the showroom and the absolute maze that this place is! After amazing through the showrooms and more, we found the meatballs and taste-tested them as well!!

Younger audiences (teenagers) like their vlogging style. Many teens seem to be more interested in gaming, social media, anime & kpop. They also send a lot of time in their rooms. When they do go out, their destination is the mall.

Hi! I'm Swedish. Thank you for making me laugh my ass off a few times. When you tried a Swedish accent in the beginning. The sounds you made looking at the Dino plushies. The way you pronounced Hej! And the fact that you ate meatballs with a spoon. LMAO
This video defines my experience when it was my first time in IKEA PH. My only intention at that time was to eat and I was walking for almost 40 mins around just to find the meatballs. Hope you enjoy the Philippines! I'm from the south of metro manila and if you have the chance, try going to Festival Mall or maybe Alabang Town Center!

I was just at Ikea today. The Swedish restaurant where the meatballs are served is at the 4th floor. You had your food at the Swedish Bistro at the 3rd floor.

The reason I watch your reactions and your previous vlogs is because we have the same sense of humor in a way and I am a geo nerd too so Im very interested in other countries. Im glad you're enjoying our country. Tho I must say, there is just too many places to visit here. I have only been to like 40% of the Philippines and I do travel 2 to 3x a year. Hoping to bump into you guys.

There is a to go counter before the IKEA entrance, you can get your meatballs from there. If you missed that, you go to the Swedish Foodcourt on their top floor. Their soft serve ice cream is made of soy milk
Coming soon in that area is a Japanese Mall. It's nearly finish. While in MOA watch basketball at the sports arena. There are tall Filipinos too. Say, before island-hopping explore Baguio City up north in Luzon. It's a cold place where there are no coconut trees only pine trees. While in Manila take a side trip to Tagaytay, another cold place, and enjoy scenic Taal Volcano. There are world class dining places too which offer Filipino cuisines among others.
I second, they should visit Baguio too, and would be even better during December
Everyone's raving about IKEA these days and I still haven't stepped foot in that store. It's just unfortunate that Manila's quite far away from where I live. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the whole experience there. Maybe someday I will be able to do just that.
It is over rated like Starbucks pagawa mo na lang sa karpentero. Kunan mo ng picture pagaya mo ang design kayang kaya iyan ng mga Pinoy at Real wood pa.
It's a maze! But it's an experience. I went there a couple of times already and I hope you can check it out too. I recommend the Almond cake in the resto, it tastes amazing, it's something I'd come back for in there.
I live in the US and the nearest IKEA for me is around 2hrs away lol It's really fun inside cause they have pre-designed rooms and you get to see the furniture and décors presented like you're inside a house/apt. And it's massive! I have yet to see the one in the Philippines though.

If you can, I really recommend you try visiting other places and islands in the PH like Boracay, Siargao, Cebu, Palawan, etc. Tagaytay is a relatively short road trip (1.5-2 hours from Manila) so you can take a day trip or stay overnight there!

Getting lost in an IKEA store is always part of the experience. I’ve been to several IKEA stores here in California and I always get lost through the maze of displays and stalls.
The cafeteria is upstairs and you’d find the Swedish meatballs and other lunch meals there… you’re only at the snacks/bistro as in the states.

The bus was going to PITX station, the last station for buses there. It can be a pretty long walk back to SM MOA, happy you arrived fine hehe

By November typhoons should be over and the weather should feel like spring. You guys can plan going to the islands like Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor, Iloilo and Siargao. In the meantime, I like your malls adventure in the city. Next challenge is eating local like balut, kwek-kwek and isaw. 😂 The best halo-halo for me is from Razon’s. Only couple of ingredients but taste really good. If u want fancy, try Iceberg’s ( they hve a branch at SM North Edsa
Sitting at the back part of the bus is really bumpy. Filipinos will not choose to sit there unless they have no more choice.🙂

I’m in Los Angeles, out by Covina, lots of people go to Ikea just to eat! The breakfast is pretty good too. Our Ikea is in the same building as the Jollibee Headquarters for North America.
I believe that is just the Swedish Bistro you found. There is a big foodcourt/restaurant there where the meals are. 😊

You must go to Okada Manila, a very affluent place and since you like to eat. try the buffet there as well

yes the bus in edsa and some other mode of public transportation across the Philippines are commissioned since the pandemic was begun by the Department of transportation for a free ride to daily commuter foreign or locals.
