Your videos are beyond excellent. I just finished an anterior hip replacement with that leg being lengthened to match the other. After two sessions with my surgeon, showing the xrays +" explaining how he was going to accomplish that, I still did understand. I almost feel I shld refer him to your videos so he could give the info to his patients pre-surgery!

Wow, I’m having this surgery on November 6th, 16 days from today, this is the most important video I haven’t seen. Thank you so much for the clear explanation about all the surgery helped me a lot . I’m 75 old lady in need of this. God bless you, Dr.

My previous surgeon did a posterior a year ago just befor he retired. My new surgeon in a new State (we moved) is doing anterior on my other hip. He said my hips are uneven, which might explain my increase in back pain. This was the first time I heard why this might have happened! Thank you! New surgeon will fix it!

I had a left THR done on 4/25 and am EXTREMELY satisfied with it. Yes you need to be mentally and physically ready for this surgery. You remind me of my surgeon and having total confidence with your surgeon is half the battle. He gave me several 8.5x11 pics of my hip (different angles/before and after) to which I found fascinating (I asked for pics lol). The pic he took in the OR is exactly like the one you showed. Thank you for posting this video. I'm sure it will put as LOT of people at ease. I, for one, did a lot of research on my anterior approach to prepare myself as well as tons of questions for my surgeon. God bless you and the work that you do 😁

I really appreciate your newest videos! Perhaps you might do one on how those of us who live out of town can choose you as their hip replacement surgeon or is that not feasible or recommended? Steve in Kettering OH.

I had a compressed femoral nerve and almost total palsey in my quad after direct anterior approach

Oh wow. Was that caused by swelling after surgery or something else? Did you recover from that?
