Its the same thing, gurl. They just did it by continent so that it'll be fair for others too. Sometimes a lot of finalists are from the Americas and Africa & Asia, isnt it unfair for the Europe group that its not the same number of finalists as the other continents. ITS not pathetic. They still get girls who excel,but by continent, for fairness and to be equally divided.
@@oofie5995 how it's unfair for Europe group ?? When Miss universe is a competition and the best needs to be placed irrespective of where they come from. If you really want fairness then they better send strong girls just like how Asians and latinas are strong everytime. Last year deserving girls like India and Equador were unplaced bc of this awful format and Hungary,Poland were placed even though they are weaker in walk, stage presence and QndA when compared to em. But yes this year Europe is strong and all of them who placed from Europe region (except for Portugal) would've placed even without this stupid format. Chile/Panama/Malaysia are more deserving than Portugal.
