This was great video and I believe that is an amazing question to ask. I am currently still waiting for my husband but I remember awhile back when God told me to slow down and not to move out my singleness season to early. We rush harvest season and did not build the storehouse therefore everything reaped has no where to go because we were ill-prepared. Waiting can be discouraging but when you get anxious while waiting, give that to God. Those feelings are normal but just dont stay in your feelings, I am speaking from experience. I find peace in waiting as I am operating in my purpose. Before I couldnt get marriage off my mind, I wanted a husband, I wanted a family but I didnt want to sit and think about it all day (thats what I found myself doing) and I prayed about it and then I was led to change my prayers and I started praying about my purpose and where God wanted me to be, I shifted my focus and I still desire marriage but I have learned balance and I dont want marriage more than i want purpose. In our singleness we should be our main focus, becoming the best versions of ourselves and my aunt says create an attractive life for yourself and it will attract the right mate. Happy waiting sisters, good things come to those who wait and those who are prepared. Become a wife (before the husband) and the husband will come

I desire to be married one day but I know Im not quite ready yet even though Im 30 now. I'm waiting and God is still working on my character. I wasted too much time on the wrong guys not trusting God. So I decided to give my 30th year to God and went on a year long dating fast.

I absolutely love the way Jesus is using to speak to me on these things that I already knew && things that I am working on now even being in a relationship because I not only want to be a better person for my relationship && partner but to/for God, as well! People often think of a relationship as a straight line just you && your partner BUT it’s a triangle where God remains at the top && is the focus and from your individual relationships with him, that’s how you learn to connect to each other. On the last point... I can't ask God for a husband and then stay in my house. Make opportunities to meet people not just men. I have a Christian friend who met her husband online. No man will just turn up you have to be out socialising.
Aspiring I agree! When you’re doing what God calls you to and you’re where He needs you to be, you’re making yourself available to be found. It’s possible to meet your future husband online if God leads you to that, and it’s important not to take our love life into our own hands.

Love watching your videos! They are full of the Lord's anointing!! He is always guiding me to videos that confirm what I have received from Him in our intimate time or even conversations or one on one Bible studies with others. Truly seeking Him through this transitioning from knowing who I am called to be but trying to fit into the world. Been through a lot of horrible things from childhood to my adult years. A lot of strongholds He is breaking in my life and I just keep seeking Him! Channels like yours gives me encouragement and hope! Will be starting my alone time tomorrow and my Proverbs 31 ninety day book Monday. My 7 children need me to guide them to Christ and I am on my way to fulfilling what He has called me to do! Writing Holy Spirit filled songs, poetry, and opening my Christian based Psychologist office to help abused women and children! I thank God my worldly desires have left me because I know I will get my husband in His time. You truly hit the nail on the head about doing your thing with Jesus and not having a backup plan for trusting Him to bring you your husband. Every time I started a relationship without Him being first ended in a while bunch of my heart being broken and me be abused. Love how our Father can restore everything when you allow Him to completely take over. Please pray for my children and I that generational curses are broken with us! You must prepare by sowing good spiritual fruits && daily cultivating your spiritual soil so that when you do find yourself in the position of considering marriage with your future husband you can reap the fruits of your labor. Become a wife before you are a wife. “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”.
I am at that point where I'm trying to learn how to hear God the right way because there are some points where I know, in hindsight, that I just did not get the message right. I find myself tempted to hold on to other stuff, like you know, in case I did not hear God right yet again. And as I am sort of 'transitioning' I wonder how should I be in trusting God, should I just rush in and not worry about not hearing right? Cause I find myself losing trust in the process of praying and waiting for an answer because it has failed before, though of course It was my doing. I really loved this video by the way.❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing that. Faith is a muscle, and as long as you feel the small voice is prompting you to do something that aligns with God's word and characteristics, I'd say step out. It's good to be cautious, but we can tend to be so cautious that we don't move. Stay prayerful, and keep doing that until you build that faithful endurance to know the difference. Also, it helps to have people and community around you that have a close relationship with God as well.

Hi, I just subscribed for your channel and must say I have been inspired. My boyfriend and I broke up last year. Truth is I have prayed about it and believe God will send the right man to my life. But recently I found myself thinking about my ex and I pray for him and even though he said alot of hurtful things to me, what I feel for him hasn't really changed. I sent him an email today and said a few things about coming to term with reality and the progress I have made over time by God's grace but I feel that wasn't or was the best decision. Thank you for sharing that! I think sometimes we can open doors back up that should have been closed because we feel we need closure or to formally address some things. Keep your focus on God and don't allow anything to get in the way of staying fully committed to Him. You dated your ex because I'm guessing you loved him, so there will always be reasons you might feel connected to him. Ask God to sever that connection.

Its a learning process just like parenting. No one is « ready ». You’ve never been married before you get married. You’ll find situations you had thought of on paper, prayed about, imagined but through marriage, God will shape and mood you in the image of His Son. Even with all your ducks in a row and the seemingly perfect candidate profile, challenges you hadn’t foreseen might turn your world upside down. Much more than being ready to become a wife, is it a journey you’re ready to embark on, willing to learn to give up your needs and desire of control and grow in Christ by letting Him be the Lord of you life, surrending your desire of a perfect godly marriage and spouse to Him. Édit. I think the reason I say it’s not about being ready is that I think many in their single season are led to believe that they don’t find their spouse because they are « not ready ». Im not sure we can say that it has nothing to do with getting married or not.

I do not want to be naive, I believe at the moment I am certain of this decision to be with someone who is on Death row. Those around me are not supportive and believe it is not realistic. I wish that you had your blog and your UA-cam channel when I was 18!!! I lost my virginity at 20, and it was an accident( caught in the moment). And I'm still with my 1st, but he still hasn't married me yet,and not to mention I just had his baby. I've only been with him, and I'm his first as well, but not because he wanted to save himself, he just hadn't got "lucky" yet. However, since I was a little girl, and with me growing up in Catholic school and going to church every Sunday, I knew that I wanted to wait until I got married. Now, I feel like I'm stuck with a man that won't do what I've been praying for him to do, he has every excuse in the book. I'm going on 25, and we've been together since we were 18!!! Please tell me what I should do. I don't want to just give up, but then I also don't want to stay with him because he's my 1st and we have history.
The only thing I can tell you to do is focus on God. Your walk needs to be solid in order for you to know God's will. You could end up with a lovely marriage to this man, or it might be something you have to walk away from. Only God knows, so keep praying, reading your Bible and asking to hear His voice. Ask for clear confirmation on the next steps you need to do to take care of yourself and your precious child. Also, ask God to send you the right community of Christians that are going to support you and give you wise counsel. I'm praying for you, and I'm sorry you're going through this.
EmeraldNinee I personally believe that God can bring your husband to you without you having to go out of your way to make something happen. Most people I’ve met who are happily married in a God-centered marriage were just being obedient to God and going about their everyday life when they crossed paths with their spouse. This doesn’t mean it’s impossible to find a husband on an online dating site, but if you’re using it as a backup plan or because you’ve given up hope or are tired of waiting, you may end up out of God’s will. I’d recommend staying away from it altogether. If God can fly me to California on a trip with my friends in order for me to meet my husband, I know He’s capable of anything. I can't ask God for a husband and then stay in my house. Make opportunities to meet people not just men. I have a Christian friend who met her husband online. No man will just turn up you have to be out socialising.
Aspiring I agree! When you’re doing what God calls you to and you’re where He needs you to be, you’re making yourself available to be found. It’s possible to meet your future husband online if God leads you to that, and it’s important not to take our love life into our own hands.

Love watching your videos! They are full of the Lord's anointing!! He is always guiding me to videos that confirm what I have received from Him in our intimate time or even conversations or one on one Bible studies with others. Truly seeking Him through this transitioning from knowing who I am called to be but trying to fit into the world. Been through a lot of horrible things from childhood to my adult years. A lot of strongholds He is breaking in my life and I just keep seeking Him! Channels like yours gives me encouragement and hope! Will be starting my alone time tomorrow and my Proverbs 31 ninety day book Monday. My 7 children need me to guide them to Christ and I am on my way to fulfilling what He has called me to do! Writing Holy Spirit filled songs, poetry, and opening my Christian based Psychologist office to help abused women and children! I thank God my worldly desires have left me because I know I will get my husband in His time. You truly hit the nail on the head about doing your thing with Jesus and not having a backup plan for trusting Him to bring you your husband. Every time I started a relationship without Him being first ended in a while bunch of my heart being broken and me be abused. Love how our Father can restore everything when you allow Him to completely take over. Please pray for my children and I that generational curses are broken with us! God Bless you and your beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your life with us and allowing God to use you!

You must prepare by sowing good spiritual fruits && daily cultivating your spiritual soil so that when you do find yourself in the position of considering marriage with your future husband you can reap the fruits of your labor. Become a wife before you are a wife. “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”.

I am at that point where I'm trying to learn how to hear God the right way because there are some points where I know, in hindsight, that I just did not get the message right. I find myself tempted to hold on to other stuff, like you know, in case I did not hear God right yet again. And as I am sort of 'transitioning' I wonder how should I be in trusting God, should I just rush in and not worry about not hearing right? Cause I find myself losing trust in the process of praying and waiting for an answer because it has failed before, though of course It was my doing. I really loved this video by the way.❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing that. Faith is a muscle, and as long as you feel the small voice is prompting you to do something that aligns with God's word and characteristics, I'd say step out. It's good to be cautious, but we can tend to be so cautious that we don't move. Stay prayerful, and keep doing that until you build that faithful endurance to know the difference. Also, it helps to have people and community around you that have a close relationship with God as well.

Hi, I just subscribed for your channel and must say I have been inspired. My boyfriend and I broke up last year. Truth is I have prayed about it and believe God will send the right man to my life. But recently I found myself thinking about my ex and I pray for him and even though he said alot of hurtful things to me, what I feel for him hasn't really changed. I sent him an email today and said a few things about coming to term with reality and the progress I have made over time by God's grace but I feel that wasn't or was the best decision. Thinking about that made me to stumble on your UA-cam videos. Thanks
Thank you for sharing that! I think sometimes we can open doors back up that should have been closed because we feel we need closure or to formally address some things. Keep your focus on God and don't allow anything to get in the way of staying fully committed to Him. You dated your ex because I'm guessing you loved him, so there will always be reasons you might feel connected to him. Ask God to sever that connection.

Its a learning process just like parenting. No one is « ready ». You’ve never been married before you get married. You’ll find situations you had thought of on paper, prayed about, imagined but through marriage, God will shape and mood you in the image of His Son. Even with all your ducks in a row and the seemingly perfect candidate profile, challenges you hadn’t foreseen might turn your world upside down. Much more than being ready to become a wife, is it a journey you’re ready to embark on, willing to learn to give up your needs and desire of control and grow in Christ by letting Him be the Lord of you life, surrending your desire of a perfect godly marriage and spouse to Him.
Édit. I think the reason I say it’s not about being ready is that I think many in their single season are led to believe that they don’t find their spouse because they are « not ready ». Im not sure we can say that it has nothing to do with getting married or not.

Kytia, I came across your videos today and they have absolutely provided me with so much to contemplate on. The wisdom you are sharing from your own experiences is priceless. I do not want to be naive, I believe at the moment I am certain of this decision to be with someone who is on Death row. Those around me are not supportive and believe it is not realistic. I wish that you had your blog and your UA-cam channel when I was 18!!! I lost my virginity at 20, and it was an accident( caught in the moment). And I'm still with my 1st, but he still hasn't married me yet,and not to mention I just had his baby. I've only been with him, and I'm his first as well, but not because he wanted to save himself, he just hadn't got "lucky" yet. However, since I was a little girl, and with me growing up in Catholic school and going to church every Sunday, I knew that I wanted to wait until I got married. Now, I feel like I'm stuck with a man that won't do what I've been praying for him to do, he has every excuse in the book. I'm going on 25, and we've been together since we were 18!!! Please tell me what I should do. I don't want to just give up, but then I also don't want to stay with him because he's my 1st and we have history.
The only thing I can tell you to do is focus on God. Your walk needs to be solid in order for you to know God's will. You could end up with a lovely marriage to this man, or it might be something you have to walk away from. Only God knows, so keep praying, reading your Bible and asking to hear His voice. Ask for clear confirmation on the next steps you need to do to take care of yourself and your precious child. Also, ask God to send you the right community of Christians that are going to support you and give you wise counsel. I'm praying for you, and I'm sorry you're going through this.

EmeraldNinee I personally believe that God can bring your husband to you without you having to go out of your way to make something happen. Most people I’ve met who are happily married in a God-centered marriage were just being obedient to God and going about their everyday life when they crossed paths with their spouse. This doesn’t mean it’s impossible to find a husband on an online dating site, but if you’re using it as a backup plan or because you’ve given up hope or are tired of waiting, you may end up out of God’s will. I’d recommend staying away from it altogether. If God can fly me to California on a trip with my friends in order for me to meet my husband, I know He’s capable of anything.
