he's in pain.. but he still sang for the audience.. Very professional.. we all loved you MORE for that Jon..But I'm sure you made your fans worried about you!
The show must go on it is that simple for any and all tried and true artists/musicians/performers. Nobody with respect for their fans, their music as well as for their self would stop a show if there is anyway they can make it through without serious injury. It is, just like any other job, a part of the duty and responsibility of the job description to perform a set amount of time. I have great respect for Jon and all other musicians/performers that lives by the code "The Show Must Go On". I have spent my life in music from a very young age we are talking I was 3 years old when I was bit by the music bug and 5 years old when I actually began playing. I played many instruments however the drums was my bread and butter. When I was 23 years old I had pneumonia and well the show must go on and it did. I felt awful and those sticks felt like they weighed a hundred pounds each and my arms felt like they weighed a thousand pounds each but I had a job to do. Half way through the show I dropped a stick, I dropped quite a few sticks that night but this was the last one that was in my easy access spot so I had to pick it up and keep going. Just as I twisted to pick up as many sticks at once I began to cough and in the position I was sitting I broke two ribs. The pain was horrible and the show was only half way over. I finished that show had no idea my ribs were broken I just wanted to lay down and the cough syrup made sure I slept. When I woke up the pain was so bad and I couldn't breathe so I went to the hospital and the x-ray showed the 2 broken ribs. They taped my ribs and said no playing drums but again the show must go on and it did. I played the last three shows before a week break and I slept practically the entire week we were off. Point is every job has its duties and personal problems most of the time do not out weigh what must be done, unless further damage could be detrimental, no matter who you are or what you do for a living you do your job period! Cancelling a show is a last resort and a regrettable one. I was a drummer so if push really came to shove I could have had a sub however when it is the front man the pressure is on and their are only two options cancel the show or suffer through it. Jon did not create an empire by being a quitter, slacker, or by disappointing the fans and my hat is off to you Jon... not everyone has the scruples to carry on as you do. That is only one reason why you are so revered by your fans, your band mates, your friends, family, industry people and just about everyone you meet.
it takes allot of strength to do that while injured I used to do dance and i tore the calf musle i tryed to finish the 4 hour show i was 1 hour in i mad it till the last 1/2 hour then i just had to stop i felt so bad he is a amazing man
I WAS HERE! wayyyyy in the back but i was! i felt so bad since this was my first concert "WOO EPIC CONCERT.... of course first one i go to my fav bands singer gets hurt -.-"
Chuzo se nota que le duele mucho y especialmente que es muy activo en los conciertos. Pero Jon es un genio, un profesional a carta cabal. Atte. Nancy Morales desde Ecuador.
My dad’s girlfriend went to this specific concert before. I feel so bad for her because everything unfortunate always happens to her like that time. She also goes through excruciating pain and torment non-stop every day because her joints always slip out of place. Please comment and give one prayer to her. I pray every night for her pain from my dad’s girlfriend to stop. 😭😭😭

I am so sorry sh has such problems. I have Ehlers-danlos syndrome, so I am no stranger to frequent dislocations and subluxations
can someone tell me what he says at the beginning? I only got ,"....and I've got no where to go" what does he say before that?
"Don't worry folks I ain't got nowhere to go"💜
He did a injury in the same place the second time
