Adam Swanson plays "California Here I Come" at the Ragtime Store in Sedalia, Missouri during the 2008 Annual Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival.
Adam is a national treasure and he is only 16 years old.
I hope you can make it to the festival in 2009!

Yep,
Those of us that have known Adam since he was a short little kid (he's grown a bunch!) are always pleased to see him perform.
He is a delight!
Thanks for your nice comment.

So young, so versatile. He obviously love to perform. What a talent he has.
Yes, Ragtime is fun music. But, if you check in to the history of it you'll find that they wear those outfits because they like to, and they look so darn cool.
Happy New Year!
Outstanding. I know this is an old video, but hope you've now achieved great success and if not keep going for it you have a great talent.

It looks to me:He loses sight of the piano when the woman walks in,velbekomme, Who wouldnt, who woudnt. The geni can multitask.
0:54
The part most of us know starts at :54
Ben Heatherman You obviously have not heard the song from back in the days when Al Jolson sang it. The part before 0:54 is the standard written intro to the song. Here ya go, take a listen to old Al, it is a great recording.
