What I love about this video is that is shows how truly broken Niklaus is inside. He's this tortured soul who's been rejected by everyone he's every known. Every person who's been there for him has at one point hurt him, and he's had to deal with his parent's endless attempts to murder him. He's not a horrible person; he's just never been given anything but hatred. His father hated him, his mother turned her back on him, his siblings left his side, all he had was his hybrid curse. He thought he had to break it to find family. He thought that if he could have people just like him, he would be whole again. He just didn't know how to be with someone less powerful then him without compelling them. I believe that he's a good person inside.
I hate how everyone thinks he's the bad guy. He's just.. Broken. His mother, and father turned against him die to the soul fact that he turned into a Vampire. He cares so much for his family. Mostly his siblings. He would do anything to protect them, and it's obvious. He knows family comes before love, and I love that about him, and the other originals. They don't let others come between them.

Why do people hate him?????I personally think that a piece of his soul is lost in other words........Broken. The people that he falls in love with for example Camille (R.I.P Camille) she saw something only a few saw...how broken he truly is. She only saw that side of him because he opened up to her. As you know he doesn't open up to just anyone. Klaus and all his siblings have all been wronged in some sort of way and they let the anger out on others , but at least they fight for each other. No matter what, "Always and Forever". I love Klaus and his family I don't care what others think about him and his family. Klaus denies he's broken but deep inside he knows the real truth.Any time someone says that he's broken you should notice the impact, the expression on his face That expression is because he knows that true. Hopefully his daughter will bring out the man he wants to be, the best father he can be for his little Hope.
He's just broken and he wants to be loved and doesn't want people to see his weakness point. He is cheated. And omg when i see him crying my heart hurts
