Thanks so much, amateur I know compared to some and not glossy but love keyless driving, PAAK is so much trouble and this is the best workaround. I didn't know a thing about Mustangs but felt that is had to be synonymous with quality. I don't that think I'd have thought any better of Ford than the Kia, Hyandai, Toyata crowd.
Just a heads up:You will find that the battery in the key fob will go dead faster when you leave it in the car. The car will send out a ping and the fob will be constantly send back its code so the fob will never "sleep." Thanks for the locking tip. I will try this on my truck to see if it works, thought usually I just reach in door and hit the lock button. Now... I need to find the code for my wife's new mach e. We just got it used, but I have not found the card yet. SO I may have to get the dealer involved.
Thanks for the battery tip. I mostly use it when I'm out for a day, golfing, shipping etc. Those times that I panic about losing the key, it's nice not to have to think.

Slightly above the door open button is the door lock button. One finger instead of two. It's a very small padlock icon.

Leaving your key in the car is a big big mistake mate. Car gets stolen with key left in it, insurance VOID
