The panoramic end haul, we all super love!!! I still, always watch your videos in completion, but the end haul panoramic display is just the icing on the cake...like an expensive wedding cake!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
The patina and oxidation on the copper pedestal bowl are beautiful with the cleaning you’ve done so far. I think that by leaving it, you give the buyer the option of keeping as is or cleaning it. I love it as is.
Hi Andi, I love how honest you are and that you don’t pretend to be a know it all, but you actually do! 💯 Your finds are wonderful and thank you for sharing your journey. Love your necklace and that bag!! Agree with the previous comments about leaving the copper patina for the new owner. We have lived through two copper sinks (with kids) and I highly recommend letting people decide what they like on metal finishes. We kept our mid century modern sink shiny copper, and our Spanish Revival sink patina. But if you do want to polish up the copper try Twinkle. 😉 Just a little food for thought for the copper lovers. Thanks for your wonderful insight and videos. I love learning from you and seeing all your hauls! ❤
Thanks for the lovely comment and for cleaning suggestion. I took everyone's advice and have left all the patina on the piece after my first pass. I must say the patina is lovely. It will be interesting to see how it sells!
I am so glad you filmed some of that estate sale!! I wanted to go but had other plans!! Love the brass bird!!❤ Also, love the Village Merchant thanks to you!! Great video!!!
Darling I loved everything ! I love that pillow and the vase and brass bird, I can see the mouth in that wood piece you kept for you ( and the face) that necklace is so cute that leather bag is cool I would sell it at the market….. it’s really pretty
In norway we always clean copper for christmas, shiny copper is part of christmas, tarnished green copper is for outside, inside copper should be cleaned and shiny.
The vase is amazing. I’ve been picking up cloisonné for a while. I watch UA-cam on my tv and now I’m going back and commenting. Love love love your channel and all of your finds!!
Hi Andri, started watching your channel recently and love your content. So many lovely things in your haul that it's hard to pick a favourite. I really loved the cushion and that amazing bag. You should definitely keep it. I'm also a cloisonne fan. Picked a couple of pieces today in London.
Hello from Germany again :o) what a fun day out, thrifting together! I yet have to find fellow thifters for that. I loved the tray at 3:04 - but, for this and in general, the prices you show / they ask are - well, let's say, way above what I would be willing to pay. I love polishing brass and copper (and sterling!) - and would love to learn about your method. I always start with lemon juice - works wonders, is cheap, just wear rubber gloves - and afterwards use brass polish if still neccessary. How do you do it? I love the brass bird! So special!!!! Oh... and that copper bowl! And for that, I found the price really good. Love the patina on that... takes ages to get that. Oh, that brass bowl. So Great. I'm green. Jealous.
Hello!! :) Yes, the prices around where I live are very expensive and resellers have to pay quite a lot for our inventory. Even the thrift stores are pricey. I use mostly Bon Ami (a natural abrasive cleaner) and white vinegar. I hate chemical smells so I avoid the harsh cleaners. Lemons (like you mentioned) and baking soda work really well too! Thanks so much for watching and your lovely comments. :)
I'm actually planning a video on this soon! I use Bon Ami and white vinegar. I hate chemical smells so I only use natural products and they work really well. :)
Amazing finds Andi. I love pedestal bowls... always on the look out, but hardly ever find them here in the UK. I also love copper with the verdigried patina best... not so enamoured with the shiny copper. Id leave as is as to me its most beautiful that way. BTW... I'm so envious of you all in the States having access to estate sales.
I feel strongly about not polishing brass and copper. Too many things people do with so much disregard it’s sickening. Same thing people painting antique furniture just to make a buck. If that’s what people want then they can do it themselves, but I won't do it for them.
Thanks! Yes, I plan to leave the patina on the copper piece for now and see how it does! My inlaws live in the UK so Ive done some sourcing over there and feel like car boots are the closest thing but definitely not a replacement for a full house of treasures!
OMG, that leather crazy 70's bag is soooooooo nostalgic for me! I'm not in the market for it, but thanks for sharing it on the vid -- soooooo evocative! Love your vids!
I found out quite by accident that CLR really cleans copper. It made it rather pink. I was a little skeptical of the colour but the item sold right away.
Tienes ángel chispa eres carismática, además de tu buen gusto 👍, mi inglés no es Perfecto pero te entiendo , me inclino por los colores, llamativos que te gustan 😁🥳
I can verify that Andi did indeed FLY to get that brass bird. HAHAHA! So much fun.
haha yup..... ;)
I love shopping with you because you are so budget conscious and very thoughtful about what you buy it makes you very relatable
The panoramic end haul, we all super love!!! I still, always watch your videos in completion, but the end haul panoramic display is just the icing on the cake...like an expensive wedding cake!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Yay! I will try and do this from now on!
Love the patina on copper! Don’t polish it 😮
Haha I plan to keep the patina for now! :)

Agree! I think I got it to a good place and now will leave for the new owner once it sells. :)
Shiny cooper and brass!
Love the needlepoint pillow
Loved that blue painting and the leather bag!
Thank you! 😊

I like it when u,Andi polish it up the pieces please!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I love patina, but when it comes to brass, I like it shiny!
I am so glad you filmed some of that estate sale!! I wanted to go but had other plans!! Love the brass bird!!❤ Also, love the Village Merchant thanks to you!! Great video!!!
You didn't miss much at that sale - it was so so small! But still fun to say hi to everyone in line.
That day was so much fun! Let’s do it again! 💗💗💗
Yesssssss!!!!!! :)
Darling I loved everything ! I love that pillow and the vase and brass bird, I can see the mouth in that wood piece you kept for you ( and the face) that necklace is so cute that leather bag is cool I would sell it at the market….. it’s really pretty
Yay! It was such a good sourcing day. So very tempted to keep it all like usual haha. ;)

Aww thank you!! Appreciate you taking the time to comment. ;)
Hi In my opinion I don’t think you should shine up any brass or copper. If the buyer wants to clean it up they will! 😊
Cleaning is fine, polishing is what destroys the patina.
I plan to leave the copper patina for now! :) It will be interesting to see how it sells.
Yes Copper is big now, I like brass like you ! Glad I’m not big on the copper I don’t want to collect something else lol

Thank you so much! I decided to keep the bag, it was just too good! The pillow sold last week and I'm already sad to ship it out! Thanks for watching!
I feel like the leather bag is a once in a lifetime find!! I would definitely be keeping!
Agree! I will be keeping for now!
Great haul! My favorite was the brass fish ashtray.
I love it too! It's going to be so hard to part with. ;)

I love how fast you talk!!! The best videos for my Adhd brain! Awesome content!
Haha I just get so excited! ;)
Andi, love your channel! Would love to know how you clean your brass!
I'm actually planning a video on this soon! I use Bon Ami and white vinegar. I hate chemical smells so I only use natural products and they work really well. :)
It’s hard to say what my favorite is….. maybe both paintings!! Nice finds!
I love the paintings too!! Thanks for watching. :)
Love that cloisonné vase! And that small blue painting is awesome!
Thanks! I'm very excited to get the little painting up in a gallery wall.

It really is such a special bag. I grabbed it so fast and plan to keep for now!
Love the bag and necklace.
Thanks - I think I may have to keep the bag... ;)
I loved everything! I’m new to your channel and glad I found you.
Welcome! Thanks for watching. :)
I never strip decades of patina off of brass. I always leave it.
Thanks!! I love that piece too - it's going to be hard to part with.
I found out quite by accident that CLR really cleans copper. It made it rather pink. I was a little skeptical of the colour but the item sold right away.
Good to know! I think I may leave the patina for now and then polish if it doesnt sell.
Thanks for sharing your shopping experience, like the content…
Thanks so much for watching!!
Can confirm that both BFK and Brasso work very well on copper! 😉 I prefer BKF because it doesn’t have that deadly Brasso stink 😂
Thank you! I will have to give BKF a try if I decide to do some more cleaning. :)
I love copper....I think others do too. Hope those pieces do well for you....
Yes, I'm excited to give them a try and switch things up! :)
I wouldn’t polish the copper pieces. Let the new owner choose their style Andi.
Agree! I think I will leave for now and see how they do in my shop. ;)

Aww thank you for your lovely comment! :)
Please do not polish the copper bowl. For the love of all that’s good, don’t do it.
Haha - I think I will keep the copper patina for now. ;)
