A lot of people have some misconceptions of The Satanic Temple, and I'm here to say it has nothing to do with Satan. The only reason Satan is there is simply for the fact that religious governments take away a lot of rights from people. They have a list of their ideals, similar to the 10 Commandments, available online, if you're interested. Essentially, it's a civil rights group. They do a lot of charity and last I heard they were fighting for abortion rights in Texas.

If you're going to allow religious activities in school, then you have to allow for all religious activities in school... There is good reasoning for separation of church and state. The Satanic Temple is specifically ONLY setting up shop in schools that already host Christian clubs. The Supreme Court ruled that under the free exercise clause of the 1stA: religious after school clubs ARE constitutional, as long as the school doesn't discriminate between religions. That's actually how the 1stA works, if the government bans religion it must ban ALL religion. If it allows religion, it must allow ALL religions. It can do one or the other, but what it expressly cannot do is pick and choose which religion to allow and which to ban. They must all be equal under the law.
