- Just a quick video on how to get into your bike and where to find the air filter, spark plugs, and even your throttle cables. It is not difficult and most anyone can do it! If you would like further info than what is provided in the info then give me a shout and I will see if I can help you out. As always thank you for your time and please like, subscribe, and comment!
Thanks bro , I done this yesterday to my k3 1000 . Got all the parts for €45 and done it within an hour . A local bike mechanic wanted €250 to do this so glad I came across this video
Thank u. This was absolutely very helpful
Only issue I have is the fact that I don’t have the tools to get those spark plugs out.
I appreciate you taking the time to make this video man!
I love to hate this video sooo much! Great job.
Having everything pre done basically gave me confidence to change out my spark plugs.
My buddy has a r1 and a few of his plugs are partially in a very tough spot to reach. Thank god I have a gsxr1000 :D
Would probably be a good idea to check the gap on the new plugs going in and torque them to manufacturers specifications. I would also recommend an anti seize compound as well.. Thanks for the video 👍
Good tips! thank you.
FYI Your gas tank prop stay will be located under your back seat on the side wall... Good video!
+IceColdBrother Thank you for the knowledge. Thanks for liking the video!
+2wheelTHRILLZ You're so very welcome. Did you find it?
Awesome. If these plugs ever show up in the mail I'll be able to do them.
nice vid! Helps show its not as difficult as one would think to replace spark plugs, air filter, etc... Save some cash in do it yourself.
Jude J That is my goal.... Hopefully I save someone $200 lol
Great video my brother thank you please make more! Very Helpful!!!
Glad it helped! Going to get back into it. Life is finally slowing a bit lol
Great video wow helps alot
Thanks bro great job on explaining this info
Very useful video! I suspected it was not so difficult to get to the spark plugs. Nice hi-definition image and I liked that you had everything pre-loosened, it makes the video shorter. You may want to speak louder for the next one. Thank you
Glad it helped. I was worried it would be difficult also but when I found out how easy it was I had to share!
Next time I will use a megahorn ;) lol
Not carbs, throttle bodies =) Thanks for the video, I thought it would be way more difficult to do that.
+PooWaffle And now I am a little more mechanically inclined lol thank you.
One other thing to help you out is you can either have fuel injection or carbs. You don't have both. So since the bike is fuel injected we know there are no carbs.
Thx xhardwarex Good info. I am learning as life throws obstacles lol.
2wheelTHRILLZ I don't know everything either. It's little tidbits like this that help me understand easier.
Great video. Im going to open up k7 as well. Ride safe
Hey bruh thanks man👀😎 saving me some💸 💰on my 🏍 🕺🏿
No problem bro. Glad I could help!
Nice video bro, thanks.
appreciate it brother
Thanks
Thank you bro.
Nice vid do u know how to adjust the throttle cable so it's more sensitive? Oh and the name of that part u forgot I'd called coil pads.
jesse Maybe I will make a video soon. Have to replace my clutch cable too :/
Badass
What year is your bike?
EgoCrush 2004
I have a 2004 great your for the gixxers plus 2005
good vid... now I have to pee
Lmao. Only after you said now I have to pee, did I catch why. Lol. The water running in the background
🔴🔴🔴have you checked underneath the seat or in the back mini box? Usually the metal to hold the gas tank up is there...I found mine in there... you barely see it the the whole length is tucked inside the frame 😂😂😂🔴🔴🔴
My coil packs are hard to go back in.... What could this be?
doneay mcnair They need to be pushed pretty firmly to pop back in.
What year is your bike? I have 2001 Gsxr 1000 is it the same process?
Mine is an 04 but each bike is close to the same.
Dose gsxr1000 spark plug and cars spark plug are the same????
I think they are different sizes and I know for sure they are gaped differently. I would google your bike spark plug brand and it will tell you the right size and brand to use. This bikes most recommended was NGK
