    I think you nailed this video. I agree with every dealbreaker you made. When I got married 16 years ago we were best friends and enjoyed working out together. We shared all types of interests together. Spending time with family was also very important at least once a week for dinner. I think before you get married you need to be on the same page as far as what your future goals are. For example, if you plan on having children one day will you want to stay home with your baby? How many children do you want? One of the major causes of divorce is MONEY! Very important to live a comfortable life but not live beyond your means. For men to fell comfortable bills have to be paid on time. When a man feels confident with his job, life and marriage everyone is happy. Another important factor for a successful marriage. When your husband comes home from work give him 30 minutes to himself to unwind before talking about your day. As women we are emotional creatures and tend to talk a lot because we want to share our day with our husband. Please give him 30 minutes when he gets home and you’ll both be a happier couple. God Bless✝️

    I see people saying that she's not married and should not be making any comments. Wow, and how do you know she didn't learn this from an elder, a personal situation, or just from observing her surroundings? What comes before marriage, air? There are steps leading to marriage and those are the steps she's covering. Not everyone has to be wrist deep in shit to know something, excuse my French. She addressed them all properly and with tact, this is a great start for anyone that is considering marriage. I'm not saying not to ask people that are married but, let's be honest, don't you think their opinion could possibly be biased depending on how they connected with their partner? You have to think about these things... Fools are judgmental but the wise wait and see.

    Great video! Another tip : Your not ready to be married if your still holding on to your past relationships with exes. A lot of people don't know how to let there past go completely to have a better future situations like this hinders people from moving forward because their ex is still popping up at places he knows you will be, showing up your house, still hanging out, and still calling. If you want better you have to do better. Stop entertaining the past and focus on entertaining your present and future because if you don't you will miss your blessing.

    Finding true love begins with Loving yourself. You must know that you are whole, complete and do not need another human being to complete you.
    Then you will recognize and attract people who are vibrating at the same frequency.
    Your life is a mirror. You will only attract that which you are on the inside.
    Love attracts love.
    Two halves will never make a whole.
    You attract your soulmate by becoming your soulmate.

    • @Tynishalewis

I know some will say just leave but how do you leave a person that is totally dependant on you especially if there's kids involved.

    How about a woman or wife who likes happy go lucky a lot and leave her baby to her husband just to go shopping and partying with her friends? I met a lot of women like this. Another wife likes wearing clothes that almost see her boobs? But her husband is proud of it?
    Geez, I have some friends who are like these. In my case, I mostly stay at home reading books, and taking care of the house and pets while my husband is working. He didn't like me to work and we argue a lot every time I ask his permission to work. I want to work because I want to help my husband for the bills. Instead, he sends me to school but I'm tired going to school at my age 30s. Any advice? Thanks Tynisha.

    • @Tynishalewis
      @Tynishalewis  7 років тому

      Maldita Babae I think that even though you are married you still should have some kind of life. So going out with your friends and shopping is okay as long as it's not excessive. If her husband likes to see her boobs then I don't see anything wrong with it as long as she is pleasing him. If you would like to work but your husband does not want you to work then you kind of got to go along with what he says. But you all should have discussed this prior to you getting married to him.

    Great video, but she mentioned about emotions I agree with her, 50 50 and disagree cos at end of the day we are all humans, we can't be happy all the time, am not saying, it good to sad. But they are gonna be good days and bad days soo it part life, his got expert the girl, how she is simple so

    • @Tynishalewis
      @Tynishalewis  6 років тому

      I am not speaking about daily changes of emotion. I am more so speaking about people who have very little emotionally stability.

    • @lindabitwayiki2474
      @lindabitwayiki2474 6 років тому

      Tynisha Lewis yeah I get where you're coming from regarding emotionally unstable, but at same the time, sometimes, it difficult to control it, cos for example if things are not well in a relationship your not gonna pretend all time, you got tell him how u feel sometimes

    • @Tynishalewis
      @Tynishalewis  6 років тому +1

      People who have difficulty controlling their own emotions will find it hard to have a meaningful relationships because as we know emotions move daily (hence the word e-motions) We have to just be aware of where we let them go...

    • @MarNicole76
      @MarNicole76 6 років тому

      Linda Bitwayiki: In cases like this, it’s important to then seek a professional, a therapist to assist you with managing your emotions. Managing your emotions is for your wellbeing and peace. If the relationship disrupts that then it’s time to examine if marriage counseling will work or an exist plan is necessary.

  • @skyek.1787
    @skyek.1787 5 років тому

    If you can't be comfortably financially dependent on your husband, you shouldn't be having babies with that person. A marriage is about trust and working together. Nothing wrong with a woman cooking, cleaning, and rearing the kids without throwing a job into the mix. That's honest work already, and any decent man knows and respects that. Hope you become ready to get married one day, girl.

    • @Tynishalewis
      @Tynishalewis  5 років тому

      I get your point but cooking, cleaning, and raising kids is not a 24hr/day job. A smart woman is not fully depending on a man’s income in today’s society. I was married 8 years, so I guess that day has come and gone.🤷🏽‍♀️

    Good points but how do you know if you're just a girlfriend? No shade just asking...I say that to say those are the basics but marrage is deep and tough knowing what people don't usually talk about is just deeper for a wife or long term "live with" relationship. Either way good video.

      Pretty much everyone has something that they take medication for. Don’t let your bipolar disease get in the way of your happiness. The man that loves you will fall in love with the women (you) that stands before him. Trust in God that he has a beautiful life planned for you.😊
