Honestly, I think you have seen more of Denmark in your time here than I have in my 30 years here haha, I actually started to use your channel for ideas where to go in my own country. A little bit oxymoronic 😁

Beds and comfort are to be found at Roskilde! and no age is too old!
You go for the music and the atmosphere ⭐🎶 Ragnarock is cool and even better, the older you are!
A very nostalgic visit for me 😉

The festival is also a big thing alot of people have gone to it year after year. I spent every year there for 10 years when I was younger. It is a great experience. Great video guys.

Ragnarock is a great museum to show the newer cultural history of Denmark and how much influence America has had on it.

Great that you went to RagnaRock. It's not a rock museum though, it's a museum for youth culture. I have 2 items on the permanent exhibit there as I designed both the Boominator and the SoundBoks. And basically every single one of the large sound systems on the camping grounds at Roskilde Festival are based on my ideas for how to be able to have loud music with minimal power usage.
And on the getting too old for Roskilde. Bah, you're both puppies :D The average age in my camp is about 48. And let me just clarify, there are no portaloos at Roskilde Festival anymore. They are all regular flush toilets now and there's plenty of showers. For us "old folks" there's even a special Silent and Clean camp area where you're not allowed to play music between 10PM and 10AM. Nor is your camp allowed to have trash lying around. Both are strictly regulated and enforced.
Honestly though, most in our camp don't go for the music so much anymore but we're 12-15 people that more or less only see eachother that one week of the year because we live in different cities and countries. One thing I could not imagine missing is the Food Court tour, and you just can't do that in one day. The Food Court is an area with about 16 food stalls, all run by Michelin star restaurant chefs. The price is capped and everything is at least 80% organic. We make a point of trying everything in there each year, and also the small gourment food stalls strewed around the festival area.

I can only recommend Roskilde Festival. I went there 10 years in a row in my younger years. Now i'm also too old to stay the whole week. It's impossible to explain the feeling. But apart from the music, there is a ton of art, cool people of all kinds of society. And plenty of opportunity to socialize with random people :) Oh... And the food!

There is family camping and caravan camping at Roskilde festival. At least when I use to go. I still go to festivals, just swapped Roskilde festival with Copenhell Metal and Rock Festival.

We used to go to more festivals, in 2019 we went to a ton. But we never camp, except at Tønder as it is so far from everything else it's really the only way to make it work.

23 years in a row as guest on the Roskilde Festival... I am allmost 40 and I have spent all week in a tent every year! I'll never be too old to be drunk, relaxed and friendly while watching the best performers from around the world... certain parts of this museum feels very much like home. :)
-I bought the little black keychain leather heart last time i was there, I have it on the set of keys for my Suzuki Chopper MC...

Btw, just remembered. Since you're from Chicago do you know one of the most important record labels out there? The migthy Wax Trax was a little Chicago shop that became as important as CBGBs in the 80's. Must have had a lot of US vinyls from Wax Trax over the years. Could be 50 or more..

It was my first time and currently has my favorite painting about the Dannebrog falling from the sky, so for that reason alone I loved it. But as a whole, the building and the cafe are fantastic. I reach my saturation point with art pretty quick since I am not an art historian or anything, so I will need to go back a few more times to be able to really take it all in.

Ragnarok is not a festival but the end of the universe, followed by the fimbul winter (eternal darkness and freezing cold), not to be celebrated....the universe WILL burn out and implode, not even Loke nor Fenris would wish for ragnarok!!!
