Great job man I am so surprised the barrel didn’t burst in flames! Subscribed and hit the bell👌
Love the look of the zinc with the hammer!

Zinc has a low melting point and is very nice to cast with, I'll be making more small Zinc castings in the near future. Thanks for watching!

Very Nice. I turned out really good. I have printed out an actual Size Molnar, I'm gonna cast it one day, gonna need a bigger crucible and furnace to do it. I did manage to do the Medieval Version in about 3 casts, Totaling 14lbs.

Fish ingots? maybe next time 😋 the strap I did not expect to form, nor did I need it, was thinking to add a leather strap but that will be done when I make even better versions 👍

G'day Ralph I was just curious what you using for the mould release on the sand?

  • @BackseatGorilla

Ralph, you have some serious skills man. I have been dabbling in casting and carving and the like for years! Some of my favorite segments of Mythbusters involve mold making, and of course everything in the Haunted House industry (which i work in as well) is cast and molded for the most part. I cannot help but notice your MegaDrive collections as well. Also, is that a stack of vinyl under your shelf? Thank you for the amazing view from the artists eyes. Sean

It's a stack of old magazines to replace the Lord of the Rings books I had under there before 😋👍 sadly I don't own any vinyl. thanks for watching 👊👍
