Great video! 2:47 If multiplex PCR requires that the template size does not vary too much, how would it be detected separately on the agarose gel as they would be having similar molecular weights?
Could you please help me by sharing my contents with your friends group/ college group. I put huge efforts in making these videos but unfortunately not a lot of people are watching this.
Awesome 3 minutes . Thanks a lot. each of my samples contains one bacteria and one virus. Can I use multiplex pcr to quantify them in each sample and compare those ?
@@dr.urmibhattacharjee6919 yes you can, if the pcr product size is different lets say 400bp for bacteria specific gene and 600bp for virus specific gene then its possible .

Is it that although the amplicon size must not differ too much it must still be different enough so that distinct bands may be observed during gel electrophoresis?

hello, I do not understand English very well I speak French but I found your video great however there is one thing that I would like to know in the tube we put the patient's DNA only then the primers of different viruses and we look at gel electrophoresis whether it's to amplify or not. my question is at no time we add the DNA or the viral DNA viruses can you answer me please even in English I will understand thank you
Thank you so much for the explanation. It clarified my confusions.

Feels like this video could be sponsored by SpeeDx - same fundamental but totally different molecular biology
Great video
To the point

Il est nécessaire d'ajouter l'ADN du virus dans un autre tube et faire le même PCR pour le positive contrôle
Viral DNA is already present in the patient's sample. No need to add it separately.
Thank you ❤️
