Such an inspiring video Jane. Lots of food for thought. And wonderful makes. Completing things is a challenge for me too. I need to be more intentional. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity. Hope you had a really lovely weekend. 🌿
I enjoyed your video and beautiful works very much. Inspirational to me to consider more natural looking sewing projects. I have looked out my Flora Celtica book. The chicken embroideries are fun. It is like being with an inspirational, calm and kind friend.
So lovely to see these items all together 😊 I quite like having several WIPs on the go actually, and I do get round to finishing most of them. My next knitting project will be a summer jumper using wool purchased from you and dyed with plants in my garden…very exciting!
completion has been on my mind as well, my bday was end of April and i always do a mental/physical check in on where i am and want to be in life then. you’ve reaffirmed it i’m going to dig out some things and finish them off:)
The travel kit is brilliant - very usefull. The chickens and flowers will make a simple dress much more interesting and fun. I like the idea of setting an intention each month by the moon and reviewing. Mine would have to be finishing things also - I am sorting boxes from a house move. Some things have been in storage so long it is making it easy to sort. But it's not going as fast as I hoped. Bits of paper with 'usefull' quotes, craft projects, recipes and gardening tips are the worst to sort - my bedroom has emptied boxes and piles of paper and books - must finish.
I am terrible at sorting and getting rid of things - maybe not a surprise - I am currently working my way through some fabric which was moved into an inaccessible store c. 2010 - so many treasures, so many things I thought that I had lost . . . . so slow! Good luck! j x
Lovely early watch with morning cuppa for me. Can I ask about your lovely tulip table , I’ve been hankering for one. Originals so expensive and not sure about replicas. Hope you don’t mind me asking, JJ
Hi Jacqueline. This is an original we bought from my brother’s antique shop about twelve years ago. It was certainly not the price that I have seen more recently - it is very sturdy and heavy though, much weightier than the replicas. J x
