Cool music segment. We sometimes don't think about how capable a good spincast unit can be, it can land Slabs like your Crappie, and that Largemouth was jumping around like it was a Smallmouth, Haha.
Yes sir, I am not a spinning reel guy, so it is a spincast for me on the lighter lures- I like this KastKing spincast it seems to do well on these fish.
Yes sir, they have lowered the pond down quite a bit so I see stumps out there that I havent seen before. Usually fish a couple hours before sundown until dark -

Pond looks low. 6:42 💪 Slab! some other nice ones in the mix too. I tried getting on some crappie Friday and only managed one. Need to try another lake I haven't been to yet this year!!
Yeah, they lowered the pond and installed a new pipe in the levee to maintain the level - getting rid of that spillway, I have a little more land back there and a little less water - Those crappie should be turning on soon, probably up your way before down here- we are still seeing some pretty warm days

Yep, finally replaced the old pink rod I was using - this new one is a little stiff for crappie but I will get used to it
