There is a fan theory that the Skywalker Saga as seen in the films is told from R2's perspective. Along with C3PO, they were the only ones in every episode of the saga, and if you think about the medical droid saying that Padme had died of a broken heart, it kind of makes sense from a droid perspective, for whom the exact role of the Force in her death would escape him.
I once read a theory that all of the Skywalker Saga is the story being recounted by R2 as an unreliable narrator. I find it unlikely, and it's just a fan theory, but I kind of enjoy the idea.
Given that R2-D2 witnessed all of the scenes in the first six episodes, when Luke finds out that Leia is his sister, he should have turned to R2 and said, "Dude... a little heads up would have been nice??"
Ive always wondered why/how Anakin (after becoming Vader) and Yoda don't remember R2-D2 as the story progresses. Especially how Anakin doesn't recognize/remember C3-PO 🤔
I think it's a classic case of "can't" meaning "won't." The company that makes those rocket boosters won't replace them. Maybe they even stopped making them, but other parts, they can be more easily repaired or replaced.
10 things you didn't know about R2 because you never saw star wars... just naming a bunch of things R2 did and everyone knows if they actually watched star wars
you forgot to mention that he started by serving Padme
Most knew that already, it’s kinda obvious if you just watch episode 1

Darth Vader: "kneel to Lord Vader... and his loyal companion Lord D2"
Lucas originally planned on R2D2 being the narrator of all 6 films to the Whills. That is most likely why R2D2 never had his memory wiped unlike C3PO.
#11: he tried to warn the grandmaster not to stroll on that beach but he didn't listen
It was R2 who threw the hackie sack!! 🤣🤣🤣
Sequels did him dirty barely giving him screen time
They gave him such little screen time I forgot he existed in the sequels because bb-8 was the new astromech droid
Im surprised R2 isnt a jedi by now
Yeah. I thought it would’ve been a cool twist if R2 was secretly a force sensitive Droid that both the Sith and Jedi was unaware of.
At 2:57
Favorite Jedi Master....
Obi-Wan Kenobi, as portrayed by Alec Guinness....
7:00 Cause lucas was pulling stuff out of his ass. This bit, and amongst others.

I wonder what the history of other Astro droids is?
R2: Getting main characters out of a rough situation is very easy barely an inconvenience.
R2-D2 is the greatest film character of all time.

He flies now.😁

🤔
I thought Star Wars was from the book of the Whills as told by R2D2
In the original novelization of "The empire strikes back", Artoo was too reluctant to go to Tatooine with Luke... and now we know why.
If there is no way to replace parts after they are damaged, how did they repair R2 every time he was damaged in the original trilogy?

Also, as the Mandalorian showed, parts can be fabricated by skilled enough crafts people.
What is your favorite Jedi master of all time? @WhatCultre Star Wars
R2 is so adorable, it`s the blue lol
Id prefer red or purple myself.
My favorit Jedi Master of all time would be Anakin Sky.... oh wait...
I like R2-D2
The original 6 films were actually told from the perspective of R2D2 and C3PO
He's a Sith Lord.
10 things you didn't know about R2 because you never saw star wars... just naming a bunch of things R2 did and everyone knows if they actually watched star wars
It’s never said in the visual media, movies and shows, what his name stands for
Master Yoda.❤
Coleman Trebor
Never underestimate Samuel L. Jackson.
There should be a book about R2D2 telling stories about things he'd seen over the years. And call it " from a certain point of view"
Arturito=R2D2
#1 because he knows how & when to keep his mouth shut
Why u talk like that 😂😂😂
You mean the way he draws out words? It is annoying isn't it
@@vintvarner16 yes indeed, most annoying thing I have ever heard.
Quite a few UA-cam creators do it, and it's completely annoying.
It's difficult for me to watch entire videos by them..
I like that the copyright symbol says cartoon Network but in reality Disney own$ Star wars, I think you made a mistake!
when was that specific episode out, and when did Disney acquire the rights for star wars?
Cartoons don’t count
