I've been suicidal before, and one of the hurdles for me when pulling myself out of it (with lots of help), was convincing myself that the argument against suicide wasn't ultimately a creed of the governing class, wanting to make sure their efficiency in the workforce wasn't reduced or disrupted by unexpected death. Business in general suffers from suicide. Think about that. Is there any business outside the coroner's office that doesn't have some monetary gain potentially jeopardized or reduced by suicide? And I *hated* that. I hated that in every plea to keep me alive, I felt like I saw a black suit behind the person's words. I wanted to die in part to spite that philosophy, to spite that faceless figure. I think it would ease the minds of the suicidal if they lived in a world that was less hellbent on exploiting their labor. It's more difficult to justify one's existence if it primarily consists of a meaningless grind to fulfill other men's dreams.
However, it's still not a viable reason to take your own life. Because the truth is that family and friends will be devastated forever if you take your own life. For their sakes, life is worth living. Sorry, this isn't really related to the video. Just needed to rant.

I had the same thought about the workforce part. I thought it's maybe in the best interest of the governing class to keep the working class alive.

@@Brad4Ellis I've been watching that debate closely Brad. I understand the trepidation of any man who puts his dreams and soul into a business, only to watch it flounder because of circumstances beyond his control. But I would rather that man live to see another day, than succumb to this plague by making themselves a martyr for the U.S. economy.

    Awesome discussion!
Why does a benevolent God allow something as horrible as cancer in children? Well, the best explanation I’ve ever heard was from a pediatric nurse who worked with literally thousands of children with varying degrees of cancer. She said that in observing these children they seemed mostly okay with what life had given them-it just seemed that they had a certain time to live and they lived the lives they were given. She said that children, as cancer patients, never seemed to worry about complaining about their affliction (the adults around them seemed to do the most suffering.)
So, perhaps God didn’t say everyone gets the same amount of time to be here. We just imagine he did…

Ok, let's analyze this a little bit. All terrible things happen because of Adam and Eve.
There are trillions and trillions and ... of bad things that happen all the time, including Covid-19 which you say was caused by Adam and Eve.
Every year, nearly 11 million children die before reaching their fifth birthday, most from preventable causes. (see below)
While I'm writing this I heard about a crash of an airplane in India. There are commercials on so I don't know exactly.
So all bad things such as the above which are just tiny, tiny examples of the total, are caused by Adam and Eve. And when did Adam and Eve go wrong? What happened to forgiveness? Are people today responsible for Adam and Eve from 150,000 years ago?
      Aren't the children innocent?
Adam lived between 120,000 and 156,000 years ago. (see below)
      From Netscape:
They used these variations to create a more reliable molecular clock and found that Adam lived between 120,000 and 156,000 years ago. A comparable analysis of the same men's mtDNA sequences suggested that Eve lived between 99,000 and 148,000 years ago
Every year, nearly 11 million children die before reaching their fifth birthday, most from preventable causes. That is approximately, 30, 000 children per day. Another 300 million children suffer from illnesses caused by lack of clean water, poor nutrition and inadequate health services and care.
