    Question. What skincare product is rocking your world right now? It could be a serum, essence, cleanser, toner. Vitamin c etc. And why you love it.

    I guess I've just been lucky on shipping (either that or my standards for Stylevana and yesstyle are very low!) but I ordered from both and got my order in about 3 weeks? I'm so glad you tried the CoxRx serum, I've been wondering about that one. Btw, one of the items I ordered was the Purito soft touch sunscreen and I really like it, so thanks for the rec!

    I don't know if you use body retinols but another Topicals product is their Slather which also has AHAs (lactic and glycolic) and Necessaire's which has mandelic and glycolic. Dr Alexis Stephens did recommend the Topicals Sealed in her short on acne scars.

    Do you have a favorite milky foaming cleanser that isn’t drying? I actually like cetaphil foaming cleanser because it’s not drying and it foams which for some reason I find very satisfying. It is too boring though, I’d like to try a k beauty version with some extra ingredients and fragrance.

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Рік тому +1

      Hmmm you might like the Sioris, although it’s not foaming. It does feel like it cleanses moreso than the Isntree yam root though!

    I have pitted scars (Ice pick and boxcar) on my cheeks and even a few on my forehead. Ive been wanting someone’s opinion on the topicals primer. I don’t wear makeup everyday (I would if I could find a concealer that I could use to just spot conceal but still be thin enough to look like skin and be worn on its own) but love the idea of camouflaging my scars. I’m micro needling and using tret (not in the same week of course) which has helped A TON, but they are still there. It sounds like it may not be the best option for me bc I already have a problem with my skin not absorbing products. Most seem to just lay on top of my skin and never actually penetrate. So I experience a lot of pilling as is. ESP with spf’s. I’ve also been on the hunt for a good tinted spf that isn’t orange 🫠 Thank you for your follow up on all of these products! Def want to try the goopy green serum lol

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Рік тому +2

      Ooh you might like the tower 28 concealer. I admit I’m using that one under my eyes, so I can’t entirely attest to it as a spot treatment but…oh it’s so nice. It reminds me of a more lightweight (and less stinky) Kosas!

    • @gabbiemartin3091
      @gabbiemartin3091 Рік тому +1

      @@AliceintheRabbitHole I’ve been watching reviews on the tower 28 butttttt their range leans very warm so I’m a bit worried. I am fair-light with very cool undertones. I loved the idea of kosas, it was the most blendable, skin like concealer of its time (i did notice and dislike the stickiness) but it was so yellow on me. And I have oily skin which seems to mean that any base products oxidize (not sure if that actually impacts it or not, just my assumption based on others opinions on the same products with diff skin types). I have seen that a lot of people really love the tower28. Maybe I’ll go ahead and pull the trigger on getting it and just make sure i stay within my return window. I’m really terrible at returning things but this one may be worth it! TY for the feedback!

      @@gabbiemartin3091 This is the season of the concealer. Everyone has them. I would suggest you stay away from a tinted sunscreen if you have problems with getting a nice bond on your skin. You have to really build up a lot to get enough coverage an a tinted sunscreen won’t look natural. I’ve had some great success with BoJ Ginseng serum sunscreen. It acts like a primer. I’ve used Missha’s BB over that without pilling.

    I totally agree that shipping has been slow lately! anyway, I am super excited to see your longer term thoughts on the COSRX 6 Peptide Skin Booster. I tried to ask COSRX how much copper peptides was in the serum (I'm assuming not much because of the color), but they did not reply 😅

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Рік тому +5

      Yeahhh very few companies disclose that! I think the catch is that companies have to pay to use the patented complex names (ie Argireline - you can’t say that name on your product without paying the lab who owns its “blend”, even though you can use the peptide itself). And the use levels of the peptides are SUPER low on their own.
      Same old story of we get no ingredient transparency though 😢
