That is such a great question! I always store mine laying on the sides. But now that you asked this, we will contact Sharpie to see what they say! I'll post their reply as soon as I get it. ♥
Hi Mr.Swag! Hmmmm that is a good question and we never tried these on leather. But we can certainly find out for you! Once we get an answer we will post it right here for you kk. ♥
This was a great video! Do you know what the finest point paint pen there is? I'm trying to outline something on a plastic Easter egg which I already painted with acrlic. Ultra fine sharpie doesn't flow and fine sharpie flows but is too thick I saw thought of paint pens.
@@DIYCraftClub Yes but I also noticed that it's actually red when written on paper, but I use to paint my tire letters & it looks pink so maybe it's because it's rubber, I'm just not sure
Hi Bling Sting! Yes, I've used these on canvas but if the canvas has lots of tooth they won't glide totally smooth. I've used these on gessoed canvas and they work fine but not really for small lines and detailed work. For medium linework, they work great! On a side note, I haven't varnished over them so I'm not sure if they will smudge. It's on my list to try though so if I do, I'll give you an update on that. Hope that helps! - Shawna (Creative Director)
@@USNAV I'm going to put that on my list of things to do because after reading your comment I think a video if these work on canvas and if they can be varnished would be super helpful! Have a great day!
Thanks for the help! I thought mine was literally broken
So glad you found it helpful!
Same lol
this really helped,,, I did not know what I was doing .
Thanks!!! So glad this helped :)
Agreed
Thanks for the video! That wine glass customization is brilliant!
Thanks for watching. Hope it is helpful. :)
Keep watch because I'm going to be uploading a video just on wine glass ideas! - Shawna (Creative Director)
Yay thank you your setup instructions helped immensely, I would have been so frustrated had I not come across this video lol
Wow thank you Karsyn! Have you tried these before?
DIY Craft Club I had not before this video! I was looking to write on glass and came across these as an option :) they have been great so far!
This helped so much! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
How do you store them after they have been primed? Top / cap up or down?

Good morning, @DIY Craft Club. Did you hear back from Sharpie yet?
@@dsandel71 Hi Rusty! Not yet but I will the moment they get back to us!
@@DIYCraftClub Hello! Have they said yet?
New subbie! We love art too 😍
Thanks for subbing!
Can you overlay waterbased permanent marker inks on waterbased paint?
It might make them smear so probably best to do some testing first. Thanks!
Will they work on leather shoes

DIY Craft Club soo?
Do you know how to set the oil based sharpie ink on copper mugs?
Hi there, sorry we have never done that before. But if we do try that we'll let you know ok. Thanks for being here :)
Can we use linseed oil inside brush pen instead of water and use oil paints? Comment please
I got a white one for one of my favorite voice actors to sign my black t shirt at a con next year in summer
Sounds fun!

Hi Matthew, not sure but we can try to find out! If we do, we will post the answer right here ok. Thanks!
Cool! So far the finest I've seen is .7mm
Could these be used to customise action figures e.g. Marvel Legends?
They will write on anything but they are water based and are not permanent FYI. Thanks!
Thanks. Do you know of any pens like this that would work on figures (and be permanent)?
Can I use on shoe customizing?
Not sure! Hopefully someone who has done that can let you know if it works!
Yes
can we able to rite on wood with this pens plz help
Yes, they will write on wood.
@@DIYCraftClub thank you for ur rpy its means a lot for me
Can you buy these at walmart or meijer
Walmart does carry them but Amazon is a better price.
The red Rouge is actually pink with the oil based marker why is that?
Yes is does look a bit pinkish doesn't it.

@@DIYCraftClub oh great! Yes good idea!!
Can I use this for graffiti ??
Not sure about that sorry. If we find out that answer, will update!
Could you show using paint markers on wooden earrings? :)
We will put that on our list for a possible future tutorial. Thanks for being here with us! ♥
Question no one can answers: Can it be used
on notebook paper or post-it???
Yes, they can be used on almost any surface. Thin paper might have some bleed through though.
It is very nice think you for this vidéo I am Algérien🥥🙂
Aw thanks for your nice comment! Welcome to our channel :)
Can I remove it from a car window?
We have removed it from glass easily.
All we want to know is how to use them. Toooooooooooooooooooooo much chatter.
Thanks for your comment. Sorry about the chatter 😢😭
These paint pens suck. First time use is fine, but trying to get them to ever work again after being stored for a while is a waste of time.
Aw that's too bad. We use them all the time even after being stored. Are you storing them horizontally? You might have to re-prime them. O
@@DIYCraftClub I am using the Sliver, Fine, Oil and run into the sam problem. Paint initially pours out and stops as soon as the writing starts.
