Hello, I have used this and the SN still is not able to locate the serial number. My bridge and app are all updated, however these serial numbers are not showing up not matter how I try. I think I am close to just binning the items.
My chip is a V3. The SN is at the very bottom of the chip. I wonder if they only started adding the SN to later chip versions. I hope you get them working.
Yeah same here, mine doesn't say S/N anywhere on the chip. I even took apart another light that I know the S/N for but that number is not found anywhere on the chip. Both my lights have a v1.1 chip, maybe they didnt stamp the chips with the S/N in the early lights, which seems super dumb.
Ugh, seems like my chip is a V3. The SN is at the very bottom of the chip. I wonder if they only started adding the SN to later chip versions. Sorry :(
THANK YOU! Been looking everywhere for a solution like this.
You’re welcome. Yeah I about gave up on the light myself.

@ItsMeChrisDavis I had to download a hue light lamp finder app on my computer. Sync to bridge from computer and it found my light's.
