Jokic does everything on offense for the nuggets. It’s crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone dominate the offense like him. He does while moving the ball around too. Raises players confidence

@@sbkamara2003Embiid is a great player. But embiid’s stats drop off in the playoffs is bigger than any other MVP in history. Jokic’s stats actually get better. What counts is how you play in the playoffs, and Embiid has shown he’s a regular season player. Never gotten out of the second round. It would be one thing if he played great but they still lost. But that’s not the case, Embiid shrinks in the playoffs. Let’s see if he can change that this season.

Denver is still the team to beat for a championship if somebody is going to do it. I continue to be astounded watching Jokic play. He is almost like a bigger, less athletic version of Larry Bird playing center. That's who he reminds me of. What he is able to do is just baffling because if he went through an NBA combine he would test out literally dead last in everything but it doesn't matter because he just knows how to play the game.
I think it’s pretty amazing, and sad, that these people don’t know how dramatically Jokic was impacted by the death of Dejan Milojević. He was his head coach at Mega for two years and got him drafted and on his way to the NBA. Jokic was out there playing for his mentor and coach why don’t these people do their background work? It’s superficial fluff.

The reason Denver won. The won the championship, their guys have the maturity, and Tatum and Brown still don’t. They don’t use their size, they chuck threes, it’s bad. Every time we think the Celtics can break their bad habits, they don’t. I’m a Celtics fan, I like Joe’s philosophy, but that only works when we play team basketball.
Exactly! The reason I knew Boston would lose to Miami is the same reason I knew the Nuggets would BEAT Miami. Boston is TERRIBLE AT CLOSING. If you keep it close with them, Tatum and Brown will fold. The nuggets are great closers and you saw it here tonight!

Nuggets turnovers are the main reason why Celtics stayed in the game. It could have been much worse.
... and about 8 lucky bounces off of deep 3 bricks. Nuggets were boxing out fine, the long 3s just kept volley balling out over their heads. As a team you can't expect that to go your favor 4 times in a 7 game series either. And that's why teams built around the 3-ball (last decade's Golden State as the possibly lone exception) always struggle in the playoffs.
Jayson Tatum used to be one of the most scary players to touch the ball at the last few seconds if your the opponent because of how he can find ways to drive inside. Now they are focusing too much in 3s it seems Jayson lost a little bit of that.

Overall this was a great game and I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in the finals. Jokic is a freaking baller man, that dude can play. Am I sadden by the unbeaten streak coming to a end. Tatum's great against bad teams but gets put in jail every time they face a good one. His ability to elevate his game to overcome adversity is non-existent. He's one of the worst high volume clutch efficiency players in the league for a reason. He is so easy to gameplay for; for the opposing team, they just have to treat him like a slightly better shooting Giannis. If he's not getting to the rim, he's not that good, given his low efficiency as a jump shooter. If I were the other team, I'd let him shoot as much as he wants in an unswitched man to man setup because he has no consistency unless DW screens for him and forces a switch onto someone like Austin Reaves. Any defensive physicality is too much for him. Whenever there's a competitive matchup, the lights are always too bright and the defense too stifling for him to do anything.
