Muchas gracias. Como Monitor de tiro con arco, necesitaba una herramienta similar a esta, ya que tengo alumnos que quieren aumentar la potencia de sus arcos. Great! Thanks!

I have it much simpler - let’s say you shoot 50 lb comfortably, but you want to go way up to 70 lb, so here is what you do - get yourself a 70 lb bow - only this. Then start pulling this bow without an arrow - pull with a good form as far as you can, hold 4-5 seconds, release slow, lower the bow and rest 10-15 seconds and repeat that until you feel that you couldn’t do that more than a few reps more. Overall reps count does not matter. Keep the form! Make 5-7 series. If you feel soar on the next day, wait until the sourness is fully gone and one, or even two more days to let the muscles fully repair and over-compensate. This could be 4 day rest for start and when you get stronger your rest could reduce to 2 or even 1 day. With this method I’ve increased my bow weight from 45 to 70 lb over a year and some. Important - before you do that warm your joints well and make 20 reps with a light bow. Do not force yourself to a failure! If at some point you feel yourself weaker than usual get a full week rest. After that you will feel stronger than usual. It is important to rest properly and let the muscles rebound stronger. Take 5 grams creatine every day if you want to accelerate the gains. It is a proven safe suplement with too many positive effects and zero harm. When it comes to a strenght it is good to embrace the good old proven bodybuilding principles - otherwise you are doing something with zero statistical reliability.

@@davidr8309 yeah ... if you mean your comment - absolutely!!! ... Downhill skiers squatting with 200 kilo definitely have not an idea what they are doing as well. It is stupid in any sport to rely on a single specific movement with high reps - you will never reach even close to full potential.

Roughly what you are explaining is increase volume over time. as you shoot more, you will be able to increase your draw weight and have a better physical condition which will enable you to draw heavier limbs.

This is only part of the equation though, and it's extremely flawed at best. Overall weight of the bow will increase aswell over time with adding to the stabilizers since the vast majority starts off with a cheap set.
Buy dumbells and stretchbands instead of a whole set of disposable limbs to go from 30 to 45 (or whatever your goal is), and work it up with general shoulder and upper back workouts.
The problem witch archery is that it is extremely imbalanced witch one side pushing (the bow) and the other pulling (the string), wich will simply lead to stunted growth & you'll plateau rather quickly because of this.
Pullups & pushups work wonders aswell. And when it comes to a pullup bar hanging is pretty great after your daily shooting session.
And when i'ts one of those days where it's rather windy some general core strength would definatly be a great thing to have.
