I have this same exact kit and when the time comes if you don t mind i will use rhis exact masking technic.. it is very very good! Nice episode! I like your videos very much

How you dilute MR.Surfacer 1500 Black?

But I wonder, how did you attach the stick in the nozzle, for handling the model while painting?

Thanks mate, I put some sponge around the stick.. but I would not suggest using such handle if the burner can is not solidly attached.

why use a spare canopy? Why not just use the masked one?

Because the "open" canopy has pegs which prevent it from closing.
