I tell you what fella , without this video I would have been screwed , no assembly instructions from Howdens In the draw pack , pretty P**S poor from HOWDENS ! You however Legend ! Thanks for getting me over the winning line 👍😀😅
Mate! You saved my sanity. Opened up the box and couldn't believe that there were no instructions. Sat there for ages trying to work it out. Then I watched video. Thanks so much
Excellent I followed your step by step guide video with no problems, as one as already commented Howdens paper instructions were next to useless your a life saver I can't thank you enough.
Unpacked the drawers this afternoon and thought I would need a degree to assemble. It said consult the Howden's kitchen assembly guide. Which I don't have!! Absolute lifesaver. Thank you.
Got almost identical pan drawerbox from wickes and the instructions for the runners are almost non existent. Thanks for this video which amswered all my questions.
Excellent, many thanks for posting this as it told me how to resolve the problem when your fitter used the short screws to put on the drawer fronts. We went in to Howdens but all they could offer was more parts.
Front panel just came off a drawer in my kitchen. Just watched this and realised my kitchen fitters didn't put the drawer together properly. I also believe the _reason_ the front panel came away was because they used the shorter screws. Not quite sure what to do ATM. Seriously looking at Araldite to repair the chipboard and re-make a pilot hole. Thank you for showing me how to get it apart and how to put it together properly. Edit: of the 4 screws on the front panel, 3 of then were the short type. As it was a _repair,_ I decided to use 3.5 x 20mm screws, and as (obviously) the screws in my kitchen are all over the place, I got a box of 200!
this just happened to us, we used some 2 part wood filler in the holes, re-screwed the bracket on and allowed 30 mins for it to set before re-attaching it to the drawer
Good stuff, but in the intro it says you will show us how to adjust...I guess you showed us which screws on the mnechism do it, but I would have like to see it in action. I shall go downstairs now and experment for myself...
Thanks fella, i just got the Howdens kitchen, having loads of problems with the oven tower, which has the door up top and draw on the bottom., had to drill loads of holes so the 2 AEG ovens fit, what a load of rubbish it is, i really regret my purchase from this company, wish i went to Magnets now... £7000 wasted on units only!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. However, if you have a 2 pan drawer and the bottom drawer is not seeming to level up with the cabinet- can you please advise? Do we need to make our own holes for the door fronts for example? Thanks in advance
My units didn't have the machined out holes. Should the runners be matching / same height on both sides of the drawer? I have just measured mine (after installation by a fitter) and the builder seems to have installed them slightly different heights on both sides.
2 of mine are stopping on the return about 1cm out. The soft close seems to only take them that far and then I have to push the rest in. Any ideas why? Is the mechanism too stiff and will loosen?
Thanks for this. Couldn't work out how the rails attached to the fronts, lifesaver!
Life saver. Kitchen fitter had put tiny screws in the door mounts all fell apart. Needed to know how to strip them down. Great video 👏🏼

Thanks Ram. This is everything that’s missing from the Howdens manual!

Great video and watching this as a non carpenter has encouraged me to consider putting these units together myself to save on the installation cost
Great video. Really helped me with assembly. Thanks.
Lifesaver mate - I was trying to figure out how to raise the plinth drawers to take account of new flooring - saved me a right hassle! Ta!

Nice demo of why I use DIY Kitchens or Wren, ready built units that slot straight in, lower cost too, for the customer in terms of parts and labour

Great vid, but how do you remove the drawer from the runners.
Did you manage to find out? Could do with knowing myself!
How do you take the clip out when the doors are loose? Ducking impossible.
So helpful
How do you take the clips out it it’s wrong
I subscribe you channel..
Looks so much better than the crap I just got from Howdens. Seems they have gone downhill.
I've installed these but the drawers are really stiff coming out, why is that?
Runners may not be level or parallel to each other... Maybe
Anyone else at work? 🤣
