I’ve watched your videos so often with my 4 year old that as I put something in my instant pot the other day he said ‘sealing, not venting’ in the same way you do! LOL!
Kim Baggett that is the cutest! I wish more people were aware that their kids do pay attention to what their parents say and do! Sounds like you’re teaching him valuable life lessons. I went to culinary school but only one of my three like to help with cooking and sadly she’s away at university. She does help cook when she comes home.
So cute!
Publish a cookbook with your recipies. You cook like I do. Simple is always best! I want to be first in line! Love your recipies. IP still in box but now how courage. Have far too many acacessories. You will get me through this.Am 70 and cooking for ond. Got bunches of food prep sectioned. Stay with me! !I've you all!
I just got my instant pot duo 6qt yesterday. I found this video & made the chicken & potato soup into chicken noodle soup. I used 2 chicken breasts (they looked larger than yours, plenty of meat), didn’t have potatoes so used 3 cans of mixed vegetables, then decided to use spiral pasta. I cooked the frozen chicken first (25 minutes), added the veggies, broth, spices and pasta and cooked it for 6 minutes. Shredded the chicken & I’m done. Faster than the crock pot & extremely tasty. Love how my house smells. Definitely subscribed. Can’t wait to try more. Thank you!
Love the idea of freezing it in the jug to fit in the pot.
Love this compilation of easy recipes! Thank you girl!
Yummy. Everything looks delicious. I love quick and easy crockpot meals.
I just received an instant pot for Christmas...was looking for some recipes and I ran across your channel can't wait to try some of these recipes 😊
So many great recipes to try. I love the dump and go there great.
You helped me so much with my Instant Pot! Thank you, thank you!!! I’m not afraid of it anymore and I’ve been successful! Anxious to try more of your recipes. BTW I love your voice and presentation! Pot Roast was the best ever! I’ve made many Pot Roasts in my years and this is by far the most tender and tasty.
This was simple, straightforward, and inspiring. Thank you!
I'm so glad I found you! I love the tip about how to put the bag into a pitcher. My daughter will love the mac n cheese. I've been having trouble with my taco soup recipe. I can't wait to try all these recipes!
That taco soup is one of my favorites!
Last time I made the Mac and cheese we had leftovers. I reheated scoops of the macaroni with my waffle iron- OH MY GOODNESS! Cheesy toasty brown chewy deliciousness
Kym Schoeff sounds delicious!
I bought my instant pot on amzn.to/2JDYuBa
you have to check it!
Barismail they are $49 bucks right now for 6 qt.
that is brilliant !
Jade Bell what is the link? We bought an 8 quart because the six quart we found on on Amazon cyber Monday or whatever day was a similar price we may have got the 6 quart otherwise. Although I think my husband is think of whole turkeys and chickens while I’m thinking of everyday...
Made the taco soup yesterday and my dad loved it! It is also the very first thing I cooked in my Instant Pot. Thank you so much for posting! 😁
LOVE your videos!! Our daughter bought me one this year for Mother's Day!!! Learning so much from you!! Thank you! :-) It's been fun copying your recipes, etc. down. Just went to the store after church & bought some ingredients to make delicious stuff!!!

I have just recently been watching your videos! I love them!! 💜
Hi Kristen! New to IP and to your channel and so glad I found both! You have helped me get over the fear of the unknown with the pot and I am using it so often now. It's amazing and so are you - thank you!
Looks SO GOOD!
They all look wonderful! Thanks Kristen!
Thanks so much!!!
I love these recipes!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thumbs up! Perfect Fall recipes! TFS!
FANTASTIC!!!
I tried ,your hard boiled eggs in my pressure cooker. They are great. I am hooked and subscribed today. Keep up the good work. Thanks
Love your simple instantpot meals. They are recipes I have made before and forgot about them. Especially the taco soup. I have actually made that same recipe and added hidden valley dry ranch salad dressing mix in it. Thanks for all your ideas. Love your show.
Thank you so much!!!!!
@@SixSistersStuff You are welcome 😊
Your meals look so awesome. We are going to try one today and another tomorrow.
Thank you six sisters 👏
Thanks I love all the recipes I’ll make them this week, I already joined the group ❤️❤️❤️🙂
Thanks for sharing all of your recipes and I finally put my Instant Pot 3 qt pot to use and boiled some eggs and they came out perfectly and I will try the mac & cheese recipe next and use the manual setting to get the dish cooked and see how it turns out. I will also try the stew in the instant pot as well and see how it turns out. You have helped me so much and I learned from others as well and I love cooking so much and do it most of the time because I don't like eating out that much.
Instant Pot is a perfect stuff 😍😍😍
I'm going to be making these soon! Especially the Mac n cheese!
Wow, what’s old is new again👍🏻 I’ve made a similar taco soup for years and the IP has made it even faster. For my husband I delete the chicken and add a can or two of beef chili, no beans because there is already beans in the recipe. Have an awesome week😁
Great tip for the ziploc bag in the pitcher!
Thank you girl you rock!
Love the pitcher suggestion for frozen to instant pot! Thanks
Love your videos! Hope the new house is going well. Just did your chicken and potato soup the other day with a couple of twists. Instead of a bag of carrots, I used a 16 oz bag of frozen peas and carrots since the chicken was frozen too. Then, after the quick release, I set the IP to saute and added a cornstarch slurry to thicken the broth. Not much, just a couple spoons mixed with water. So yummy, the wife ate two bowls and she never eats more than one!
I made mom's beef stew w/lipton onion soup mix. My goodness, was it the best I've ever had! Thanks for the recipe Christen.
That is awesome!
I made the chicken and potato soup last night. Super easy and very tasty. Thanks for the recipe.
This is fun to watch
Love your recipes!!!! I love my IP and you’ve made it even easier to use!! Thank you!!!
Glad you like them!
What did we ever do without our Instant Pots?? I'm Thankful For Mine & Your Videos Kristen!! I Learned Alot of New Things Today!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Lana! Hope you have a great day!
Thank you l needed to see this segment. I bought an instant pot and very afraid of pressure cooking but this appears easy. I have frozen chicken breast so I'm going to try my pot today. I think l can do it. Thank you so much Six Sisters!
Awesome recipes!
I’m needing emergency surgery on Wednesday so I could really use some quick ad easy ideas where I could Pre-fix or easily fix afternoons for supper. My mom is finicky and doesn’t like pasta or rice but loves enchiladas pinto beans and tacos. Have freezers full of frozen chicken an TV dinners.
Any help suggestions? Appreciate any help given.
Thank you in advance.
Will try the taco soup n the mac n cheese
I love that you can hear their kids in the background! It is just cool to see a real person making videos. Like oldschool youtube
Looks yummy 👍🏾
LOVE the chicken potato veggie soup.
I only use garlic powder and salt. I'm thinking of trying a variation using beef stock and a steak, cut up. Goes great with rice for a nice way to start the day.
For the recipes with chicken I have found the Tyson rotisserie chicken strips in the cooler section to be wonderful. It’s already cooked and seasoned and if you get it when it’s on sale you can pop it in the freezer before the best by date.
Thanks for sharing these recipes. I am new to Instant Pot meals, so I appreciate videos. I have several cook books, but like to see you making a dish. Autumn is a good time of the year to try out this gadget! Today was errand running day, so the slow cooker was my helper :-). Sorry I don't go on Face Book , but will follow your channel.
New to insta pot
Love your videos👏
Just finished my first IP meal. I cook the beef stew meal. I did a couple of steps that I always do when cooking meat in a stew or soup. I browned the meat(I used well-trimmed beef chuck roast), after coating it with seasoned flour. I used 1 cup of beef broth and 1 cup of red wine. The stew was delicious, but the meat and veggies were cooked softer than my preference. I will try 25mins next time instead of 30 mins. I will make the dish again. My wife also likes it very much.
I agree with you about browning the meat. It improves the flavor of the dish and looks much more appetizing.
You need corn and green beans and diced tomatoes in the beef stew! It makes it so much yummier too! Sometimes I throw in a carton of button mushrooms in the last few mins. Mushrooms have so many great health benefits too!
Our 1st meal with our new Instapot was your beef stew and it was a giant hit! Thank you! Subscribed (-:
The rice is so delicous and the meat is very soft and save time and money.
Great set of recipes family coming this weekend, Thanks !
I've never done ketchup on stew, but we always put mashed potatoes on top of our chicken noodle soup. Just a big scoop right on top of your bowl of soup. It melts into the soup and is so yummy.
When I want to remove air from my meal bags, I just you a straw. Slide the bag to almost closed and insert a straw and draw the air out. Works every time for me and I can freeze the bags piled up flat.
Sorry, it should read "use a straw". My Lyme brain acting up again😕
Peggy Higgins I have a Lyme brain too. Hugs and prayers
Nice!
Years ago a friend posted her dads recipe for stew.. almost the same except he adds barbecue sauce and mozzarella at the end!! They have this stand up thing for freezer meal prep that makes it easy too... I need to look on amazon
Hi Kristin, Wow, these are some fantastic recipes. That mac and cheese looks awesome and the chicken one too. Actually, they all are awesome. Thanks dearheart. Enjoy time with your wonderful sisters. How's your house coming along? Take care. Claudia
For the taco soup I do real chicken not canned and Rotel in place or diced tomatoes. It can be slow cooker or instant pot it's so good.
I’d put in a packet of instant gravy mix with the stew. It adds lots of flavor!
Chris Richter I’ve done that for many years whenever I make stew or pot roast. It makes such a difference that’s always perfectly seasoned.
The mac and cheese is a big favorite. I think it was the first one I tried from you. :) I'm glad to see it again, especially for new folks that might not have caught it the other time. The only things I do differently: I use shells (they scoop up the cheese) and I use a lot more cheese (3 cups). Oh, and I add a palm full of dried green onions that I crush as I'm stirring them in with the garlic, in place of the parsley.
Thanks for sharing. I love this episode because you use more natural scratch ingredients. Can you share more of natural recipes like this than using premade or processed food in the future?
Cant wait for more winter IP recipes
Right? Thanksgiving ones are coming! I can't wait!!!
@@SixSistersStuff I can't wait. Love the Holiday recipes, soups, etc.... thanks for taking time to give us recipes. Love em😘
Hi..I'm kind of new to the instant pot. Do you think you could add some rice to the taco soup? If so, if 1 cup of rice, would you add 2 cups of extra liquid? These recipes are awesome...& everyone will think you worked all day in the kitchen! Thanks for all the recipes!!
Ketchup?! I never thought of that for stew and it sounds yummy! Lol. I will have to try that next time I have stew.
Elissa Casey I usually add a can of tomato sauce to my stew so I can understand the ketchup thing!
We shop in the same grocery stores, buy the same brands and even have the exact same cutting mats! Wow!
I have the same measuring cups. I've had them for over six years and they look/work like brand new, I love them!
Love the bag in the jug tip! I wonder if we can get enchilada sauce way up here in Canada. I do buy a thin taco sauce. I wonder if that would work.
These recipes look great. I would like to try the chicken and potato recipe with sweet potatoes or yams instead of red potatoes. Should I adjust the time, next time. Also, I used Goya Seasoning, instead. I cannot wait to try the Taco Soup.
Love the videos! But how do you recommend thawing and heating the frozen soups?
The stew looks AMAZING! How much beef do I add? 🤔
I was wondering how much Beef she adds to the Stew too. ??? Any response from SSS?
Love the sound of these recipes. Did you use a 6 or 8 quart IP for the Chicken & Potatoe Soup?
Great recipes for a newbie to Instant Pot. I have a question about preparing the uncooked ingredients for the taco soup. Once all the ingredients are put into a freezer bag and frozen, what pressure and how long do you cook the frozen ingredients?
Thanks for the recipes. Please look into reusable containers for freezing meals instead of ziplock bags.
What size are you using? I just got a 3qt and love these recipes, but need to adjust accordingly :) Love your channel!
Leaving clean skins on is also healthy is that they're full of vitamin C. 😊
Gizzy Speaks and pesticides unfortunately.
On your mac n cheese, I've heard that it's better to use freshly grated cheese vs. prepackaged shredded cheese so it doesnt end up stringy. Would you agree?!
I shop at Kroger too! Love that Mac & Cheese! I’ll be adding hotdogs!
Kroger is definitely my favorite store! 👍🏾👍🏾
I'll be adding kielbasa.
I think that some fresh minced garlic would be tasty along with Ketchup to the pot too.
What brand of meal prep containers are you using for storing food?
I am brand new to the Instant Pot - just bought one. Learning by watching your videos because the booklet that came with it does not give much info. I do have a questions: Do you keep your pressure level on High? My pot has two levels, low/normal & high.
When you buy those cartons of broth, it's best to buy stock instead. It's much tastier! I accidentally got one of each one year when making the Thanksgiving Dressing. That's how I discovered the difference. The stock is so so much better!
It's just based on preference
The recipe on your website for beef stew doesn't match this one #4 and the website recipe includes two cans of cream of mushroom soup and a can of tomato sauce. I'm a little confused. Also, showed dumping the beef into the IP but you didn't mention it in the list of ingredients in the video.
Where did you get your spoon measure at 1:30? It's so cute
How long would you ip the chicken recipe if the chicken wasn’t frozen? Thanks so much! These seem simple and I love simple! Lol
Use stock instead of water for a Mac n cheese for much more flavour. And try mixing 2-3 cheeses for deeper layers of flavour.
Have you ever used dry mustard in your ma and cheese? I use one or two teaspoons of dry mustard, mix in. I think it is a game changer! Everyone always loves my Mac and cheese.
What size Instant Pot were you using for the recipes?
Does anyone know if you have to change the amount of water for the macaroni if you are using the 8qt. Instant pot? Thanks in advance!
I just bought an instant pot duo evo plus. Everytime I try to make this it just stays on pre heating :/
Can you do a recipe with Kielbasa? You know those ring things from Hillshire Farms? I have one of those sausages and I know ONE recipe and that is just steaming it on the stovetop and eating it with bread--The End. I could really use some ideas!
for the soups do press the soup button or just use the pressure cook button??
The link for the PC stew is for a slow cooker?
For the third recipe, how long would you put it in if you don’t use frozen chicken?
I cannot find your Instant Pot group! The link won't work for me. 😭
I will try ketchup on stew soon
