Armani Privé has so many nice scents!! I had so many mention Thameen the last months.. I keep forgetting about checking them out, but will see if I can find a sample set. Thanks for sharing!!
An interesting point about Oud Ispahan. Ispahan was the name of a city in Persia ( now Isfahan in Iran ) and is famous because of its rose gardens; where apparently Rosa 'Ispahan' was discovered in a garden.
I appreciate the knowledge, many people give opinions but have no knowledge about what they are talking about. I let a friend smell a small bottle of authentic oud and he never wanted to wear cologne again😀
In my opinion these two should be on the list as they are legendary and awesome: Yves Saint Laurent M7 and Creed Royal Oud. Then I'd suggest Penhaligon's Halfeti Leather (or even original Halfeti) in place of Chopard Oud Malaki. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences, so enjoyed your list and hearing your opinions! 😊👍

Great list to include Dior Ispahan and ADP Oud. Both are really outstanding fragrances. Some of my personal oud fragrances will be Diptyque Oud Palao, Zegna Indonesian Oud and Guerlain Oud Essentiel.
The Zegna is fantastic! I wanted to include it but also wanted to keep this to 12 fragrances. It's such a warm, deep and rich oud that's a pure joy to wear 👌 Thanks for sharing!
Loved this one very much, I am curious to try Acqua di Parma Oud in particular. I'm a big fan of Oud Wood which performs quite well on me strangely and I love Oud for Greatness. A couple incredible Ouds worth trying are Xerjoff Alexandria II, Creed Royal Oud and my personal favourite fragrance ever (at the moment lol) which isn't really an oud centric but contains oud, Amouage Jubilation XXV.
Thanks for sharing! I can't remember how Royal Oud smells like. Is the performance better than Aventus? (Creed fragrances rarely perform well on my skin). Acqua di Parmas oud is a scent I feel is quite unique.. A nice choice for someone who loves woody and oudy scents. A warm, woody and oudy scent with just the right dose of leather to it and their sort of signature citrus on top. Feels very classy and elegant and one of the scents from AdP that actually performs quite well. A lot of AdP fragrances have sort of average performance (their blue line for example does not perform well at all) but this has quite nice longevity and projection. Please do share how you find it if you try it out 😊
I like TF oud wood but yeah it's not the strongest. It happened that I attended an event recently and I couldn't smell it on myself after a couple of hours so I topped it up with Gocci intense oud, and that did the trick. I also think that value for money the scale tilts towards Gocci intense oud.
I never tried colognia oud but I just ordered a 100ml bottle of acqua di parma oud eau de parfum. Just loved it right away when I tested it in store so I had to buy it !. It has warmth but it has a lot of freshness too, wich is not common in oud fragrances. Unique and gorgeus scent 🤩
Thanks for sharing! To me the newer bottles are pretty much the same as the older ones 😊 I think they just rebottled them and removed the 'colonia'. The oud is so nice 👌 I often enjoy the oud by layering it with AdPs 'Ambra'. Basically a woody and ambery scent with a bit of freshness that - when layered with the oud - makes the combo incredibly rich woody, ambery and slightly musky🔥
ADP Oud came in yesterday for me, love the scent it absolutely smells amazing however its longevity either isn't there or I go nose blind to it very quickly, for about the first hour or two I can smell it and then it becomes a skin scent. I say this not because I regret buying the fragrance, I personally love the fragrance. If you are looking for a loud fragrance though this isn't the one for you. ADP is a brand made for the reserved gentleman and their colognes reflect that. Now I will say I would like it to project just a little bit more than what it does but to be far I do tend to spray lightly(3-5 sprays max) so tomorrow I will go ham on the sprays and come back to this comment and relay how it goes.

I keep forgetting about Dirty English 👀 I never tried anything from Oros.. That one looks very interesting! How is the incense in it (super picky with incense) and is there a prominent dose of leather in it? (love the scent of leather)
@rottenrebels I highly recommend his stuff, alot of people hate on his stuff but I literally get chased down by people when I wear his stuff and no other fragrance brand has ever gotten me such an intense reaction. Notorious, Oud, Tabac, Hard Candy, Boss Bastard, Raw Cherry, Daddy and Onyx Extreme are all absolutely incredible beast mode scents. The recently and very unfortunately discontinued Patchouli Noir is my all time favorite fragrance out of my just over 600 fragrances. Please please please check it out.
@rottenrebels Aaron is a very eccentric person, I don't think it's so much an issue with his fragrances as it is with the man himself. Personally I don't understand what his personality has to do with the quality of his products but people are sensitive sometimes and make things werid. Look up his youtube channel and you will understand, he posts very pretentious reviews. He has toned it down some recently but his early reviews are very eccentric and kind of know it all like. Personally I found them interesting but others found them offensive. But anyways he makes great fragrances and you should check them out, 10ml is between 20 - 40 and you don't need much so they last.
The best thing that the clone of Oud for Greatness called Oud for Glory is SOOOO close by smell but in my opinion it is a bit different having that leather note.
My friend, I have one for you that if you haven't tried it yet is going to knock your socks off. I'm talking about Oud Satin Mood EDP by MFK. It is absolutely beautiful! It is an Oud and Rose combination but it's such an amazing and seductive scent. It has beast mode performance, it lasts on your skin 12+ hours. Trust me, try it if you haven't yet.
I have Gucci Intense Oud and Chopard Oud Malaki. I love them both! They are some of the most worn fragrances in my collection. Both of them make me want to add more Oud fragrances to my collection. Is a good Oud scent I can wear in the spring and summer?
Hi! Most oud scents can definitely be worn during spring. For summer I would go with oud scents that are not too intense and that are not sort of "animalic" or too 'smoky'. I've found that lighter oud scents (or more overall balanced blends) develop in a really nice way when it's a bit warm, but some of the quite intense and sort of animalic/funky ouds can become cloying and does not always develop in a nice way.
@@rottenrebels My favourites are wood & spices, patchouli leaves, honey aoud and I've mentioned before 'fantastic basilic' - a green, punchy fresh cut basil scent.
Awesome choices my friend! I still need to get my nose on some of these, oud for greatness is still my fav oud. Have you ever tried thameen carved oud? It’s a better and deeper version of oud wood.

First even blindbuy niche perfumes were tom ford oud wood and baccarat Rouge 540. I smelled oud wood I was like what a hideous fragrance but now I like it more.
Dunhill Agar Wood...yes, this fragrance is my good ol'pal. I have to say that after wearing it a while, it is a little bit barnyardy, you really feel this if it gets on your clothes. I really struggled with Oud scents until I found out what a smooth Oud is like: in Memo African Leather - I know you like Italian Leather more, but I find the Oud in African Leather...smooth as f*"k, I like that. Now...I'n waiting for some samples from Aaron Terence Hughes, I heard the Oud in most of his creations is also very polished, let's see how that goes. Thanks for the list 👍😎
@@rottenrebels 5 months later...I tried 5 of Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances and for ME at least...they're a no go. Yes, they are strong, projecting monsters BUT, underneath it all...there is a damn chemical he's using that I simply can't get over. One of them (called Notorious) even left a rash on my skin - I had to wash it 20 min after - mind you that I only used 2 sprays. Now I have to say, this never happened to me with any fragrance. From his line I tried: Notorious, Hard Candy, Guapo, Ozone and Neon. I really enjoyed the opening in all of them and you can feel some very distinctive classy element and high quality in the ingredients he usea, but as I said, deep in the drydown there are some type of chemicals he uses that my nose simply cannot adjust to. My wife smelled a lot of challenging fragrances (among which Amouage Overture and believe it or not she liked that one, even Royal Tobacco and these are by no means mass appealing scents) but she didn't like a single one of Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances, she can also detect the bothersome elements in them. I cannot express my honest opinion on any other channel, all the other youtubers (especially the ones from U K.) swear by his fragrances and his followers can be quite aggressive sometimes. And yes, I initially assumed that they need to macerate and I tried them every month, they got worse for me because meanwhile I sampled more beautiful things and let's just say that my nose got a little better 😎. Maybe I just got a bad batch...of 5 different frangraces...or my nose is completely broken. OR, some substances turn really chemical on my skin, could be that too...but I also sprayed 2 of them on my wife and surprise: the same outcome. I like Aaron as a guy and his reviewing style is extremely calming so to speak. Let me know if you want to try them 🙂 Peace.

Thanks for sharing! I understand that.. The scent of oud is not as mass appealing/likeable of a scent as let's say vanilla, etc. There are however, (just like any other scent really), a lot of different kind of oud scents and some are a lot easier to wear and a lot more mass appealing than others 😊 And then there are those ouds that are very deep, raw, smoky, animalic and what not. Those are often a lot more "challenging" to a lot more people. Most of the ones I share in this video are probably "too light" for someone who enjoys oud like that 😉
I don't want to seem rude at all, and I truly do appreciate your videos, but here's something I think you haven't noticed so far: as well as you say a lot of "really" (s), you also say so many "to me"(s). LOL. Yep. Lots and lots.
@@rottenrebels In the US i know it is. I have family in Germany and got it online when I was there. I have seen it on EBay. It’s expensive but there is real oud in the intense one, and it the center of the fragrance instead of in the background. Plus for me, like you said Oud Wood doesn’t project or last long. The intense does.
Very few fragrances use real oud. Many claim they use real oud, but really don't. The Real thing is very expensive and would spike up the cost of the entire scent by a lot. I don't care if it's real or not as long as it smells of oud and it does so in a good way 😊

@@rottenrebels no ( i mean separately).. but in some cases i used the oil and some not oud fragrances ( layering)
best oud for me cartier oud & oud😊
Thanks for sharing!
Creed Royal Oud and Natura Essencial Oud.
Thanks for sharing! African leather is nice 👌 please share how you like them Aaron fragrances. I have not tried anything from the house
Gentlemen, here is the real list
Nasomatto Black Afgano
Initio Oud For Greatness
Gucci Oud Intense
Parfums de Marly Haltane
Creed Royal Oud
Acqua Di Parma Oud

I’m done with cheap designer and clone oud. Something in synthetic oud that gives me a pounding headache. If you want oud pay for it and it will repay in spades.

@@rottenrebels personally I really like it the Mrs hates it 😅
What about pdm layton exclusiff and the king of kings LV ombre nomade
Layton Exclusif is a nice one! I feel that's an intense woodiness but the oud in it is actually not intense. Quite soft, but nice 😊 I don't have Ombre Nomade. is it one of your favorites?
@@rottenrebels ombre nomade is my absolute favorite and the most complimented every time I wear it I get compliments never fails an absolute king

I would like your opinion on mind games checkmate.
Hi! I have not tried that one 😊 You like it?
@@rottenrebels I do like it , interesting for me.
I gotta be honest, this is not my favorite scent profile. I have bought and tried a few but it just smells off to me.
Most of the ones I share in this video are probably "too light" for someone who enjoys oud like that 😉
Where is Oud satin mood??
I don't have it 😉
Send me your bottle of Tom Ford Oud Wood, if you don't use it! 😂😂😂
Do u got the 76% alcohol oud for?
hi! What do you mean?
@@rottenrebels i mean i’m looking for ur ofg batch
I don't want to seem rude at all, and I truly do appreciate your videos, but here's something I think you haven't noticed so far: as well as you say a lot of "really" (s), you also say so many "to me"(s). LOL. Yep. Lots and lots.
On this list, there is no one, consist real OUD. Just synthetic, accord oud.
toooooo meeeeee
:D
😂👀
Oud wood intense makes up for the poor performance and projection of oud wood.
Thanks for sharing! It's discontinued right?
@@rottenrebels In the US i know it is. I have family in Germany and got it online when I was there. I have seen it on EBay. It’s expensive but there is real oud in the intense one, and it the center of the fragrance instead of in the background. Plus for me, like you said Oud Wood doesn’t project or last long. The intense does.
Now let’s discuss which of these frags use real oud
Very few fragrances use real oud. Many claim they use real oud, but really don't. The Real thing is very expensive and would spike up the cost of the entire scent by a lot.
I don't care if it's real or not as long as it smells of oud and it does so in a good way 😊
Intense oud by gucci too sexy
Out for greatness is bomb I love this shit , longevity and performance is beast mode you smell like a man damit
But where did you find the exlusives to middle-east, like swy oud? I can’t seem to find it anywhere 🧐🥲
