I don't believe that's intentional, the original video that discovered this secret just referred to it as that, but everyone mutually agreed that was the name for it.
I said it before and I'll say it again. A lot of the core problems with this game is that the enemy just runs towards you and spams attacks. That's not fun and forces you to play in one specific way. The enemy needs to have 2 phases. Offensive and Defensive. Offensive. Attacks once. Ignores getting damaged and only aims to go in for the attack when close. Defensive. After one attack, they back up from the player and are more prone to dodging attacks. A few seconds in and then will switch back to offensive.
I could make the argument the enemy attempting dodges and Chara's cleanse is the defensive half, however, Woloned making the mini genocide might have something along those lines.
This actually would make more sense when thinking about the source material too. In undertale, you and the enemy take turns attacking, with you dodging after attacking, so this could sort of represent that in game.

Edit: 18:18 Asgore needs someting to protect himself and he dont have anything to protect himself, thats the problem here. Heyo! No one's late, I always get notifications of every comment since my channel is still small, so I read everything. Thanks for the support. From what I was told, Asgore received damage reduction during the trident slashes...even in my freetine, I haven't reached demonic mode. Yeah, about losing save files...giving up to Chara sends you back to the main menu screen. I mentioned it in the first video after the Sans campaign segment. It does suck losing progress though. Bonetale will update again in the next month or two, and I'll have a video like this one for when it happens.

Great video! I just want to say something you might not have known. If you go back to older versions and use the unlock all cheat in the older version, it saves on the newest version. And the thing you said about flowey is so true! It gets boring after spamming vines then using the pellets over again
I noticed that with my file 3 save, in 1.4, the unlockall cheat still cursed me with the Toby Dog in 1.5 and 1.6 when version swapping. If Frisk (1.4) was reworked for monotonous gameplay, then I doubt Flowey will be exempt from that depending on what Woloned thinks, as well as what he plans on doing between now and 1.6.3.

Hey a trick about flowy you can continually use vin and it will trap her if you aim it perfectly she wont move at all but if you dont shell only be abil to move 1 step and when she gets to close just run
Wish the characters could be copied into the create menu, some abilities like chara's new dash when it's held is not in create, but chara has it when you switch to them as a character, it makes me wonder just exactly how many abilities are usable throughout all characters and compare it to what the character creator can offer us.

Asgore is possible, the only thing that makes it possible would be that the trident slash slows down chara, else nightmare would catch up to you, also you can use the dna thing as a shield by moving forward and using it There is also a glitch in demonic where if you die but the fire explosion kills Chara in the animation then Chara will evolve and you will be invincible
Frisk in Bonetale used to be my least favourite character to play as, but after beating demonic mode as Frisk, Frisk has definitely became the most funnest character to play as.
I tried actually making the characters instead of using transparent images, half of them didn't turn out right or I didn't have enough cosmetic options for.

In 1.5 or 1.6, using the UNLOCKALL cheat will play the annoying dog music whenever you are on the main menu screen while the Toby Dog bounces around, or does other funny things while Bonetale gets "cheats addition" added to the title and every shopkeeper is permanently replaced with the Toby Dog unless you either reset your save file, or go into a file that you didn't enable cheats for. Basically, it's just a permanent reminder you used commands to unlock everything rather than earning it. Versions 1.4 or earlier do not have the Toby Dog there to pester you.
I noticed a bug where as the custom character you can attack during the starting cutscene when pressing skip while there are certain abilities put on the C binded slot. Edit: and another bug where dying as a custom character with the rebirth ability occasionally softlocked me and I would be unable to continue, forcing me to have to restart the game
just beat hard level 3 as asgore and will be working on demonic mode. quick tip: if you land the slash (blue version), chara will slow down considerably. since the cooldowns are so fast on easy mode, you can keep chara slow the whole round while you're spamming all of asgore's attacks. edit: just beat demonic mode too. edit (again): looks like blue attacks in general slow chara down. maybe that will help with papyrus? edit (again again): just beat demonic mode as papyrus. slowing chara down really does help a lot.

I find it funny how Woloned stated he'd make 1.6.1 either at the start of July or start of August, and he spent an entire month and a half just making bugfix patches for 1.6, up to 1.6.0.8, and I barely even mentioned half the bugs I had encountered.
As shown in the video, I have contact with Woloned and I get frequent news. Because of the number of things that came in his way, he openly decided to skip straight to making another large update, that being 1.7. I'll explain all that when I make the 1.7 review video, but according to Woloned, that may not be until New Year.
Tbh, I hate the newer update it makes the sans campaign more challenging but it was already balanced for others. Soo. Some characters are either impossible to unlock or impossible to complete it's campaign I'm speaking from my experience, note I'm not a bonetale player anymore (I'm more of a roblox undertale player)
I know you already defeated hate chara but heres another way you may be able to defeat them in the newest version... Go to character creation pick [SUPER COOL MEGA POSE] for a normal button for example x then pick dash for x max and if you hold it while standing you will get super fast and be stuck in the left side of the room but youll be invincible but if you pick [fast slashes] (one of asgors abilitys) and use it while your stuck and go in any direction you will be free invincible and looking like a ghost (youll see what i mean when you use it:) and remember you shouldnt move while you using the dash and pose ability because it will be like a short teleport and it gets you out of the invincible mode altough it takes a few sec and you should stand still you may be able to defeat hate chara with it by speeding up or something ?...idont really know man (but dont get me wrong im not saying go through all that pain again im saying try it on any level you want its your choice i just said it because is a cool bug it maybe easier to defeat hate chara with this bug but im not forcing anyone to do it i might try it my self) So yeah thats all:)id appreciate it if you did spend your time reading this comment:] (btw dude you your videos are awesome keep it up and you really attract the undertale fandom with that video XD)
That's actually a smart idea all things considered, though I spent 9 hours just to encounter this three times, I don't think I'll be doing that again until further notice...but when I showed Woloned how I defeated it, he said I had inspired him, and all I can say is chances are he's gonna make it even scarier and more impossible, haha.

The chances (from what I know) are 1/1200. With Sans, I got her in 15 minutes. With Flowey, I got her in 3 hours. If not for the randomness and luck of it, I would've had this video done sooner, because trying to encounter Hate Chara took longer than anything I did in the custom character maker.

Hate Chara originally traces back to Glitchtale Season 1 Episodes 3-5 (I personally do not like Glitchtale, but I don't discourage watching if you need context of this Chara form). I never asked Woloned the origin of this, however, I don't believe it's intentionally Hate Chara, especially in terms of what happens in-game. The video that originally showed this secret called it that, so the Bonetale community collectively agreed that's what it was. From what I know, this is just a rare Easter egg designed to jumpscare and kill you with no hopes of fighting back, unless you're a lunatic like me.
Papyrus is actually possible u needed to use bone trap wait a bit then use dodge do it untill she transforms into chara run and when shes low Just spam bones to the wall on all ways

Btw I made murder sans he is op and balanced. All you need is asgore and change the fireball effect into bones or sharp bones. Base stats are : 150 HP, 90 Power, 4 DMG, 40 Speed. Attacks : 1 : bone 2 : fireballs (fireballs hand if charged) 3 : circle blaster (gaster blaster if charged) 4 : teleport (time stop if charged) 5 : fireball wave (fireball circle if charged) Now into passives. Buffs : Karma, Rest (the base rest) Debuffs : Snail, No Mercy. The character is so good that I basically beated demonic mode easily.
Disbelief Papyrus was disabled in 1.6, as Woloned was either trying to mini rework or bugfix him. At one point in the video, I equip him in 1.5 and jump back. He's fully playable, but you can't move.

Papyrus is actually possible u needed to use bone trap wait a bit then use dodge do it untill she transforms into chara run and when shes low Just spam bones to the wall on all ways
I also beat the campaign with every character in like 2 to 3 tries but asgore man it took me like 5 to 7 tries to beat demonic(on easy mode 💀💀)
Try getting infinite max hp by going over the limit in the custom character thing ps thought i was in the video cuz there was another tnt guy commenter near the end
You take less damage with asgore when you use the trident ability, it almost nullifies the damage

Btw I made murder sans he is op and balanced.
All you need is asgore and change the fireball effect into bones or sharp bones.
Base stats are : 150 HP, 90 Power, 4 DMG, 40 Speed.
Attacks :
1 : bone
2 : fireballs (fireballs hand if charged)
3 : circle blaster (gaster blaster if charged)
4 : teleport (time stop if charged)
5 : fireball wave (fireball circle if charged)
Now into passives.
Buffs : Karma, Rest (the base rest)
Debuffs : Snail, No Mercy.
The character is so good that I basically beated demonic mode easily.
just use 20 blue bones vertical bounce and telekinesis

Where is disbelief papyrus?
Disbelief Papyrus was disabled in 1.6, as Woloned was either trying to mini rework or bugfix him. At one point in the video, I equip him in 1.5 and jump back. He's fully playable, but you can't move.

I really don't believe I did, like my dash lagging and one shotting Phase 1 Chara in the Frisk campaign, I think something similar happened. Quite frankly, I wasn't expecting Hate Chara to be killable in the first place.
