I don’t recall so many of these songs. I guess it was the top 40 format of the NYC radio stations of the time that weren’t playing the lower ranked songs during prime time.
Back in time when Cher was still a good female singer/performer (unfortunately, it wasn't the case anymore during the late 90's when she embraced the whole Dance/Electro/autotune stuff).

KZOU and KKYK in Little Rock, I was 19 at the time and all of these classics were on regular rotation. Love #82, should've peaked higher than #80.
