This song has helped me deal with the grief over the loss of family members I've lost in the last few years -- just like I've used Nightwish's song of "Meadows of Heaven" and Iron Maiden's "Hallowed Be Thy Name."
This is powerful -- just like every human emotion we have. So bloody well done.
And yes, I love the furry family members that people have too -- so it has that feel for me too.
By the way, react to Endurant by Bloodywood -- a song about bullying. There isn't a subject this band can't cover.
And about helping people with mental health, I prefer the term "counselor." There is a softness to that word that "psychiatrist" or "psychologist" just doesn't have, since a counselor can be a friend, a family member, or even a complete stranger -- someone who is willing to actually work through a problem you might have, or someone who merely offers a willing ear to listen to what you're dealing with.
