If you can schedule it to finish the charge around 90-100% and drive it soon after then actually it is good for the battery. Lithium battery does not like if it is fully charged and sitting and not soon after it is full.
I have a question, when the rear seats are folded, do they look smashed after sleeping the whole night? Do they take excessive wear, when folded and sleeping on top of them? Because on my car when the seats are folded and I am transporting something heavy , after that the seats look bad and smashed and it takes time for them to recover their original shape. BTW great video!
Thanks for the comment! So I was thinking my car would do the same thing, but actually the seats look fine! We just drove from Florida to California (4 days) fully loaded, seats down and they look like nothing happened!
That looked like a perfect Easter trip! Nice video. One practical point I am curious about is whether the "camp" mode actually allows for high-speed charging, or disables it. The manual does not say much; the following is from the FAQ of a mattress manufacturer for Teslas (fyi): "8. Do not sleep in your vehicle while it charges, high voltage and amperage transfers present a risk for resting occupants."
Do you think that sleeping in my model 3 might be putting my health at risk? I removed the back seat bench. Now that I've seen that orange high voltage connector right under the seat, I'm second guessing putting down the backseats and sleeping in the car usually right on top of that high voltage connector. I'm curious to hear what you guys think about it. I appreciate your comments. Thanks
Hm, valid point. I know Tesla now sells some sort of Tesla branded mattress, but Elon is about making that money over anything. Now it makes me rethink the whole experience 🤔
I don’t want to use my battery at all while I’m sleeping. Moreover, I know that Teslas automatically close all its windows when they are locked. Hence this question is for a Tesla Model Y. Is it possible to leave some of the windows say an inch down while my car is locked because I like to sleep in my car with the windows one inch or half an inch down because I actually enjoy sleeping in a somewhat cool environment and I breathe much better too. I simply do not want to use my AC or fan at all while I’m sleeping in my car. If this is possible (leaving the windows a little bit open while my car is locked), can you please give me the control recipe for that?
Oh man I know the feeling!! So I was debating to buy one or not for sooo long because of that. Here is the thing, you will never have to charge the battery from zero to 100. You can get about 70 miles a night from regular outlet (that's what I do, with a small extension cord from my window, my parking spot is right up front). So you'll get 6 mph from regular outlet, 30 on average from ev chargers around and super chargers will charge from 0 to 100 in 45 min, Ive used it once, never really had to. If you buy, use my link so we get the supercharging miles :)
@@Roman.the.explorer thanks a lot! So 110 volt regular outlet is slow charging right? With the slow charge it will decrease the battery with AC on right? Sorry I'm asking basic questions as I don't have any electric car yet.
Like this comment if you ever slept in the car!
Telsa has camp mode now and that will make keeping the temperature steady easier.
Love your energy in your vids. At 10:51, you mentioned "5 foot 12" which cracked me up! 😂
😂😂
10/10 editing dude well done
Appreciate it!

Good points, i def need to look into that, thanks!
Why you need a super charger while you re sleeping?
If I recall it right, it was about making use of free charging for owners while needing a stopover anyway.
The best car to sleep in 🥰🥰🥰I enjoyed the video, especially that morning part and a dog 🐕 ❤️
Right, and the best dog! 🥰
1. He had power connector whole night in recharge port
2. Thats awesome!
Haha, thanks!
Wow, love your into, very cool
I grew up in Martin County, know that park well, good video.
Thank you!

Awesome! I’m planning to camp with mine soon. Thanks!
Nice! You will live it!
AWESOME video, thank you

Sorry for a late reply. Go to controls in your Tesla app on the phone and hit "vent" that's it!
Here in America we call being 5’ 12’’ just 6 feet lmao saying 5’ 12’’ just sounds weird lol
Thanks for clearing that, noted. Metric system is the way to go lol
Dope content as always!
Thank you, glad you like it! 🤟
Cool stuff man
🤟🤟
Why not use the nema?
I think I did use 14-50
@@Roman.the.explorer nice

Hey living in an apartment, where do you charge? I live in Miami, Florida and charging is discouraging me from buying one

how tall are ya and can you stretch out fully comfortably?
5.9 and yes!
Which build year is the tesla? 2019?
2021!
@@Roman.the.explorer ah, thanks for the info
If ur 6’2 can you sleep flat on ur back??
Might be a bit tight! Im 5 9 and have a bit free room
Cool tesla model 3
Thank you! I love it, planning to paint the rims gun metal, black out the logos and need that tint haha!
Imagine if you wake up in the middle of the night to see a person looking straight at you
LMAO right!
did it charge well while AC was ON all night?
Yep
As long as it's not 110 volt regular outlet, that thing will just consume all the energy towards ac and will charge zero
@@Roman.the.explorer thanks a lot! So 110 volt regular outlet is slow charging right? With the slow charge it will decrease the battery with AC on right?

Yeah it's about 7 miles an hour
