‘All Possibilities’ was the third single to be taken from Badly Drawn Boy’s top ten album ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’ the follow-up to 2000’s Mercury Music Prize winning release ‘The Hour Of Bewilderbeast’.
The release of ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’ came hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed ‘About A Boy’ soundtrack and the hit singles, ‘You Were Right’ and 'Born Again'. 'Have You Fed The Fish' has been described by Uncut magazine as “a modern classic” and by Arena as “the album of the year".
Badly Drawn Boy recently caused a stir in central London while filming the video for 'All Possibilities'. Two secret cameras filmed Gough busking the single to a mixture of bemused and indifferent commuters outside Waterloo Station. As was widely reported in the next days newspapers, in the first hour and a half of performing BDB made the grand sum of £1.60 enough to make Gough comment 'It's well below the average wage isn't it? I'd be better off working at McDonalds...'

I went to see The Beautiful South in Birmingham and Badly Drawn Boy was the support act, he had stepped in at the last moment as a replacement. Great gig.

@@harryburrows2112 was this a hit in the UK or any part of the world? In the US I know it wasn’t a hit I only heard it on the radio at work back in 2014 and really fell in love with this song.
@@ryankalata I think it was a hit in the early 2000s, I listen to a radio show from that time and it is played a lot, that’s how I found it.
@@harryburrows2112 maybe it was a hit in the UK but I don’t think it charted anywhere at all in US which is where I live. I’m sure there were radio stations here that played the song it’s just I don’t think it got played enough to chart. I first heard it on the radio at one of my old workplaces. It was also used in a Target commercial in the US in the mid-2000s but I didn’t pick up on the songs usage until I discovered this song.
