If you have never been to a Slipknot concert, it is highly suggested that you go before you leave this earth. I've seen them about 12 times now. I don't know how Corey does it but his voice sounds deeper live. They never disappoint, ever.

as leandro said, time off, but he also will not approach syllables or higher pitched vocals with the same technique (which is bad for the voice)
If memory serves, he quit smoking during the drought b4 the Gray Chapter, or something round there. That's gotta help.

You're right, credit where credit's due. I went to a series of metal shows around the year 2000 when groups like Kitty and Coal Chamber were big. Slipknot were at like 3 of the shows I went to within like a year. Now 23+ years later, they're still touring like mad. Not a big fan anymore, but all the energy is quite impressive.
The laughter at the beginning of Disasterpiece is so fucking badass!
And I'm wondering why on earth Corey still sounded so fucking great at the age of 48.

Same man, saw them in 05 when they were touring Vol. 3 with Unearth and Killswitch Engage. Was a childhood dream to see Joey live and I managed got a horns and middle finger from him, was in the front row wearing his IOWA Kabuki mask. Going to see them this Sunday, not gonna be the same without Joey on the drums but I'm still stoked to see the current lineup!

I just can't believe how underrated Alex Venturella is. You can hear the bass fills and the riffs and the bass in spit it out gives goosebumps..
I'm very surprised to see Snuff in the setlist, but very happy about it! One of my absolute favorite songs of all time. Only wish I'd able to hear it live one day myself.
I think it's actually the first tour they put it onto the setlist.
Saw them twice but never heard Snuff. Enough reason for watching a third concert.
corey taylor does the song all the time when he’s on his own tour. Not like he hasn’t sang it in forever. Songs like the blister exists should be put back on.
I was at this show... it blew my mind that they played it. Such a pleasant surprise.

Oh so I guess you can't miss something you've never been to to experience but when they had Joey jordison for a drummer they used to have a drum solo all the time and that's when they kicked ass

I just saw them on Saturday in Minnesota. Corey Taylor was ON FIRE! I've seen them 4 times now (including live at Iowa State Fair) and this concert was BY FAR THE BEST! The energy! The loudness! The stage! The vocals! OMG! It was the sickest concert yet! After all, we are all just maggots in the end!

I tell you frankly, Slipknot live doesn't do justice in UA-cam, you have to see it live to appreciate it.. Corey's voice is one of a kind

That Disasterpiece opening! Woo! It's like watching the 'Disasterpieces' live in London performance from '03 (wish they still had the same masks) all over again! Didn't think Corey still had this scream in him anymore. Buying my tickets for this year's Knotfest now!
Slipknot wasn't performing in 2003 but it was London 2002.
Still I wonder why they never try to do something new, fresh, dope and original just as they did back in the day with that DVD!

They still way beyond havin’ it. WOAH! Corey Taylor to this day is still one of the most underrated voices in all of music. His broad ranged voice is truly unmatched. A true rock and roll legend. Would still love to see them live to this day. 31 years old now, seems like yesterday I had them on my walkman in middle school. Would have loved to seen them do “Pulse of The Maggots”. My personal all time favorite.
Underrated? He's widely considered one of the greatest frontmen of all time.
I liked "Snuff" in the set list because they almost don't present this song in the shows but I missed "Get This", this was the only thing missing for the playlist to be perfect!

HELL YEAH! I'm definitely going to a slipknot concert. Coreys voice sounds excellent now! The band sounds great too. I was really satisfied how well he performed Vermillion vocally, that used to be my most favorite song by Slipknot.
