Joseons sunscreen is really the product that gives me the glass skin, but a little less extreme and I'm all here for it. It makes you look so healthy, youthful and alive really
I love your videos and the fact you show the ingredients list in the corner so I can pause and read - I can't consider buying anything without checking the ingredients list first and you save me the extra step - thank you!
Ever since I discovered Beauty of Joseon, I've been completely biased towards them compared the other brands that I've been purchasing. Besides Misha's Time Revolution. My first holy grail was the glow serum, and now the sunscreen. Absolutely in love.
I am obsessed with BOJ! I tried their Revive Serum, Glow Serum, Glow Deep Serum and Ginseng Essence. So far my favorite is the Glow Deep!! It's so brightening, more so than my Vit C 😂
I’ve been using their sunscreen and their dynasty cream and I can 100% recommend those products for people with skin on the dry side. They’re incredible. The gentle plum cleanser and the apricot peeling gel are also great for people with dry/sensitive skin. Just went and bought a bunch more stuff from this brand because i’m loving their products so much.
I'm new to Korean skincare and recently purchased the BOJ sunscreen based off one your videos comparing sunscreen. And I love it!. I have been unable to use sunscreen mineral or chemical around my eyes due to the fact that it would irriate the skin around my eyes. I have been using this around my eyes with no irriation at all! Thank you for your videos! life saver!. I would love to try their eye serum.
Beauty of Joseon is such an underrated brand. They have a lot of amazing products. I love their ginseng line especially the essence water and the revive eye serum.
While I have not yet tried any of BOJ’s products, my yet-to-be-shipped order from Stylevana will be bringing me the products you ranked at number 1 and 2, the eye serum and the sunscreen. I am so excited to try new Korean skincare/sunscreen because in the past year I have fallen in love with almost everything I have tried. Thank you for sharing how and why you would rank some of your favorites.
I fell in love with the BOJ sunscreen! Love that stuff! Would like to try more of their products. Especially intrigued to try the eye cream. I would love to win this giveaway! Thanks for making this interesting video!
The eye serum cream is fantastic! I’ve been using it for 2 months straight with zero irritation. It’s a 0.03% retinaldahyde. I had to calculate the math based on the Korean PPM and came up with that. It’s perfect especially if you use tretinoin so no tret around the eyes. It’s also such a big tube for 1 Oz and cheap you could use it allover your face. Same % as medik8 crystal retinal 3 which is like $88 so the BOJ is a STEAL
I love the sunscreen for when I need more moisture (e.g., winter) and the Skin1004 Hyalu-cica Water-fit for when a lighter texture is desired (e.g., summer). I like the iUnik Centella for the changing seasons. I wish I could use more of the BoJ products, but I use all I can and love them.
I LOVE the cleansing balm! I don’t warm it first. I let it warm on my face. It’s amazing! I too have dry skin. As for the ginseng toner, this is the only one that doesnt break my face out. I paid a lot of money for the Donginbi 1899 essence but ended up throwing it away because of breakouts. Everyone’s skin is different but these have been my experiences.
The BOJ sunscreen is my favorite of all times!! I ordered the eye serum a month ago. Still waiting for it to be delivered. I cannot wait to use it!! I am interested in trying the cleansing oil, dynasty cream and the glow deep serum.
I have combination skin and this actually convinced me to get the calming serum, because I was afraid it could be a bit too oily for the oily part of my face
It's been a couple months and well... I bought it. I think it really suits very oily skin, but combination will need more... Unfortunately, it doesn't calm my skin much (I have very sensitive skin) so I'm not going to buy it again. Not awful, just not great for my skin and its specific needs
I love the sunscreen! It is the best I have ever tried. I very sensitive rosacea prone skin and it hasn't caused me any problems. Goes on seamlessly. Also have the eye cream which I love! Would really like to see a retinol for the face, but great to know the eye cream can be used all over.
Love the toner, cleanser, and dynasty cream.I like to mix the cream with rosehip oil or vitamin e oil. I love the green tea serum and sunscreen. They have great products.
Hi, I’m new here! 👋 I love that the BOJ sunscreen has got people so excited about SPF - hopefully it will help more people commit to consistent use! I’ve got that ginseng cleansing oil on my wishlist, and now I’ll have to add that eye cream too.
OKAY I finally did it. Caveat that there is not one single product I didn't like A LOT. 15/14: cleansing oil and eye serum, unknowns as I haven't tried; 13: sheet mask (I just don't use them enough); 12: cleansing balm (I like others better but this is lovely) 11: bubble toner (even this 3% is too much for me to use often); 10: calming serum; 9: cleansing bar (really love this in the shower, although I like the Good Molecules bar a little better); 8: cleanser (in rotation with faves); 7: dynasty cream; 6: glow deep serum; 5: peeling gel; 4: revive serum; 3: glow serum; 2: essence; 1: spf. Subject to change once I try the last two products. Thank you so much for introducing me to this brand. I ordered a serum trio right after your BoJ trial video and have Never Looked Back. These products are so great with my skin type and honestly after I use something else for a while and go back I am always surprised as to why I paused for a bit.
I feel unsurprised that our lists are so similar haha! Did you have the easiest time with the top and bottom of the list? I spent more time moving products from spot 5 to 6 and 8 to 7! 🤣
@@AliceintheRabbitHole YES. Dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin for the...win??? Also I think I rank the ginseng products a little higher because I haven't tried the splurgy ones. I may have been scoping out Donginbi prices today! However, my AGE-R arrived today so maybe I should slow down and just enjoy what I've got. 🤣🤣
BoJ was fined by Korean FDA in Jan21 & stopped production of Ginseng serum. They had made anti-aging claims without specifying if they used white or red ginseng. In Korea, anti-aging benefits can be claimed ONLY with RED ginseng. For hydration, it's fine. But will not do anything to affect collagen production. Outside Korea, it is not well known that wild red ginseng is the only extract proven to provide those effects.
Yep and there’s also research into the constituents of red ginseng (which Sulwhasoo uses, and though I can’t afford that brand - I always say that if I was rich, that’s the brand I’d use 🤣).
I have been searching for reviews of the BOJ Revive Eye Serum but I can’t find any. Thank god for the YT recommendations and I found your video. I just purchased the product and I can’t wait to use it. Thank you for your review. 🖤
I’m interested in the dysan cream I’ve been looking at buying it the past few weeks I have the sunscreen and cleansing balm, the moisture user I have isn’t my fav atm and the Boj one looks amazing.
Dynasty cream was my go-to winter cream, and I ordered extra for my mom (way back when that was pretty much the only thing they had). I forgot about the brand until I started seeing the sunscreen everywhere online. I need to revisit the brand.
Oh, thank you Stylevana for delivering my highly anticipated package yesterday! Oh yes I got a 2 pack of the beauty of joseon spf in it, along with the waterproof Hera spf and so much more. 😍😍😍 OMG that giveaway is amazing! I definitely need to try the eye cream next.
Oooh can you let me know how that Hera product is? I hear that’s a very popular brand in Korea, although not as well known internationally. And it’s actually waterproof!?? 😱 that’s hard to find! Yes this eye cream is soooo phenomenal oh my goodness 😍
@@AliceintheRabbitHole you know, I wonder why it’s hard for us to find Korean spf that’s waterproof? I would think they’d sell more waterproof than not. I hope the word gets out so that will change. I love Korean sunscreens and apparently my skin is ok with their chemical filters so there’s no more guessing for me. I’m only getting mine from there.
Thank you so much for the stylevana tip! I can’t believe I never knew about that site, I just ordered like seven beauty of Joseon products and my total was $88 with the sale they are running right now. I will never shop anywhere else again.
Discovered your channel only recently and Iam addicted to your best & worst/ranking videos 😉👍🏻 I’ve been wanting to try BOJ for a while now so definitely going to try their products… Have you tried their Red Bean Gel Moisturizer? Thanks Alice 🙏🏻
I love the sunscreen. I am waiting on a Stylevana order that has the eye cream. Can’t wait to try it. Also, the cleansing bar is amazing. I have been using it as my second step of a double cleanse. I’ll be trying some more of these products as well! Thanks for the info:)
Alice, another amazing video! You are not only informative but you are funny! I love the Ginseng essence and balm. Am most wanting to try their eye cream and glow serum. Have a wonderful day! Cindy 🥰
Omg as soon as you said we buy products for different stages in our skincare routines it finally clicked! Sometimes I would wonder why the heck I have so many of a certain thing and it all made sense lol
YUP, I’m still catching myself buying strong BHA products, even though I’m realizing that I’m tapering down my usage of that category via adapalene. So it’s very much something I’m currently working through myself 😅
I've been using the eye cream all over my face (retinal sandwich method) for my acne. Right now my skin is PURGING, fingers crossed it'll clear up afterwards 🤞
Don’t have instagram, and my country isn’t on the list, but this video turned me into a subscriber. Thank you for reviewing this brand! Gonna watch your other videos later ❤️
Love BOJ ❤️ Love the cleanser, the essence water & the sunscreen. Just recently received the eye serum & have been really liking it so far!! Somehow, I forgot about the Dynasty cream and now I want to get it again & am super curious about the cleansing oil 😍 Now I want to
May I ask how to layer my BoJ serums? I have, Calming serum Glow Deep Serum Revive Eye Serum I have oily skin, and what serum should I use in the morning? and in the evening, should I use a serum before/after the revive eye serum or shouldI alternate it every night? And what serum would it be? Thanks yoi very much :)
The beauty of joseon sunscreen is hands the best spf I’ve ever used ✨👏🏽🙌🏽 but honestly imo, stylevana’s shipping time turned me off from ordering from them lol… I understand with the Covid delays going on, but I literally did not get any email from them for about 2 weeks until I emailed them to just cancel my order. So I decided to order from olive young and omg, my products arrived in about 6 days 🫒 so for sure only ordering my Korean skincare from them lol
The ginseng used in BOJ products is panax ginseng, there are six major members in the ginseng family, different from the so called red (cooked) ginseng and white (uncooked) ginseng which are premium and expensive, panax ginseng can be relatively much cheaper, and the function is very different as well, so it makes sense that these BOJ products are much more affordable than those high end brands such as Donginbi and Sulwhasoo.
I tend to get obsessed with a brand have to get nearly everything it makes. Previous obsessions have been Benton, CosRx, SomeByMi & Pyunkang Yul. I just bought like 20 Pyunkang Yul products and then some backups, but I just started experimenting with I'm From and now Beauty of Joseon. What I honestly really like about Beauty of Joseon, is that they DON'T make a ton of products which is less overwhelming. I just bought the Ginseng Essence, but the SPF and the eye cream are at the top of my wishlist. Other brands, I feel like I only really love and repurchase 1 out of 5-10 products, but the samples I have received and trying my friend's Joseon SPF, I LOVED 3 OUT OF 3 SO FAR!!! Trying to not end up with such a graveyard of product fails. You can't return products shipped from Korea, and with the large purchase to get free shipping, sometimes I end up giving away up to half of my purchases. 💸
I love that they don’t have a ton of products as well! I suspect it’s that they have carefully curated the options they have (which has me verrrry curious to see what toner might be replacing the bubble toner…or maybe just an upgrade? 🤔) but yep, I fully believe you’re at 3/3 - they are suuuch a great brand!
I have NOT tried one BOJ product at all. 🤣. I will spend lots of time on research, people's opinions, more reading, etc before I decide on a product. I'm slooowwwwww. I don't like jumping on every new product once it's out. I want to hear about the negative part of a product because that helps me more on decision making. I want the good, the bad, and the ugly.
A lot of certified derms and esthetician’s recommend it. Even I purchased the green plus cleanser, on my 5th bottle of the sunscreen, toner and dynasty cream and they are all so simple, incredible and make skin care so easy and I feel safe using their products and have no hesitation unlike other products i’ve used. It truly was a life saver for me and i’ll continue to use it. Just an opinion from a user of it ❤️
Pretty sure I would have gotten a migraine trying to rank this line. I love the sunscreen and rice and alpha arbutin serum. Am decluttering, but if I was going to get anything, it would definitely be the eye cream. It looks divine! ❤️
The only thing I’ve tried from this brand is the ginseng essence. I’ve recently ran out of it and have been using the I’m from rice toner essence. I like the ginseng one quite a better, but not sure if I’m going to buy it again. Or at least not when I’m out of the one I’m using. I want to try a few others, but it’s something I would possibly go back to. My favorite is still the one from tatcha but I don’t want to spend that much again! So I’m going to keep watching your videos and figure out what I want to try next lol. I also noticed the discount code in your description box so I really need to remember and use that when I place my next order!!
LOVE Beauty of Joseon..... but have you ever reviewed Then I Met You...? I would love your opinion! Thank you as always..Bought and am trying the BOJ eye product 🙂 so far so good...
I haven’t - somehow! Probably will put them on my Xmas list and then maybe for 2023? Nooo omg I can’t believe I just reminded myself how fast time is moving LOLLL
@@AliceintheRabbitHole TIMY is a nice product. I hope it is truly beneficial too as it is pricey. time moving Too fast or Too slow is depending on outcomes of elections for me...I am terrified..so I dive into beauty... so honestly..and truly.... you and a few others have been lifesavers for me the past many years...can't watch tv....thank you
I love BoJ as well, I have not used all their stuff, but I love their serums, cleansing balm, dynasty cream, sunscreen and sheet masks. I want to try that ginseng toner at some point and also cleansing oil when I place my next order. I don't like peeling gels though, they seem really gimmicky to me. I would rather use a proper chemical exfoliant
I feel like I always want to get into peeling gels, but it’s never really happened. The closest for me was the make prem, but that ones now discontinued lol. I guess I don’t have luck with them 😆
i have dry tan skin and it’s so hard to find a sunscreen that is hydrating but doesn’t leave a white cast so when i tried out the boj sunscreen i was so excited, and at first i loved it, it feels just like a moisturizer, leaves me glowy and there is no white cast BUT it breaks me out and leaves tiny bumps and mila on my skin :( i love boj i have tried a lot of their products and the sunscreen is the only one that has made me break out so far, so sad bc i loveeeee the formula i just can’t use it
is the doginbi essence frangerance essential oil free? Girl I tried to use the Suwhasoo ginsing cream and I just coundnt with the smell it's like highly frangent and remind me of my grandma kina burned idk if it was the high frangerance but I'm sure it works aminzing but the smell I couldn't do, I put it on my hand and they were illuminated and Preety but the smell they need to take out or change to lighter sent even kinda burned my hands. that's my problem with that one
Yes! Specifically the 1899 Single Essence. Sulwhasoo has some very strong scents in their products, but for reasons I can’t explain, my skin still loves them? It’s surprising!
I'm currently using glow serum and my dark spots are fading,it's so hydrating that I don't use moisturizer at night. With the sunscreen I ordered 3 cause it's that good. I'm currently waiting for essence and face soap from shop.
Absolutely wonderful video Alice... Thank you very much. I also love this company. Somehow I never noticed they made an eye cream so I’m going to try that out ASAP. Big QUESTION …the moisturizer I agree is wonderful but I don’t know if I’ve tried it under makeup. do you use it under foundation? And where would we see reviews of foundations etc.? I don’t see them here but maybe I’m not looking correctly. And again thank you so very much for your help as always
I have very sensitive skin and eyes and fell in love with the sunscreen, it’s the best one I have ever tried. I’ve repurchased it countless times and always give a couple of bottles to my mom as a birthday present as she is not very consistent with sunscreen application. I’m very curious to try the dynasty cream as well as the oil cleanser ❤ BoJ is also on my top 5 favourite brands! #SVBeautifulSelf #Vanafamily #beautyofjoseon
Hi. Im trying the BOJ glow serum for a week now. My skin type is acne-prone sensitive skin. I noticed im suddenly having acne again on my chin and cheeks (where i used to get most acne) is this normal? Should i just stop or give it some time?
It is possible to purge from niacinamide (and purging will happen strictly where you typically break out). This is because niacinamide can increase skin turnover, pushing those pimples to the surface faster However! I must also tell you that it’s possible to be allergic to propolis If I were you, I’d keep a close eye on whether those breakouts clear up or not. If so, you’re good. If not, I’d discontinue use. Hope that helps!
I am interested in this giveaway but confused about where to leave the comment: here or Instagram? Regardless I never say no to a great sunscreen and cleansing oil! Thank you.
I have been sitting here waiting on this video ..lol girl I remember the first eastern product I ever tried when I was 19 was called the Aloette peel gel and I loved that stuff so much at that time we all thought it was dead skin didn't know any better I use to make my dad use it and we would all sit around thinking we were peeling dead skin it was entertaning🤣
@@AliceintheRabbitHole omg I know those pushy mall people from another country we still got them at our mall they are right beside VS and u can't go by with out them grabbing ur arm and pulling u away from ur partner it should be illegal . My first experience with one was the Secret Key brand the one that had to do with the ocean one not the Korean version brand .
@@AliceintheRabbitHole omg same!!! It was in a clear tub with a blue lid. Even til a year ago I thought this stuff was actually peeling skin lol. I believe I paid like 90$ for that crappy kiosk gel
Omg we have the exact same hair/skin situation! I like to use an oil on my ends (typically Verb ghost oil, although I’ve been trying the Virtue more recently - they’re about on par imo). Shampoo/conditioner can vary, but it does help a lot to use the shampoo twice. Then I’ll use a deep conditioning mask about once a week OR an Olaplex treatment. I’m finding I don’t need the Olaplex since I put dye on my hair, but it made a huge difference when my hair was just blonde Oh I also swear by a detangler, and wish I had incorporated that years ago (this is more hair type though: helpful for fine hair!!)
You know what’s so funny though? I absolutely had to learn how to be gentle with my skin. I’ll never forget the first time I ever filmed my routine: it was enlightening 😳
Unpopular opinion: I have been using the Ginseng Essence and have been trying to love it, but I am underwhelmed. There are other toners/essences that I would rather use for hydration. I also don’t feel that it’s an essence, more of a toner. Their cleansing balm is honestly the best balm I have used. The sunscreen is currently my HG spf. I am also really enjoying the Glow serum.
Is it because you prefer thicker essences? (If so: same). I loooove the Skinfood propolis enrich essence, or for a ginseng option, Donginbi 1899 single essence. I still like BOJ’s, but I do forget it’s technically an essence constantly - feels like a toner in my mind!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole I have been looking and really contemplating the splurge for the Donginbi. I do prefer thicker essences. It’s a comforting feeling .
The cleansing oil....clogged my pores when I used it every night. Maybe I'm not emulsifying enough or my cleansing foam is not enough to remove it. I only now would use it if I really need it, like removing waterproof make up and sunscreen.
I’ve come to a similar conclusion and stopped double cleansing every night as well. I will always do it with tough to remove sunscreens and makeup days, but it’s now about a 50/50 split of nights that I double cleanse.
@@AliceintheRabbitHole I still double cleanse but with a cleansing milk, I use dewytree. So I would mostly double cleanse with BOJ about 3x a week then with dewytree on the rest of the week.
Question I'm lost what should I order the biosionce omgea for 30% off or the 👻 democracy cocoon I also found a pretty good discount code really want the peptide mist to but don't know how good it would be also want to try the niod spray and a few serums from them but I'm think I'm gonna wait on Niod till their Nov sale. I'm so indecisive 🤣 also want the lord Jones CBD cream they have the omgea cream as point perk and mini too also the copper peptide as point perk have u tried it some people are loving others saying ahh whatever, it's so pretty but it's awfully light for CP serum.thwy also had the DE vita C and the protini peel serum as a point perk and a few decent items compared to usual and GWP goodies to I kinda want to try the summer fridays jet lag it's a GWP too and some Shani Darren some SPF good hair stuff decent point perks and GWP that doesn't happen alot. Have u tried the biosionce squalene and copper peptide serum yet or the YTP peptide cream?
I just scooped the copper peptide serum GWP in my most recent order! I’m curious about it, but defo want to sample it before buying I’ll say the biossance omega and GD cocoon are SUPER similar (I’m not sure i would be able to tell them apart in a blind test - soooo similar). The Lord Jones does feel different to me though (but also $$$ - might grab that point perk though LOL!)
Alpha arbutin has extensive research behind it, and is generally considered effective against hyperpigmentation. Beta arbutin isn’t as effective, and seeing the word “arbutin” in an INCI doesn’t mean much - what type? How much alpha vs beta?
So far I have used the serums and recently the SPF and they are wonderful, it has been so great to see the amount of growth that BOJ has been having in the recent years, I remember when they had only a few products a long time ago. But now I'm dieing to rey out there revive eye serum since I have sensitive combo skin, I have been trying to find a safe retinal for my delicate skin to try out #SVBeautifulSelf #VanaFamily
Agreed, I’ve watched them cultivate a perfect collection of products, reformulating based on feedback and always improving. It’s such a breath of fresh air in the skincare space!
Are any of these products for acne good for a teenage boy? He doesn’t get cystic acne but has large pores and looks like even with small pimples he gets lots of blackheads that show scaring afterwards.
BHA would be very helpful ingredients for him. For a gentle product, look into the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (uses betaine salicylate). Or for salicylic acid, Isntree has a 2% Salicylic Acid chestnut toner (just one of these, not both). Hope that helps!
Can you believe that my skin is so nonabsorbent that I hated the Dynasty Cream?! I was really bummed. It lays like glue on my skin and I have to wash it off. My skin used to be super oily but is now combination with age. But, I love Beauty of Joseon otherwise and have been wanting to try the eye cream, the cleansing oil and the sunscreen!
Oh wow really?? What is your favorite moisturizer? I believe it fully (because that’s skincare), but I’m definitely trying to figure out what the correlation is 🧐
Thanks to your prompting and reviews, I made a Stylevana order for the 1st time, and in that, tried some different sunscreens, essences, balms, cream, oil, eye patches. Of those, I got BOJ sunscreen and glow oil. So pleased with them... I decided even before your reviews, that I need to try more of these cushy-feeling products. (Also went for CosRX, Soon Jung, IsnTree, haruharu, skin 1004, Biore UV, JayJun). Now if I can figger out how to enter your giveaway.....not an instagram user, but now, highly motivated. Love you, and thanks,😇Alice, my younger astro-twin!!
I"m not on IG anymore, so I can't enter 😐, but I will probably pick up those top three products in my next order anyway! I just finished the ginseng essence myself, and I don't think I saw any changes - but would I anyway? I'm kind of in a watery essence-as-self-care mindset right now, so as long as it feels nice, doesn't break me out, and doesn't break the bank I'm on board. (I'm using the Scinic essence right now.)
Yup I totally understand that! K-Beauty forced me to break out of the mentality of “every product has to be active” - and I’m so glad it did. Sometimes, soothing/hydrating products are all I need!
I like the ginseng serum, and the propolis glow serum was nice but it broke me out. I wish they had something for sebaceous filaments. Nothing I've tried works. How do you make your own sheet masks?
I buy compressed sheet masks (on YesStyle), pour some toner and/or essence into a bowl, drop the sheet mask in and it expands! It’s fun to watch and gives me complete control over how I mask - definitely worth trying imo!
Would love to try the Ginseng Eye cream or ginseng cleanse oil or dynasty cream or serum sampler!!!! #heine.leslie #SVbeautifulSelf #VanaFamily. Sorry so late, took a while to figure this out after feeding all my critters!!!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole There was a HUGE boxes set of Sulwhasoo ginseng products. It looked like a full size, complete skincare routine sealed in box at TJ Maxx for an amazing price. But I knew nothing about the brand or the benefits of Ginseng. I am so kicking myself now.
I would have to disagree with her on the Dinasty Cream moisturizer. I have oily skin. This is NOT a good option for people with oily skin. It keeps my face feeling greasy, which is one of the things we don't want. Other than that, it's a great moisturizer, but... I don't want to look greasy, and don't want my face to "glow". Quite the opposite, I want it to look matte. My face glows naturally, not the good way. I've been using the eye serum with retinal for a month now, I think that one is great. And I just started using the deep glow serum with arbutin. I'm hoping to like that one as well.

The gentle plum cleanser and the apricot peeling gel are also great for people with dry/sensitive skin.
Just went and bought a bunch more stuff from this brand because i’m loving their products so much.
Their pore mask is also amazing!! It leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and refreshed!
If you mean the red bean mask, then I totally agree. Skin feels deep cleaned but really moisturised, calm and 'bouncy' afterwards.
I'm new to Korean skincare and recently purchased the BOJ sunscreen based off one your videos comparing sunscreen. And I love it!.
Everyone’s skin is different for sure!! Much appreciate you sharing 🥰
I love all the products I've tried from BOJ. It's one of the few brands that has been consistently very good for me.
@@alexandrite9100thanks for the update!
I love the sunscreen! It is the best I have ever tried. I very sensitive rosacea prone skin and it hasn't caused me any problems. Goes on seamlessly. Also have the eye cream which I love! Would really like to see a retinol for the face, but great to know the eye cream can be used all over.
I love your reviews. Articulate, informative and fun. Your personality shines through
Simply Brilliant play on words (collagen ;)) I love your work! Please review the whole line of Misha Time Revolution, Ampoule and Cream
I have BOJ’s cleansing balm and sunscreen. LOVE them. Definitely getting more of their products
It really has! Who’d have thought a sunscreen could feel so much like a moisturizer 🤯
Happy to help! It’s fantastic, probably the best eye serum I’ve ever tried. The affordable price is just a bonus?!
The eye cream looks so good. Retinal at an affordable price.
OMG that giveaway is amazing!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole day two with Hera and I love it. It’s fragranced tho so not for everyone.
Discovered your channel only recently and Iam addicted to your best & worst/ranking videos 😉👍🏻
I’ve been wanting to try BOJ for a while now so definitely going to try their products…
Have you tried their Red Bean Gel Moisturizer? Thanks Alice 🙏🏻
I love the sunscreen. I am waiting on a Stylevana order that has the eye cream. Can’t wait to try it. Also, the cleansing bar is amazing. I have been using it as my second step of a double cleanse.
I’ll be trying some more of these products as well! Thanks for the info:)
What’s the name of the cleansing balm ?
@@saniaz680 it’s the Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm
How am I just finding you?! Amazing channel! So excited to become a subscriber! Thank you!
Love this video & agree with your choices ! The sun screen is a firm fav . Will try the eye serum next purchase .
Alice, another amazing video! You are not only informative but you are funny! I love the Ginseng essence and balm. Am most wanting to try their eye cream and glow serum. Have a wonderful day! Cindy 🥰
Would LOVEE to try the ginseng cleansing oil!! I have the ginseng eye serum and I second its high ranking! What a lovely product!!
It really is 😭😭
Ok i'm sold, gonna try a few of these. Been looking for a good eye cream!
Love BOJ ❤️
Love the cleanser, the essence water & the sunscreen. Just recently received the eye serum & have been really liking it so far!! Somehow, I forgot about the Dynasty cream and now I want to get it again & am super curious about the cleansing oil 😍
Now I want to
May I ask how to layer my BoJ serums?
I have,
Calming serum
Glow Deep Serum
Revive Eye Serum
I have oily skin, and what serum should I use in the morning? and in the evening, should I use a serum before/after the revive eye serum or shouldI alternate it every night? And what serum would it be?
Thanks yoi very much :)
The beauty of joseon sunscreen is hands the best spf I’ve ever used ✨👏🏽🙌🏽 but honestly imo, stylevana’s shipping time turned me off from ordering from them lol… I understand with the Covid delays going on, but I literally did not get any email from them for about 2 weeks until I emailed them to just cancel my order. So I decided to order from olive young and omg, my products arrived in about 6 days 🫒 so for sure only ordering my Korean skincare from them lol
So you would not order any of their products off Amazon then?
The ginseng used in BOJ products is panax ginseng, there are six major members in the ginseng family, different from the so called red (cooked) ginseng and white (uncooked) ginseng which are premium and expensive, panax ginseng can be relatively much cheaper, and the function is very different as well, so it makes sense that these BOJ products are much more affordable than those high end brands such as Donginbi and Sulwhasoo.
Yep, and imo the results from the more expensive options are indeed better (again for a certain age range though). My poor wallet lol!
Pyuyang Yul I love the brand
I have NOT tried one BOJ product at all. 🤣. I will spend lots of time on research, people's opinions, more reading, etc before I decide on a product. I'm slooowwwwww. I don't like jumping on every new product once it's out. I want to hear about the negative part of a product because that helps me more on decision making. I want the good, the bad, and the ugly.
That's smart on your part. Don't buy into the hype (like me) lol
Just an opinion from a user of it ❤️
I have been wanting to try more products by BOJ. Even though I wasn't loving the eye cream.
Pretty sure I would have gotten a migraine trying to rank this line.
I love the sunscreen and rice and alpha arbutin serum. Am decluttering, but if I was going to get anything, it would definitely be the eye cream. It looks divine! ❤️
I definitely had a running list that ended up with all kinds of scratching out, arrows pointing up or down - it was HARD lol!! 🤣
Have you tried apieu Centella at all
Hi! Was wondering if I can get advice on what all I need for a daily routine?
I bought the ginseng toner and glow serum totally my faves!!
Love this brand, so glad you made this vid!
Excellent, detailed review. Great content. Thank you!
I guess I don’t have luck with them 😆
i have dry tan skin and it’s so hard to find a sunscreen that is hydrating but doesn’t leave a white cast so when i tried out the boj sunscreen i was so excited, and at first i loved it, it feels just like a moisturizer, leaves me glowy and there is no white cast BUT it breaks me out and leaves tiny bumps and mila on my skin :(
i love boj i have tried a lot of their products and the sunscreen is the only one that has made me break out so far, so sad bc i loveeeee the formula i just can’t use it
is the doginbi essence frangerance essential oil free?
It really is that good of a sunscreen! 🤯
Yep it’s a great option under foundation-not too heavy at all!
I’m sorry I’m not sure what you mean by reviews of foundations? Apologies!
Is the retinoid eye cream suitable for under 25? Im tempted to buy it but im not sure. Bcuz some people say that use retinols only after 25 y/o
Hallo, What fun to watch. congratulations to the lucky winners!
What's the ginseng toner your referring to. Was about to purchase the boj but curious of the other ones ingredients list
What is the more expensive green tea toner you mentioned??? I could not quite understand the name of it! Thanks!

Loving the hair!
Thank you! 😃
What is the name of the ginseng water that was for 30 and over anti ageing? Thanks
I have very sensitive skin and eyes and fell in love with the sunscreen, it’s the best one I have ever tried. I’ve repurchased it countless times and always give a couple of bottles to my mom as a birthday present as she is not very consistent with sunscreen application. I’m very curious to try the dynasty cream as well as the oil cleanser ❤
BoJ is also on my top 5 favourite brands!
#SVBeautifulSelf #Vanafamily #beautyofjoseon
Can we use this eyecream in day time? I was skeptical because of the retinal
I saw some of their products at tj Maxx. I bought the eye cream.
This is because niacinamide can increase skin turnover, pushing those pimples to the surface faster
However! I must also tell you that it’s possible to be allergic to propolis
If I were you, I’d keep a close eye on whether those breakouts clear up or not. If so, you’re good. If not, I’d discontinue use. Hope that helps!
I am interested in this giveaway but confused about where to leave the comment: here or Instagram? Regardless I never say no to a great sunscreen and cleansing oil! Thank you.
Right here! I’m relying on IG for contact though, as there’s no way to direct message via UA-cam (wish there was, it would be easier!)
I love the sunscreen, interested in Revive Eye Serum,
I have been sitting here waiting on this video ..lol girl I remember the first eastern product I ever tried when I was 19 was called the Aloette peel gel and I loved that stuff so much at that time we all thought it was dead skin didn't know any better I use to make my dad use it and we would all sit around thinking we were peeling dead skin it was entertaning🤣
My first experience with these products was at a mall kiosk (with those SUUUUPER pushy sales people). They wanted me to spend $300 on it 🤦♀️
@@AliceintheRabbitHole omg I know those pushy mall people from another country we still got them at our mall they are right beside VS and u can't go by with out them grabbing ur arm and pulling u away from ur partner it should be illegal .
I want to ask Something, I’m 16 years old and I wanna take care of my skin. Can I use the serum or the cleanser olie of this brand?? Pls help someone
@@Nehirvrgnlts Yes you can totally use this brand at 16 it's pretty affordable and a great way to start .
I also have dry skin, oily scalp with dry ends - super annoying! What shampoos, conditioners and treatments do you use/recommend?
Omg we have the exact same hair/skin situation! I like to use an oil on my ends (typically Verb ghost oil, although I’ve been trying the Virtue more recently - they’re about on par imo). Shampoo/conditioner can vary, but it does help a lot to use the shampoo twice. Then I’ll use a deep conditioning mask about once a week OR an Olaplex treatment. I’m finding I don’t need the Olaplex since I put dye on my hair, but it made a huge difference when my hair was just blonde
Oh I also swear by a detangler, and wish I had incorporated that years ago (this is more hair type though: helpful for fine hair!!)
Do you have an anti aging product video?
Alice, I love how gentle you are on your skin, I'm the complete opposite. If it ain't rough it's not gonna work. 💯
You know what’s so funny though? I absolutely had to learn how to be gentle with my skin. I’ll never forget the first time I ever filmed my routine: it was enlightening 😳
Have you tried the I'm from ginseng toner? Is it better than this one?
Sadly I haven’t!
Yes I do like ur personality AND ur communication skills - French kiss 💋!
has the cleansing oil made anybody’s skin break out? just curious because it has soybean oil which has a high comedogenic rating.
Absolutely love that video, thank so much, help me a lot to chose my serum and cleanser oil. Hello from Brasil 👋🏻
Happy to help! 😃
I love anything with centella!

I’ll say the biossance omega and GD cocoon are SUPER similar (I’m not sure i would be able to tell them apart in a blind test - soooo similar). The Lord Jones does feel different to me though (but also $$$ - might grab that point perk though LOL!)
Hey. Great video. Thought I recalled arbutin recently being called out as problematic. Any thoughts on that? Thanks
Alpha arbutin has extensive research behind it, and is generally considered effective against hyperpigmentation. Beta arbutin isn’t as effective, and seeing the word “arbutin” in an INCI doesn’t mean much - what type? How much alpha vs beta?
@@AliceintheRabbitHole thanks
Hope that helps!
loveddddddddd this video
Very informative video. Did you say or know if it's cruelty free?
Yes, cruelty free! 🥰
I believe it fully (because that’s skincare), but I’m definitely trying to figure out what the correlation is 🧐
Holy cow these are affordable. Going to order stuff very very very soon!
They really are!! And SO nice to use also. Phenomenal brand!
Oooh that’s quite a nice haul of wonderful brands!! 😍
How can I get in on your products you don't use or want?
I like the ginseng serum, and the propolis glow serum was nice but it broke me out. I wish they had something for sebaceous filaments. Nothing I've tried works. How do you make your own sheet masks?
I buy compressed sheet masks (on YesStyle), pour some toner and/or essence into a bowl, drop the sheet mask in and it expands! It’s fun to watch and gives me complete control over how I mask - definitely worth trying imo!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole that's really cool! I'm totally going to do that. Thank you!

Please can you give me name of ginseng product you’d splurge on- I couldn’t catch the brand in the video. Thanks. X
Donginbi, specifically the essence for a fragrance free option, although the whole line is amazing. Sulwhasoo is also very nice but even more pricey!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole - it is pricey. May start off with BoJ first. But thanks. X
Thank you for sharing! 😊
Can someone please tell me from which site I can buy korean skincare in Netherlands
