You need one of Totally Tiffany - 'Rotating Design Board - Large'...I have multiple for many other uses than art work...I even use them on top of my drawers, next to my desk, to put two 'Die and Stamp Organizers' back to back so they swivel around. Have one on my desktop to spin another crafting storage container...
Thanks for sharing these great tips and tricks.Love your work,im just getting into mixed media, and want t do vibrant colours, which u create,So mindful especially when using bright colours,Keep safe and well from Leeds UK
Thany you, Dyan, great lesson. I learned a lot. Can those blending foams be salvaged after using paint, or are they goners? I'll miss the jars. But a lower price point is good too.
It's a lower price and HALF as much product AND less opaque. Isn't the point to cover up what you are painting over? Like with the black you don't want stuff from the back showing through you want a solid black like a chalkboard to doodle on. Seems to me with the jars you can reach inside them and get every last bit out, and that's never really true with bottles. Shampoo, toothpaste, salad dressing, mustard. It's really hard to get every bit out. Acrylic paints are supposed to be opaque. I can see using it very lightly if that is the effect you are going for, but you should still be able to make it opaque. I wanted to get some of her paints now I'm not so sure. Little 1 oz bottles would probably fit in my other organizer that holds 1 oz bottles of Folk Art and other standard sizes though. Plus you can use an empty jar for something else, paper clips, brads, buttons, bits of ephemera, stickers and so on.
Thank you very much to share this ! That was really very instructive AND beautiful ! But where do I find the tool (looks like a stamp) to use on the stencils ? And which paint fits best ? Acryl or...?
Struggling to get hold of any of your stencils - where are they stocked for people in the UK to buy please - would really like the big doodling stencils?
Hi Lisa! Dyan said in one of her videos that stores may continue to have the jars available for some time but going forward they will be manufactured in the bottles only. Hope this helps!
It's probably a non stick oven liner, they are pretty inexpensive and nothing at all sticks to them. They are really big too, I have one on my craft table, super easy to wipe off, even glue
Hi Firdaws 😀 We are currently shipping to Belgium and you can find all of Dyan's fabulous supplies here: www.scrapbook.com/store/designer/dyan+reaveley.html?o=9

I'll miss the jars. But a lower price point is good too.
Hi Kirsten! If you wash them out immediately after use with some gentle dish soap and water, they should be good to go for additional use!

@@recoveringsoul755 I'm beginning to understand sometimes we want opaque or translucent, depending on what we doing ☺

What is the placemat thing where she's putting her paint? It looks like it minimizes messes!

Dear art journalers and mixed media makers ,Please dont use baby wipes, it absorbs too much of that beautiful paint! 🤗😆
