Shaving : grows back 2 days later Nair : smells gross ,also comes back fast Wax: haven’t tried it cuz I’m a chicken and probably going to be too scared to pull it and once i do I’ll pull it half way which is gonna hurt soo.. I’m sad Laser : don’t even think about it , it’s uncomfortable
Charlotte Harper I have a whole wig down there and I’m hella insecure about it. I don’t wanna shave because I fear my hair will grow back faster and grow longer. When I shower, I see this long line down there oof
I was surprised at just how painful it was after I used Nair down there.I was so excited it was going to be sooo smooth...then I peed, almost screamed and had to walk like a cowboy.
I tried electrolysis permanent hair removal before in a salon. I think it was once or twice there, but I remembered it hurt alot, and my hair grew MORE after.... I later went to school to learn it and found out that if it hurts, it means the person is using the machine at a setting that is too strong/high, and is actually stimulating the hair to grow more, instead of less when the settings are low enough. So bottom line, pain is a good indication that it's too high. Not every spa/salon has properly trained workers, so even if you do your research, there's always a way of getting screwed anyways, because they don't give out that type of information. Best places will never work on you fully right away. They'll give you a free 5 min sample on one out of the way place on yourself, and then you wait awhile to judge your skin's reaction before deciding to come back to buy a full treatment. Sometimes you'll find workers who were trained very well, eventhough they don't have a diploma, and sometimes someone with a diploma will suck, not because their school was bad, but because they just chose to cut corners and work the way they want in a way that doesn't help the client. So it's really great to pay attention to how the person is and how your skin/hair reacts to the way they work.
I used to use razors but then the hair just grew so strong that I couldn’t shave it completely.. like we could see the heads of the hair Idk how to explain it in English but I just let it grow and waxed it so now I just wax. Idk how to wax down there by myself so I go to salon yes it’s embarrassing but it’s just every 2,3 weeks and the lady is very nice, she know I’m shy but then I get ride of the hair & she gets good tips.
I let it to my aesthetist (hope write well but if is wrong correct me), I ask always to get rid of ALL hairs there(we call it "brasiliana") she is very nice and make me feel comfortable. That method I use normally is not very used because they tell me it hurts, but I have a not-very-human threshold for pain (I sing when see do it because there's always a radio on in the place), but MOST IMPORTANTLY (I don't know if anyone of you have this problem) when I don't get wax I'm in bad time because my hair are curly even there, super curly and strong so they hurting my skin all the time, skin become red as a tomato so I try to wax the part more I can
I remember when I got the first strand of hair “down there” my mum wanted to pluck it out with a tweezer and I cried to Jesus and my dad asked what was going on and I just stared at him and said “KILL ME”
The best hair removal cream to use in the pubic area is Nair’s hair removal lotion for sensitive skin. I use it all the time and I never get rashes, burns or ingrown hairs.
So I'm curious, how do you feel about "shaving" your face? I've seen women on UA-cam take the eyebrow razors and do it for their peach fuzz/side burns. I'm curious if I should try it! I've ordered them already and haven't had the guts to do it. Hahahahahah! I've tried threading- yeah, NO! >_< helpppppp
+Sandra Sadek I actually read an article about it recently and SO many women are regretting ever doing it. It apparently causes so many ingrown hairs and the hair grows back prickly! 😧
jinelle caliston first off, not all arabs are muslims, there r a lot of Christian arabs. I am a Muslim but I don’t need to cover myself. I dress modestly by not wearing booty shorts but it never says anything about having to cover your hair in the Quran it only says that our prophet’s wives have to. I still understand ppl covering their head but I don’t do it. And covering your face isn’t good in my opinion, what’s the point of covering all of God’s beautiful creation? Not all Muslims need to cover up it’s just what u believe in
Leena A. The true meaning of hijab is the covering of the entire body, not just the hair. In the Quran it mentions to draw your veil over your juyoobihinna, which includes covering your hair, neck, breasts and face.
But wouldn't that be more prone to having ingrown hairs? It seeams like if you tear it the opposite way, the hair follicule might get moved and the hair might grow in a wrong way?
+juliet blua always in the opposite direction so that you're ripping the hair from the root. If you do it in the same direction you'll just end up with a sticky mess haha
Yes, you will get ingrown hairs, which is why a few days after your wax treatment, you really need to exfoliate to make sure the folicle is not clogged with too much dead skin, and your new weaker hair can exit to the surface without obstacles meeting and blocking it. And continue to exfoliate as recommended by a proffesional that has examined your skin and explained to you what are some of the best exfoliating methods suited for your skin type. Also, if we skip schedules treatments, and wax on and off again... for a long period of time instead of what we're suppose to, then our folicles become crooked from the continuous waxing, and we will get ingrown hairs for sure, and even forever if we don't correct them or prevent ourselves from developing them. This is why the best preventative measure from crooked folicles is to just respect the schedule, and get the waxing service all done within a year or 2 max, not ongoing forever. if we pulled the wax strip in the direction where the hair grows, it is not enough of a grip to pull the hair with enough force to rip it out of the root, it will actually clip the hair midway, and not damage the hair root like we wanted it to. The shaking will also stimulate the remainding hair inside of the root, bringing more blood to the area, which feeds the root with more nutrients, and give the existing connected hair more nutrients to grow stronger, thicker, and darker, which is not desired.
You really shouldnt recommend dollar deodorant for down there or any area. Regular deodorants have tons of chemicals and are horrible for you, causing cancers and other issues. Use aloe vera!
i read somewhere that it wasnt safe to wax is that true? the article said that waxing can tear the skin or something and leave you more available to diseases. it said something like that but is that true ??
Waxing has been done for centuries in so many countries. It doesn’t tear the skin at all when it’s done correctly. Same argument with shaving, if you cut yourself you’re prone to bacteria as well. As long as you’re careful & holding your skin firmly then it’s fine!
No, not at all. That article is false. Like the comment says below me, the same goes for shaving. If you just don’t freak out and do it incorrectly by yourself or not go to a professional then, nothing will go wrong. Waxing has such a bad rep because it hurts for some people. So therefore, they talk badly about it just because of their own personal experiences. If you want to do it, don’t let them hold you back. :)
Yes. You can tare the skin with waxing if it's not done fast enough and the wax looses it's heat too much or wasn't warm/hot enough to begin with, thus becoming more solid, yet you tare off the strip anyways really hard. I've done it by accident on my upper lip because I was too hesitant and waited too long, and people thought I was a kokaine addict because it left a big scab near my nostril lol And YES, waxing can make you more at risk of catching diseases. 1- you get waxed in a salon, and they don't use fresh wax on you. Instead they use the same can of wax they use on everyone, and take the same stick they used on you, dipping it into the can of hot wax, scooping some out, smearing it onto your body and this stick collects some of your small skin cells and sometimes even blood because it's touching your body, then they take that same stick and dip it back into that same can of wax, and repeat. And when they're done with you, sure they either throw out the wooden stick or clean it if it's metal, even can sterilize the stick, but they still left behind plenty of your skin cells and blood in that can of wax which they put on the next customer, thus increasing the risk of infection with a disease that can survive that hot temperature of the heated wax. This is why some places have made it illegal to use this older traditional method, and those salons have been forced by the goverment to at least use a different dipping stick after each sectional application so that they never double dip back into the same can of wax, or they make you buy the entire can of wax and you keep the left overs for your future visits, or they use wax beads where they melt the exact amount of wax they'll need to use on you and never contaminate the wax with other customers. In the past they've known this was a risk when using the traditional double dip method, but the risk was deemed too scarce to be an issue since it's very unlikely to trace the contamination back to them, but recent studies took greater notice of this theoretical risk, and some goverments prefer to not take the chance, as well as some salons who don't have these kinds of laws but choose to offer the best safety for their customers. 2- waxing in general doesn't just remove your hair, it also removes a layer of your dead skin cells on the survace. This "layer of death" is part of our "shield" against pathogenic invaders, "bad germs". We have several layers actually, and eventhough exfoliating removes some and evens them out smoothly, waxing is a bit more harsh to this layer which is one reason why it is recommended to not exfoliate, shave, sunbathe, swim in highly chlorinated pools, or use any chemical acidic solutions on the skin before and after a wax treatment (time varies upon what it is and your skin type). The skin is very sensitive after a wax treatment, and therefore more vulnerable. Putting a lotion helps, but of course it is not 100% and still needs a little time to rejuvinate it's natural protection. Waxing generally should never be done as a habbit of shaving, it is not supose to be a life long chore. We're suppose to do it on a tight schedule so that we can pull out the disconnected hair, then come back when it's still connected to the actual root and pull it out before it disconnects again so the treatment can actually traumatise the root with this "violent' action to damage it, making it grow weaker each time, removing it while it's still connected to the root, until it just gives up and stops growing anymore. Waxing one area until the hair stops growing should not take more than a year or 2 max of properly respected scheduled visits. (if you respect your treatment schedule, and your hair remains the same, never going away even a little bit or ridiculously too slowly, then it's possible that you have an internal issue where your hair is continuously regenerating new root cells, or any other hormonal situations, etc, and no salon hair removal treatment will work and you'll need to seek a doctor to help control your hair). If you skip visits, you'll miss the "anagen" and "catagen" phase where the hair is still connected and growing from the root, and you'll end up catching the "telegen" phase, where the hair has grown enough to disconnect from the root, leting a fresh one grow underneath, and the telegen hair is waiting to shed off. Missing visits will just catch this phase of the hair, not only just removing hair that isn't connected to the live root, but each violent pulling shakes the "hole" of skin that surrounds where the hair grows, and this "shaking" stimulates it, and makes it more and more crooked everytime, thus making the hair inside grow crooked as it follows this newly shaped "tunnel" , and often gets trapped under the skin as it tries to make it's way out to the surface where we can catch it with the wax. You know how when you have an ingrown hair, and you pull at it, and you find it's actually longer? Well you can imagine that it has grown enough to detatch from the root and is in it's telegen phase, so pulling that isn't actually helping reduce your hair growth since it's not even attatched to the root anymore. This is why we're not suppose to wax "forever". It's only supose to be a temporary thing, not done every year to get ready for bikini season... There are ways to correct these curled hair folicles, like with electrolysis. Think of the filament in electrolysis as a hair straightening iron, that has enough heat to soften your skin and straighten out your crooked hair "holes". I'm sure there are other ways also, this is just the one I know for sure about. All and all, everything comes with it's own risks, and it's not worth living in a safe bubble all our lives. It's just best to do your research and find out how to do things properly. All your fears are true about waxing, but like many have said, they can all be remedied by having them done properly so that we can stay safe. Added Note: There's also the personal roll on waxes that use to be used in public salons before they were banned with the canned wax method. I've caught some salons still using them but others have evolved out of it because they didn't like how when you clean the roller, you have to waste more wax. In general, it's not very hygenic at all, since a persons skin and blood cells mix in with the rest of the wax also. I predict that when people store their own personal waxes, that our bodies cells inside will begin to turn rancid and effect the rest of the wax if left for too long. Should throw it out after some time. Not sure how long, but deffinetely shouldn't use it if it's over 1 or 2 years old. Think of it like meat, it wouldn't be hygenic to eat food that's been left out for years. Sure we don't see cells changing infront of our naked eyes, but I'm sure there's some microscopic activity going on in those old containers of used wax we keep... so it would be more safe to use it up or throw it out before it has a chance to grow into something we wouldn't want it to.
Although I'm sure there are people who talk smack due to their emotionally traumatic experiences :P Not every proffessional is truthful. They're people too, and some people are lazy while others are more into it. Everything has a risk, nothing is 100% perfect or safe. The likely hood of something bas happening is very low, low enough to not worry about, but it can still happen, even if it's 1 out of a 100 chance. Not to say we should freak out and avoid something, it's just worth it to understand those problems and find solutions so we can still take advantage of available options.
Ok ok, but don't be so dramatic when it comes to wax, like: breath in and out and pray to jesus. It doesn't hurt in that point when u start thinking about praying or panicking, its true tho that hurts but its not a pain than u can't tolerate. Plus waxing is the best way to get ur body hair away maybe not down there, i dont prefer it but in general is great, cuz if u use waxing ur hair slow down dont grow anymore and it comes a time u dont have hair, but shaving is the worst cuz makes more hair to grow even tho its easier
I don't know why women on UA-cam promote shaving because shaving your vagina isn't the best idea cause you can get ingrown hairs and other types of issues as well so my advice for other women out there please don't shave your vaginal area !
adia 123 I've been shaving for 15 years and have had zero problems. Plus guys prefer it to be shaved. I mean come on....do you really think a guy will want to go down on you when it's all hidden in a jungle? Yeah, gross. Plus if you're on your period and use pads, it's just messier.
"Then you say a quick prayer to Jesus because this is gonna hurt." I love you so much 😂😂❤️

Although I'm sure there are people who talk smack due to their emotionally traumatic experiences :P
Not every proffessional is truthful.
They're people too, and some people are lazy while others are more into it.
Everything has a risk, nothing is 100% perfect or safe.
The likely hood of something bas happening is very low, low enough to not worry about,
but it can still happen, even if it's 1 out of a 100 chance.
Not to say we should freak out and avoid something,
it's just worth it to understand those problems and find solutions so we can still take advantage of available options.
Amazing video! You got a new sub 😘

Ur so freaking gorgeous 😭😭😍
Yes I need to get rid of it down there My hair
this really helped thank you
You’re so welcome love
