Listen man, when you work with computers or machines all day you get weird. Go ask mechanics about whether the machines know you're trying to fix them or not. They do.
When I saw that Yahtzee came back, I audibly said “YES! YES! LET’S FUCKING GO!” as if I was the one who wanted back Yahtzee myself. This storytelling was immaculate and immersive. If UA-cam still had a system where you could rate videos out of 5 stars, I would give it a perfect 5 without a single shred of a doubt.
As someone who is part of yahtzee league on a discord server (long story there) I was hanging on every word. Hurrah to BuddyBoardGames and their dedication
I firstly thought that after you found out that Yahtzee died on the website, you guys decided to create a Yahtzee app or program, and was told by some corporate entity that Yahtzee has been banned and outlawed all over the world, anyone caught playing dice would be sentenced to death (or something tragic). It was then that you realized that Yahtzee TRULY died. Thank god nope. But that one line you said "We've been taking it for granted this whole time." I immediately thought of flash games, all those exciting and fun flash games in the early 2000s. Now all relegated to history, when Flash Player ended service. Hundreds and thousands of flash games, gone. Yes many are hot garbage, we can ignore them, but the remaining 1000-2000 best games, all died with it. Maybe ppl can get them back, but sadly many will vanish forever. Treasure your games. Dun take them for granted.
The epic drama over a board game nobody gives a flying flip about XD. Masterfully done! Also if you really like it, build your own, open source it, and it'll live forever
Do yourself and customer support a favour and just ask "Hey I really liked playing yahtzee on your server. I've been wondering is it down or just in temporary maintenance" instead of writing AI slop that obfuscates your actual point. Sure it might be fun and in this case the devs took it lightheartedly but for any customer support that regularly receives requests this type of writing will just needlessly waste time
The fact that they replied in the same manner was incredibly unexpected and quite humourous
They're truly one of the websites of all time.
