Glad you liked it. Yes I missed to talk about it. I get 14-15 kmpl in city depending on the traffic. One can easily get this by maintaining a constant speed which I do by using Cruise within city. Maintaining a single speed activates ACT (Active Cylinder Technology) which drives the car in 2 cylinder mode, thus giving you good economy.
Yes B2B its not possible. I think minimum speed for CC is not 40 for Virtus instead it is 25. Even in city there can some stretches where you can use CC which improves your overall economy.
Gulshan Ji, Mine is Virtus GT Edge Limited Collection (Deep Black Pearl). Both are same car except a small difference. GT Plus is available directly from Showroom (Offline) and you may get that sooner depending on the dealership. It is available in Red, Yellow, Blue, Silver and Grey. GT Edge is only available via online booking and it is available in Deep Black Pearl (Gloss) and Matte Grey colour. So basically you have to choose which colour you want to opt.
Well there are three reason I didn’t consider 1.0. First, 1.0 gives a little lesser mileage than 1.5 due to non existent of ACT. Secondly, the acceleration from the standstill as soon as you leave the brakes is faster than I expected while the 1.5 accelerates little slowly. And lastly, I felt 1.0 is lighter in weight than 1.5 in driving which gave me little less confidence during high speed. So, I would suggest if you are fine with these two aspects you can definitely go for 1.0

I'm not worried about service cost but about monthly running cost.... please suggest if any one using in same condition s how much it might cost me at the end of the month..... I'm more worried about monthly fuel ⛽ expenses Please suggest .... thank u
Hi Shafi, I can help you with this. Assuming the creta diesel is with 1.4 L engine. Then considering Highway Economy as 21 and city economy as 18 your monthly running cost for 3000 KM should be around ₹13.9K. In Virtus GT, if I consider Highway economy as 17 and city as 13, the running cost comes as ₹19.7K. So the running cost will be higher by 5.8K. This is estimated based on my own experience of mileage. You may observe a better economy, hence less difference in running cost. Hope this helps.

Issues with Virtus 1.5: 1. Breakpads- replace every 5-7k 2. Rattling noise, cheap plastic, on dashboard 3. AC not cool enough 4. After sales service- cost 40-50k 5. Top roof is Maruti strong!! 6. Mileage in city- just 2kmpl.
Thank you @DeepakSharma for adding your observations. I can add mine too 1. Breakpad - I have finished 6000 and dint feel the need. Nor did the service advisor recommended yet. 2. Rattling noise - Yes definitely dashboard could be improved 3. My AC is now supercool even at 24 degrees since I got the feature unloocked from “Hot Climate” to “Cold Climate” 4. After sales service - I got the service pack for 4 years. Can only tell once free services are finished. 5. Top Roof - Seemed strong to me. At least better than Maruti 6. Mileage is city is 10+ for me for shorter distances and 13+ for longer distances with AC

I agree 13+ is low since the temp was 43+ and AC was constantly running high for 111 KM when the average speed maintained was 110 Km/h. As I got the AC configured change from Cold Climate to Hot Climate, it certainly did impact on mileage, but during such scorching heat I am happy. I will definitely observe for next 6-7K km. I never sit on back seat I know they are tight but my family never complaint for long distances

Are there any rattling noises in virtus?
Except the handbrake top which sometimes vibrates, I haven’t observed any.
