Thank you for showing your eye appointment Jen! The information from the doctor is great to raise awareness on how much our eyes can tell us about our bodies! I was diagnosed with eye cancer (Ocular Melanoma) while pregnant in 2020, all because of an eye test. It’s so important to get your eye health checked, whether you have poor vision or not (I just went for a check up and don’t even wear glasses). Anyone reading this, please go get your eyes tested, and if you can, have an OCT scan. I wouldn’t have known I have cancer if it wasn’t for getting my eyes tested! 💖
Jen, I find that there's always a period of adjustment when I get new glasses or contacts. When I got new glasses I was having an issue and the store told me to give it a week. Sure enough, after a week seeing was better.
Yes especially if ur prescription jumps up quite a bit, I was getting headaches and pain behind the eyes so ended up going back into my opticians and having a special eye mri
Hey Trackers! Just wanted to add something about luggage. Working in the travel industry, I will say that higher end luggage brands usually last a really long time and they have good warranty policies for damage and repairs. I shelled out a pretty good amount of money for a carry-on piece from a well-known brand when I was in my early 20s, and it's still working great for me in my 40s. Just something to consider. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Those concrete pads in the park look to me like old disc golf tee pads! Also, Jen's makeup at the end of the video is just so natural and flawlessly gorgeous, can she just do us all a favor and do a makeup tutorial one day?? Lol I don't even *wear* makeup, but she could probably convince me to start trying!
Thankyou for sharing that whole medical optical info, it got me very excited. No joke. Especially learning that Arteries have Muscles! Kinda like an aquacoaster!
Also regarding the seam on the sofa, u could prob get a seamstress or someone to join the 2 pieces together so u have 1 long piece, I would look into that to see if that's a possibility, especially as you liked the sofa so much
For luggage I use to buy the cheap set of three bags and they didn’t wear well. Finally gave in and bought Away luggage. They are so durable and look great and I love how they stack inside themselves when you put them away.
Loved this vlog! I always enjoy seeing all the every day parks around Florida- and keeping an eye out for gators! And the info from the eye doc was super interesting! I'd never had it explained to me like that and it made so much sense.
Thank you for getting a dilated exam! I kept putting mine off and when they finally did one, they found a neurological condition that needed immediate intervention and I had zero other symptoms. Take care of your health!!
No need to apologize we all have weeks like that and you have to take care of yourself. Loved the live feed it was great. Jackson cracks me up when you asked him what do ducks say and his first response was oink oink!!! Too cute. Hope you all are having a great weekend
Optometry manager here :) Totally normal for the near vision to start to be blurry. Some parts of us age faster than others (hello knees!) Go back and talk with your doctor and let them know your concerns. Believe me, they want you to be able to see clearly! And if you don't tell them, they don't know. There are many options from monovision (one eye sees near and one for distance...totally amazing how that works!) or multifocal, and progressive lenses for glasses are much easier to adapt to at a young age. I started wearing monovision contacts and progressives at 40 and it was life changing!
Thanks for video - Jenn, I am nearsighted and had worn glasses and contact lenses for years until I moved into progressive glasses after age 40. I finally had corrective Laser surgery about 7 years ago - had been very nervous to get it before then. So wish I did it years earlier - fantastic waking up and being able to see everything, snorkeling underwater and seeing the fish and never having to put glasses on or any contact lenses in my eyes. Bonus for me was that one eye was so dominant that it took over the other eye for distance so I was a candidate for “mono vision”. Only one eye had to be corrected for distance, the other left alone and that one is my reading eye. So I can see long distance and close reading (62 years old now) and will never have to wear reading glasses, also get to wear funky sunglasses now if I want to. Extra bonus half price as only had to get one eye done. The surgery was painless and quick, recovery with 2 days and my eye just felt like I had chlorine in it for about 6 hours after the surgery. Can now see 20/20 and reading vision is great. Won’t work for everyone - you need to have consultation and eye tests to determine that. Might be something to consider - loving my glasses free life! BTW both glasses you picked look great.
I love some of these chill day vlogs. I used to not only live in South Florida but I lived in orlando for a while and when I am a bit homesick I watch your around town videos. If you could venture out to Point Orlando one day that would be a trip down memory lane for me. You guys do a great job with these videos and I know we all love watching you!
The optician was fantastic literally explaining it with so much detail but saying it where u can actually understand what he is talking about lol, unlike some doctors talk in doctors language and ur like what lol x
Jackson having a foot clearance of the volleyball net yet still ducking to pass under it is perfection. Such an awesome kid and a real credit to his parents.
The opticians are so awesome especially the pics of the backs of ur eyes. They found I had swelling at the back of my eye and other problems thru a special eye scan and I ended up being referred to the neurologist for a lumbar puncture then got diagnosed with intercranial hypertension and non contagious meningitis, so so so thankful I went to the opticians that day glad ur eyes are all good jen xx
With how often you guys travel, I think I'd say the more expensive one. That way you have it for a longer time and don't have to really worry about it every blank years. Jenn love the frames you choose! You look great!
Hi I’m Chris from New Zealand and have enjoyed many trips to Orlando. I miss my travel very much but my comment is about luggage. I used to buy the cheap luggage until my suitcase arrived in pieces now I have expensive cases and they have survived our travels very well. Love you guys I’ve been watching you for years and you portray
Optometrist here: I loved seeing your eye exam and your retinas! 😂 The up close problem with contacts could be because if you are nearing 40 it will get harder up close if your distance vision is fully corrected which it may not be in your old Rx. Hopefully you can ask your eye doc about your concerns and they can tell you if it's just adjustment or if you will need to go about correcting your near and distance vision in a different way. Good luck.
We have a town and Lake called Windermere in England. It's part of our Lake District in the County of Cumbria. It's a beautiful part of England. That looked a lovely park. Can't believe that it's so close to Disney. Jackson is as sharp as a pin. He's very clever.
I work for Lenscrsfters, I love that the doctor let you film your experience. Taking about the Optomap process. Jenn, i love the 2 glasses you picked out! I think those cement slabs were for picnic tables before the built the gazebos.
i've been going to lenscrafters for years. i love the scans and the entire process is quick and painless. i also love how quick they can get your lenses done, no waiting days/weeks. (unless you decide to keep your frames and they need to send off for the lenses, but that's understandable.)
I just wanted to give feedback on luggage. I think expensive luggage is worth it because it tends to be smoother to roll and comes with a warranty. I’m a flight attendant and when I started out, I used cheaper luggage and just kept replacing it. Then I stepped up to travelpro (which I don’t recommend) and then finally bought a Briggs and Riley set. It’s expensive but has lifetime warranty. I just have to take it to a retailer and get the zippers replaced or the wheels replaced, etc. and it’s completely free (except shipping if you need to send it in). I love the design and how lightweight it is.
I bought a hard piece Merax luggage spinner set a few years ago, and it has lasted me awhile and works really good! Plus they have nice colors that stand out and make it easy to find. I recommend any luggage that has ABS spinner wheels. It makes it so much easier to move them while traveling!
You should be able to use the plugs at the park. They are for when you need to keep your food hot. Like in a crock pot. Jen, I would be hungry in an hour if I ate that meal for dinner. No way!!! Don't touch!!!!!! So cute!!!!!
Hi Jenn! Just wanted to share we having been using Hungry Root food delivery and Misfits for almost 2 years and I’ve been really happy with them! Lots of plant based choices along with other great organic items ☺️
I personally would invest in quality luggage and pay the price difference. As you will be traveling more and more with a toddler and will discover quality is better than quantity. Most people travel when vacation time permits but you travel partly for your job so I would see it as an investment in your job like you do for cameras and equipment. Just an old lady’s opinion.😊😉❤️ Love your channel.
I cannot get contacts for close up and far away as I need progressive lenses on my glasses. I can get contacts that work for going to Disneyland but then I have to enlarge the type on my phone. Talk to your eye Dr if you have concerns. Also Jen you hair in the bun at the end of the video was so cute. Last, if you don’t already have it, “The Monster and the End of this book” it’s a Sesame Street book with Grover and it is a generationally loved book in our family.
Thank you for showing Jackson happily wearing his mask. Our 3 year old (who we’ve been trying to train to wear a mask for several months now) thinks the sun rises and sets for Jackson so seeing him happy in a mask was SO helpful. I pointed it out and she immediately ran to the entry closet to get a mask and insisted on wearing it around the house. Hopefully next time we need her to wear one we can remind her she’ll be like Jackson if she does.
oh my goodness you guys. this was so so cool! i have freaky lil astigmatism eyeballs that my dr said looks like footballs lmao. so it was REALLY neat that you shared this stuff, nice work on your eyeballs, jenn
We got our sofa at Rooms to go The Metropolis and it has the lounger and you can configure it to be either side of the sofa when you order it. I love it.
We were at the Mall on Saturday, the 22nd, it was pretty busy, was our first time there, really liked it but the lines to get into the stores floored me! We'll have to check out Windermere, we're always in search of things to do for our 10 yr old! We love walking around Cranes Roost Park all the time and heard Wakevia Island is nice but haven't ventured there yet.
Forgot to add that I'm in need of a new prescription, ugh! Was going to look at Americas Best for my prescription, saw Lens Crafters there and it triggered me to look at getting the eyes checked! Thanks for the fun Vlog! I really need to start up our Vlog again!
Hey, I don’t usually comment but big Tumi fan here, I fly a lot for business and my luggage gets a lot of abuse and my Tumi Alpha 2 set is as good as new after a number of years. Cheap luggage until it dies. I picked up a couple of suitcases at a local thrift shop about 5 years ago and it's still going strong. However, I don't travel as much as you do so buying expensive luggage isn't practical for me. But I would still think buying cheap luggage is the way to go.
Luggage reco: Look into Briggs and Riley with their compression technology for high end. Love Away bags also - lightweight and you can pack a ton in them surprisingly. Loved both for Business and personal travel.

Tumi is our go-to! We have been through it all, and so has our Tumi, for decades!
THE BATHROOM IS JUST BASIC!
oh my gosh Jackson asking Siri for a joke was so adorable 😭
He didn't find it funny tho 😞
Thank you for showing your eye appointment Jen! The information from the doctor is great to raise awareness on how much our eyes can tell us about our bodies! I was diagnosed with eye cancer (Ocular Melanoma) while pregnant in 2020, all because of an eye test. "Siri tell me a joke" so ccute!

Yep. Even when I change glasses and not scripts, there’s an adjustment period.
My boyfriend calls Target the "don't touch box"...he's no fun ! 😉😂

That helium joke though 😂😂😂
Thankyou for sharing that whole medical optical info, it got me very excited. No joke. Especially learning that Arteries have Muscles! Kinda like an aquacoaster!
Jackson asking Siri to tell him a joke, So cuuuuute!
Eye carumba! Ha ha glad all is OK with your eyes. Thanks for the trip to that park area as well. Nice.
Also regarding the seam on the sofa, u could prob get a seamstress or someone to join the 2 pieces together so u have 1 long piece, I would look into that to see if that's a possibility, especially as you liked the sofa so much
I agree with Jenn. I thought the same thing about the concrete pads. Use to have picnic tables on them.
I love my Away luggage! It is awesome!
Thank You for sharing your day.

you might want to place that non stick pan that has the coating peeled off. basically the coating is getting into your food and you are ingesting it.
Thank you for getting a dilated exam! I kept putting mine off and when they finally did one, they found a neurological condition that needed immediate intervention and I had zero other symptoms. Take care of your health!!

Thanks for sharing your awesome video need a break from the parks 😀

About three tennis courts? 😅😅😅
With the concrete pads..if they were a good distance apart..maybe they use to have a disc golf course.

any video with Jackson is a good video😀
Omg Jen I love those suspenders sooo much!
This is the most random assortment of activities for one video, and I absolutely love it! It’s always fun watching you guys just living life
Total props on Jackson’s RHCP shirt 🤘🏻🌶
We loved The Mall at Millenia 😍 thanks for sharing xx
I absolutely adore these vlogs. It feels like I’m hanging out with friends🥺
You guys are just the best 😀

When Jackson said “Hey Siri” my Siri popped up on my iPad
The way Jackson greeted you two when you came home
Lol Vineyard Vines is very Massachusetts, after Martha's Vineyard. Good effort though Tim!
Hi Jenn! Just wanted to share we having been using Hungry Root food delivery and Misfits for almost 2 years and I’ve been really happy with them! Lots of plant based choices along with other great organic items ☺️

Shep from Southern Charm! Omg you need to style Jackson's hair just like Shep.
We were at the Mall on Saturday, the 22nd, it was pretty busy, was our first time there, really liked it but the lines to get into the stores floored me!

Hey, I don’t usually comment but big Tumi fan here, I fly a lot for business and my luggage gets a lot of abuse and my Tumi Alpha 2 set is as good as new after a number of years. And the capacity of them is huge. If you getting those priority tags flying business then you need the luggage to sport them too😉 Tumi have a second to none after sales service. I just wouldn’t get hard shell cases as when flying they sent easily if they end up on the bottom of the pile.
Vineyard vines is from Massachusetts , my home town :)
Martha’s Vineyard
Jenn, I am a die hard Warby fan, and I just got the exact same pair of glasses. Love them!
I've used Home Chef off and on since 2014 and have probably had less than 10 instances where I've had ingredient issues with them in all of that time. I'm always really happy with the variety of recipes offered each week and the ability to substitute proteins.
Aww the lake looked beautiful and thanks Jenn for the reminder that I need to book my eye test 😂❤️
Weather is so much better than our Lake Windermere in the UK. Always raining. I so much prefer your Windermere. Both are beautiful though.
10:49
People used to peg playing cards to their spokes to make the noise when you ride a bike.
Tim found a NEW way. Attach a Jackson! 😂🥰
I think you all did HELLO FRESH. We did that for about 4 months or so during Covid 2021 summer into fall. We were very pleased. We only stopped because our dinner schedules never lined up. But it was nice, very pleased.😎☃️
Jenn…Former contact lens wearer here: you may need reading glasses. I wore contacts for years and found that I couldn’t read close up. I bought some readers and my close vision improved. But it hated that I was wearing contacts AND reading glasses. Went to progressive glasses and it’s better… but maybe I’ll check out Lasix next year.
10/10 recommend the Away luggage! It’s not cheap but also not crazy expensive and mine has lasted me years! I have the bigger carry on and the large and it’s definitely worth it!
I know that this is a older video but I just want to say I absolutely love little Jackson's shirt. Y'all are awesome parents
I used to work for Lovesac, so I am VERY biased, however, I also hate the seam for the chaise part of the couch. But I also feel that it is balanced out by being able to rearrange and adapt to what ever I need at the moment, at a moments notice. I’ve had to take every seat and spread them out for a meeting in my home, and in the same night, move it from individual seating to a guest bed for a friend staying over. It only took ~25 minutes in total from couch to individual to bed.
My grandson did the bass fishing at Disney. He loved it.
hi tim, jen & jackson. i love the blue mouse mat. my favourite & best luggage, is my mickey mouse luggage (suitcase). thanks for showing me disney, & busch gardens. thanks. pamela tritton
I highly recommend home chef. We have never had any issues, and they offer some great options.
I was going to say this. When I used blue apron, sometimes they missed ingredients, but it never happened with home chef. Plus home chef is suuuuper flexible with options and subbing out proteins.
Thank you for your recommendation 😊
Concrete Pads look like what you will sometimes find on a frisbee golf course. I’m thinking there used to be frisbee golf there.
I'm glad to be tuning in to see Jackson wearing his mask. I'm guessing it may be more difficult to vlog since the pandemic started but better safe than sorry. Love your vlogs.
Jackson was born into the pandemic at around 4 months old. This is all he knows, pandemic life. It will probably be odd for him when it's over.
Hey Jen
Love Those rainbow backpack straps. Will you show us your backpack again?
Thanks!
Love your glasses . I had contacts and i had mono vision one was for near and other eye for far
omg I just now caught the part where jackson says "hay siri tell me joke" so cute
Love watching and listening to Jackson. I would have to spend more money on durable luggage so it will last longer.
We buy cheap luggage!! Vineyard Vines is Cape Cod.Cute Video guys!!❤️
I checked out that mall when I was in Orlando in 2020... it was actually really nice! Good selection of stores
at the park, maybe the cement squares was the base, for caravans. (like fortwilderness).
I LOVE WATCHING YOU ALL AT HOME. I LOVE YOU ALL 💘.
Jen, I love your hair & makeup at the end of the video! So pretty 💕
