🌞Happy Summer Everyone! I hope you're enjoying the start of the new season. What did you think of all the different ways to curate a coastal style and which is your favorite? I would love to know your thoughts! Have a beautiful day! ❤Liz
Hi Liz 😊 I am in the process of revamping (so to speak) my entryway. Coastal is all the rage in these stores. Although I'm not going with it, I have purchased 2 lit Coastal objects, for my new console table shelves. They are made for outdoors, but hey, they will work inside, and help in setting evening mood lighting, along with candles, etc. Needless to say, I'm spending a pretty penny with all of my new purchases, albeit through P.B. and West Elm. Rattan, Cane, Seagrass, will Never go out! I'm settling with an Earthy, rustic, organic style. Warmer. Additionally. If your in need of any new outdoor pots, terracotta or ceramic, PB is having a Great sale right now. Whatevers left of, that is! 🙌🥰
The classic coastal look appeals most to me. I've been working on this look for a while now in my den/great room area. Loved the ideas you've offered, thanks!
I found the photos too small in this video. It would have been better to select several bigger photos to showcase the different styles. I appreciate that you put a lot of thought into your videos. I really like coastal design.
I'm a bit dense when it comes to design but I'll admit I'm confused as to what makes modern coastal distinct from timeless elegance. Is it the colour palette? Or some combination of textures? Thank you!
Great question! Regarding the looks presented it's really a matter of how they were put together. Modern coastal is more clean-lined and minimal whereas the Timeless Neutrals look has more traditional/transitional elements to it.
@@BalanceRhythm Thank you for the explanation. It really helps to know that there are subtle tweaks that really make a difference in the type of look! No wonder I keep getting the "crazy mixed up" look!
@@BalanceRhythm Thank you. It's wonderful to know that this is designer sanctioned! And yes, I mea this is a huge relief. It's important to learn to love my own home and style. Again, thank you!

Sounds beautiful! Thanks for the heads up on the PB sale!
The first style was my favourite. ❤️
Neutrals, natural fibers, eclectic, minimal...all of these describe Scandinavian as well, which is my favorite.

My pleasure!
Australian coastal is my fave, specifically Queensland coastal.

@@JBaxter-pi8oj My pleasure! Sometimes it's hard to see the subtle differences but don't be afraid to mix things up if you love them ❤

@@JBaxter-pi8oj You are so welcome! So happy you're loving your home!
Pity those online home stores don't have European subsidiaries (UO probably being the exception).
I believe most of them ship internationally.
@@BalanceRhythm Yes, but the cost of shipping + taxes and duties make it very expensive.
@@duikmans True. It may be best budget-wise to take inspiration from these retailers and try to source similar items closer to home.
