    Hi! Just wondering, if this is the first time I am trying this, is it normal that I get a shoulder blade pain/tightness during and after the exercise?

      Everyone and every body is so different so I can't really say for sure or know or see how you did it....be sure to not move your head to right or left in this pose though! I suggest to wait to try again w. a live teacher so they can watch your alignment!

      @@COLECHANCEYOGACCY Thank you! It turned out to be just a thing of the moment I believe. After a couple of hours I was alright. I will be mindful next time tho, 'cause that was my first time trying and I might have over done it.

    I randomly stumbled upon this video. I just recently added shoulder stand back into my yoga practice after years of following the Iyengar method. However, the real takeaway from this video was the suggestion of doing viparita karani with a block under your bum. That's a real game changer. I love the restorative nature of this asana, but I don't always have a wall that I can utilize.
