2 things I noted: in Lockdown, Antigua weapons are reliable cause of their fast hit speed, making them a good option for a striker to finish off enemies. The other thing is that the mention of using this gun as a swordsman brought me to the idea of why this could be the case and found as answer that you easily can deal damage with them while closing the gap. Also, Antiguas are great for flinching greavers (at least the Gilded Griffin). Sudaruska and Triglav users also can profit from the carbine for its poison ability while closing the gap in between them, for example after the charge. Nonetheless, keep up that good work and I'll see you next video! #fnd
Wouldn't the antigua also be useful with pulsar? Since pulsar bullets r slow, u can squeeze in some bullets before it gets knockback-ed. And, after the knockback, u can potentially still shoot the target with antigua because of it's long range. So, I think it has good synergy with the pulsar line (maybe even more when u use polaris on an enemy poisoned by obsidian carbine)
@@schatziko7081 ye, but it comes with the price of knocking back at the same time. Antiqua can damage without the knockback of pulsars (or the minor knockback of blasters for that matter). I might test this combo later myself, just to see how it works 😂

Eh, one of the best guides for SK so far. Anyway would you do catalyser? It may looks like a meme gun by everyone, but I could see some good potential about the gun. Also I do think you should explain about status, resistance, mob types, and probably the counter. Thanks for taking your time explaining things to us! There are a lot of newcomers since the quarantine.
A What to Craft guide would be nice. As in, if you want to play gunner what's the first set you should get and which weapons will help you cover the most content easily. And what would be the best endgame sets and the best endgame weapons for each class as well.

One thing you should've mentioned is the fact that using Sentenza is generally better if you don't have damage bonus ultra/max already, since the poison proc is extremely low in Carbine, but that's not a big deal.
Maybe how about it weird hitbox? Sure it's unreliable but sometime it work against some annoying enemies with shield. Autoguns can do the same but Antigua can shoot projectile more accurately without root user in place. I think that is.
I guess to break the meme, a buff is needed. :No speed penalty while shooting (run 'n gun) :Bullets can penetrate through enemies (CC) This may work but, I'm up for criticism.
I think that increasing walk speed while shooting would be great for this gun. Changing it's damage too much might just make it a straight upgrade from blaster even if you don't switch
The guilded griffin is a surprisingly good option as the creatures that are weak to it are fast and dodge a lot. The bullet speed and range make it great for killing them even more than it's blaster variant in my opinion.
I use obsidian carbine on OCH against gremlin mortafires ... Since antigua bullets have a broken pickbox .... Around 10-20% of the bullets can actually pierce through their shield ... But the amount of work to kill it is insane tho

Renkane Stark uvs are pretty hard to understand, especially when it comes to how much status resist you need to block certain attacks in both pvp and pve. That is a good idea.
*intro plays* Alright, today I'm going to be showing you guys the Argent Peacemaker, we'll go ahead and take a closer look at the gun. Now, the Argent is like an older style silver pistol with golden wings attached to the end of the barrel, and its gold and silver colors mix really well together, and, it's a very good looking gun. And I'll go ahead and show you guys the basic and charge attacks. Now the Argent has a very good attack speed and its basic attack consists of six rapidly fired pistol shots, like that, and its charge attack consists of the six pistol shots and once all of those are fired a phoenix shoots out of the barrel, and when the phoenix comes to the end of its flight it explodes over the top of your enemies, so, its one of my favorite charge attacks in Spiral Knights. The Argent is very strong against the Construct and Undead family because it's dealing elemental damage, so we're just ripping these Slags apart. And if we take that 115 damage and times it by it by the six rapidly fired shots, were dealing about 690 damage to an enemy over a few seconds, which is pretty good. Now, the Argent is weak against the Beast and the Gremlin family, and right here we're fighting off some chameleons, not really having much effect against the guys, just like 14 damage so, yuck! Bad stuff. If you do want the Argent you're going to need to buy an antigua to start it off, and to buy an Antigua you're going to need to buy it from a vendor for Jelly Gems, and you get Jelly Gems by defeating the Jelly King. Oh, and all you're going to need 20 Jelly Gems to get the Antigua. So if you want the Argent, first buy the Antigua with 20 jelly gems, then you're gonna want to take your Antigua to a Silversix, and then you can take your Silversix to the Argent Peacemaker. Welcome to episode 8 of Gun Guides, where I show you how to get, use and master every gun family in Spiral Knights. It confuses me as to why this gun in specific has been the most requested gun for me to make a gun about, but this time I'm covering Antiguas.
I like the antigua because it doesn't fill the entire screen with huge blinding special effects, and can reliably hit the dodgy enemies Then again, this game lags a lot for me, and the chaingun weapons are a free ticket back to haven if i stop moving and get hit by something from 5 seconds ago
I run FSC using a BKC/Chaos with a voltedge/blitz but have both an AP and an arcana but am not sure which one to use for finishing off low slags, hit switches, break boxes while moving etc.
Hey, you miss some things about the Antigua: The high speed is good against enemies with low health, like gremlins. Is great for enemies with shields, they don't shield up until get close to you. The long range make it especially good for combos, a combuster charge them switch and land some shots, other combos are pulsars+Antigua; i think the gun shine in situations when you want to do some extra dmg until get to close range and use your sword.
One good thing Antigua has, is that, especially the Argent Peacemaker, it's charged shot, at the right spacing, can basically oneshot Roarmulus twins, it takes every tick of damage and melts. That mechanic also works on sleeping enemy. I don't know if it's known or not but, sleeping ennemies cannot take knockback, so any charge attack like spin attacks and such won't push and instead deal max damage.
Winter Grave and Grim Repeater can one shot every phase of RT aswell, fast infact. To get full damage out of Argent's charge requires you to have atleast ctr high, since the bird projectile takes alot of time to come out.
SK is developed in the united states? the title of this game is spiral knights. isn't this game about swords? i feel like people rather use gun and auto target while standing still. the people i play with...new comers don't like using swords...they don't shield cancel or try to dodge and do the full attack usually leaving them damaged and exposed. 2014 - 2018...again, see people rather use guns. especially in jelly king. I see too many five star vanguard die in JK runs...ah my mistake, it is created by SEGA

@@naveen7529 Basically you aren't wrong there, but shooting more pulsar shots instead is a better damage source normally.

Oh that's true, sometimes antigua shots glitch through thin walls even, but the same can be said about magnus lines as well

I have! It was a ton better back when flash charges were still a thing but now it's just outmatched by most other guns, especially supernova.

If you learn how to switch arcana is too good
The argent is overall better than the arcana in FSC, because the long range and high dps
Arcana with switching is better than AP , it has way more dps, and i think there isnt any range difference in basics range
