Thank you for keeping it real!!!! It makes everyone feel like they’re not so horrible for drowning in to-dos. I love your videos and all the wisdom you share with the UA-cam community! ❤thank you!
As so many other have said - I appreciate your honesty and transparency about your process and experiences. I find it really helpful as someone trying to get into this business. I completely agree about following resellers local to you for trends in your area. I am also in the PNW. You are a delight to watch and learn from!
Andi ☀️ Silly you are doing it all!!! With style & class & love! Pat yourself on the back 🔙 for achieving so much in your life already❤ Thank you for being your sweet honest self ♥️
new listener...enjoying for sure! I'm a huge thrift store shopper (literally, all of my wardrobe) and toying with idea of being a reseller. Thank you for the Q&A. So helpful! My kiddos grown/gone long ago but I worked 40 hr/week for 35+ years with them in daycare/after school care when they were littles...and my sons turned into wonderful adults. You, go, Mom!
Great video, Andi! That cat pitcher is amazing, I’m sure it’ll sell fast (if it hasn’t sold already!) ❤️ Loved the Q&A too, I resonate a lot with what you said, especially the balancing part 😬 We don’t have Bon Ami here in the UK, at least I haven’t seen it, but I use hob cleaner very successfully for cleaning the brass ☺️
Love the Q & A part! I am realizing I spend way too much time and money on trying to clean my brass 😮 so looking forward to a much more simplified method. I seriously don’t know if I could let go of those hangers ~ I would display them as art (especially in a laundry room)! Also, off topic, I bought a pair of electric scissors (you mentioned them in a video quite a ways back) and oh my goodness!!! I had to do my first “make a box” and I ordered those before I dared to attempt it. Now, I have to hide them from hubby. And I really appreciate your honesty about balancing life because I seriously wondered how you did it all and stayed sane ~ now I know and I feel much better about my craziness. I literally was sitting in bed last night doing listings on Etsy.
Thank you so much for this video. Loved the haul and the Q and A. Very helpful. It's clear that you put in a lot of work and as a newbie reseller, it's truly appreciated.
Andi, thank you for this video. I love the Q & A portion and your transparency about balancing it all was lovely. I so appreciate your honesty and all the time you put into these videos.
“Cut throat estate sale” made me giggle. I’m sure it’s very true in your area but in mine no one cares about estate sales. The last one I was at I got an entire box of stuff (including a candelabra) for $45 and they asked me to come back the next day because I was the only one who showed up. However they are harder to find here because no one except expensive collectors know about the websites. You just have to see a sign or a random Facebook post to know one is happening ❤
Great content, a little bit of everything. Your honesty is refreshing and appreciated. Your clothes should always be cleaned though, you can use home dry cleaning for non-washables. :Pro dry-cleaning for delicates, old vintage and couture. Learn something every time too.. Wish more resellers had your class and honesty. Thank you!
Wonderful video!!! Loved it all!!! All segments very informative and helpful!!! U do it all and do it well!!! We are lucky to have u as our teacher!!! Thank u for all that u do!!! I can't say that enough!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I just started my own Etsy shop reselling vintage items but also upcycling glass and ceramics that would otherwise end up in a landfill. I’m also a mother of two boys so it definitely is a challenge to balance it all. I really loved your transparency and everything you said. ❤ What would you say has been the best method for attracting buyers to your Etsy shop?
Yes, about the Etsy traffic question?? Especially because- I really don't forsee myself starting a UA-cam, and I don't do FB... how important do you think all that stuff is for sales ?
Honestly, social media and UA-cam has been a game changer. Anytime I take time off I see a real dip in Etsy sales. I’m planning a marketing video soon.
You are so real, which is why we all love you so much. Question, I do not follow any resellers from where I live, which is a suburb northwest of Chicago. Do you know any resellers in this area on UA-cam?? Following Laura Caldwell, and I love her design and style but I have no luck selling MCM items in my area. I do have luck selling items similar to your items though.
You shouldn't try and sell what others are selling. Especially those with a large social media following. Its unrealistic to think you'll get the sales that the other seller gets. They hv a customer base that will a lot of times pay up just to hv something from a certain seller when they could easily find it cheaper on eBay or elsewhere. You should sell what speaks to you or excites you.
Loved this video Andi! I love that you share your knowledge and experience but most of all your enthusiasm about the items you find. Especially the ones that blow your mind 😂. Never change my dear. You're such an inspiration. ❤🤩
I often tumble textiles (like the velvet pillows) through the dryer on a very low-heat or no-heat cycle with a couple of dryer sheets. Freshens them up nicely--and gets rid of any dust.
Another useful Video. I am UK based so definitely different items that I can source and sell here so have been watching a few UK based bloggers (although many mention you as their inspiration!). Do you research interior trends to see what is likely to be ‘hot’ in the coming seasons?
I am wanting to get started. I have tons of items already but I do not know how to get started doing the videos and what equipment I should invest in to get going. I would greatly appreciate you reaching out to me. I am in the South east of the US. ALABAMA to be specific and the antique mall booth prices are insane so I don’t want to try that route ever again.
So- question about brass bells- it seems like the ones you're sourcing & selling are the little bitty ones. Have you had luck or experience selling other types of brass bells? Like the type with a handle? Because I got a couple "lunch" bells w/handles as part of a "lot" at an estate sale and they also sold quickly on Etsy! So yeah, I guess my point is, was my fast bell sale a coincidence, or is Any type of brass bell hot?
Would love to buy the item with 2 cats for my daughter that rescued 2 Siamese sisters, Emmie & Lillie. Kitties were born in May, emerald birth stone {Emmie}, Lily flower for May. How do I make this purchase?
Your doing great Andi. I tried to subscribe to instagram accts of people in PNW and would ask a question an they never answered or followed me back. If you know of a small booth I can get while I’m in Portland let me know we are going to be there 8 months :( I have to clothes my posh all that time and I have a lot of hard goods:( I’m really frustrated and exhausted I love reselling
Google lens isn’t always accurate for pricing tho, just a tip! It can be listed at $190009 dollars, but if it’s not a sold comp it doesn’t mean it’s worth that much. Big mistake new resellers make. Always look up SOLD comps lol 😂 sorry just had to say that
😂 you crack me up. Your bluntness and honesty is so refreshing. I'm very blunt, so I appreciate you! Those hangers are fantastic!
🤗
The hangers will be great for showcasing clothes. Good impulse!
5:19 Regarding the Flightcraft sweater- Flightcraft is at the Portland international airport. It’s where they do corporate jet maintenance.
Thank you!
Thank you for keeping it real!!!! It makes everyone feel like they’re not so horrible for drowning in to-dos. I love your videos and all the wisdom you share with the UA-cam community! ❤thank you!
Loved your answer to the last question and appreciate the transparency! We’re all out her just doing our best 😅
So true!

You could totally produce cat, bird, and fish art! (How 'bout that charming sardine painting you did! Am I wrong? 😊)

Thx!!

Man sounds like a dream to go to a sale with very few others!
Those coat hangers are fantastic! I've never seen any like that.
Love your content it's interesting. Everyone that I watch is interested in buying different things that's what makes it interesting
Thank you!!
In my first apartment bathroom, I used bamboo hangers like that as towel rods

I love that you are just yourself. ❤
❤ Love your energy and enthusiasm! Thanks for the Q and A, I enjoy how much YOU enjoy the things you like; as a kindred "stuff" person ❤
Oh thank you!
Love the finds and real answers to those qs! ❤😄
I like the shots from different angles and locations.
Loved the Q&A and also the what’s sold .
You are great!!
Yay! Thank you!

@@leanndoolin4284 Oh, I totally understand that. Thanks
One thing I did in my area is start a reseller meetup. We get together and talk shop. You could always consider doing that.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge..love your videos but this was especially great ❤
Thank you!!
Loved this video Andi! I love that you share your knowledge and experience but most of all your enthusiasm about the items you find. Especially the ones that blow your mind 😂. Never change my dear. You're such an inspiration. ❤🤩
Thank you so much!! ☺️
You're the best! I keep saying I'm going to watch your full vlog on brass cleaning. 😊
Love those bamboo hangers
I like all the variety in this video. Thanks!
Hi! Enjoyed hanging with you today! Tfs
Thanks!!
I love the brown cushions! They remind me of chocolate!
Yes! They are so luxe.
You're doing a great job, Andi! Nice episode, love the hangers & the Q & A!
Thank you so much!
😂😂😂Andie !!Tell it girl! It's the TRUTH we do it because we love it and women especially are creating this market ❤❤❤
Haha thank you!!
Actually, I thought it was nice to see another area of your studio space in the background. 😊
I’m going to try and do more variety!

Hey I can see you work hard at what you do. 😊
Google lens’ing a cat figurine or other animal will often bring up the actual animal. Thanks for another great video.
Cat pitcher was AMAZING! Loved it.
I often tumble textiles (like the velvet pillows) through the dryer on a very low-heat or no-heat cycle with a couple of dryer sheets. Freshens them up nicely--and gets rid of any dust.
eww, dryer sheets are stinky, which is what she (and many of us are trying to avoid).
Thanks for the tip! You’re so right the dryer would totally get rid of any dust.
Love watching your videos n all the things u buy
That was awesome, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes! I do a full trend analysis every year. My next video will come out before the holidays.
Flight raft is an aircraft maintenance company in Portland
Love the q and a❤
I liked the new background for a change.
Really liked this video and the honesty! 😊
I'm so glad!

You want to become a reseller or a UA-camr?
So- question about brass bells- it seems like the ones you're sourcing & selling are the little bitty ones. Have you had luck or experience selling other types of brass bells? Good tip on the lunch bells. I’ve never picked One up but now I will!
I would love to get that cat vase! Can you let me know if it's still available?
Would love to see your collections
Coming soon!
Love your videos! ❤️

Still in business

Hi. New to this all. How do you look up Sold comps, please?
Agree, I'll do a wider search in solds if I want an accurate comp!
Lol, balance...😅🤣😂🙂🙃😆
I have been trawling through the internet for uk based resellers and I can’t find any of a similar ilk, does anyone know of any?
Very nice…
Is there hope for any of us? Lol, I need balance.
You shouldn't use Google lens to find 'value.' That is very inaccurate. You need to look at places like eBay solds, Terapeak, etc.
I had to comment this as well lol. Not a good tip. That’s a huge mistake people make
Of course! Google lens is just one piece of the puzzle.
