  • Butterflied Roast Chicken on the all-new Weber Traveler? You betcha! 🍗
While a typical roast may be a bit too tall for this adventure barbecue, any cut of meat that can be butterflied is perfect to take with you!
Pair that with some delicious roasted potatoes and greens, and you've got a dish that will satisfy rumbly tummies at the end of a long day.

Great convince instructions! I'm up at Lake Tahoe using
your chicken instructions on my Traveler.
Tomorrow, fresh salmon from the lake. What method do you recommend, from "down under" in Australia?

so unlike the Q series a trivet is not required to elevate the chicken and either tin foil or the disposable convection trays to prevent the direct flame burning the chicken? Thanks.

Hey Mike, here we're technically cooking the chicken direct at a temperature that can let the chicken cook without burning. With the Q range, you're using convection style of heating to cook your food on all sides, whereas here you're flipping the bird halfway to cook it through.
      Hope that helps!

Looked like after the initial heat up, she lowered the heat. I’m assuming to the middle?

Hey, it was pre-heating on high and then turned to direct medium heat (between 180°C-230°C. You'll find the settings in the handbook with your barbecue)
