    Have you been using the metal tip for a while now? Is the spen still fine? Because there was a review that said it messed up the inside of the spen because it was too hard. I kinda want a second opinion to this because maybe it was just their problem and the way they use their spen

    • @littlepeaceofhappiness
      @littlepeaceofhappiness  Місяць тому

      Samsung can't guarantee third party nibs for thr spen. So there may be some risks using it. For mines personally, my pen is still working fine. Of course you don't want to push the nib in too far and you also don't want to apply heavy pressure with the metal tip. If you're worried, you can always use the metal tip in a different pen. There are alot of EMR stylus options that will work on the Samsung tablet. The staedler pencil is a great option and you can use the metal tip in there as well. The pencil itself is affordable and could be a nice backup if you're worried about damaging the spen. check out the links in my description!

    Hi, Your videos is good, thumbs up for the effort.
    I have S6 lite, the original spen soft tip and plastic tips (which i purchased separately) were worn out very quickly due to paperlike screen protector. So looking for a more durbale tip now.
    But i fear now that the metal tip ruin the screen protector. And if i use metal tip without screen protector, will it damage the screen?
    Need your advice

    • @littlepeaceofhappiness
      @littlepeaceofhappiness  Рік тому +6

      Hi! Thanks for watching! The metal tip will probably wear down the paperlike screen protector over time. I personally use a paperlike screen protector. I wouldn't feel comfortable using it on the screen directly. It also depends on how much pressure you use. You don't want to press very hard (dig into the screen) just normal writing pressure. Depends on your comfort level.

    which one did you think was better? Original / Plastic / Aluminium?

    • @littlepeaceofhappiness
      @littlepeaceofhappiness  7 місяців тому +2

      I think it depends on what you're going for. The aluminum is long lasting but a little noisy when it runs against the paperlike screen. The original feels nice because it glides against the glass, the only issue is that it won't last long. I did not like the plastic tip at all. it wore down way too fast. Maybe there's a different brand or a better quality hard plastic but the one I tried, I don't recommend.

    • @littlepeaceofhappiness
      @littlepeaceofhappiness  Рік тому +2

      yes, the metal tip is wayyy more durable and is a no wear solution. Just keep in mind that the matte screen protector may have to be replaced every so often instead. You do have to be mindful not to press really hard. You don't want to dig into your screen with the metal tip. You can just let it glide across the screen.

    The best thing is,,, contact the nearest Samsung customer care service in your Town/City in your area(in case of India),,,they will let you know if available,,,they will charge you something like 200-250 rupees,,and you get 2 nibs for that...one black colour (like in original Spen,,, soft one),,, and another white... which is also original Samsung but has hard plastic tip

      I still have the same metal tip and screen on. But I also don't use it on a daily basis. By the look of the metal tip, I can't see it wearing down. The metal tip on the matte screen is more textured when writing or drawing on so its not slippery like using the regular nib on the glass screen protector. I feel I have more control. I think it would still feel grippy using the regular nib on the matte screen as well. It just wouldn't last as long.

    So do you reckon the rubber tips are the optimal choice for a glass screen prot?
    And either plastic or metal tips for a paperlike?
    I dont know anything about tablets or pens so im just trying to do some research before purchase.
    I intend to use a samsung tablet for taking notes and maybe a bit of drawing/painting :)
    I assume the softer of the materials in contact will wear down first if there's friction on the surface, so i guess you get to pick what you feel like replacing more often? replacing plastic tips if paperlike or replacing paperlike if metal tip?
    I'd be happy to hear suggestions on good pentip/screenprot combos :)

    • @littlepeaceofhappiness
      @littlepeaceofhappiness  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I think it really depends on how you want it to feel in your hand.
      If you're painting, then I think the spen that comes eith thr tablet and the rubber tip would be nice because it would glide smoothly with a little bit of friction (very little). I think you can still use a metal tip on the glass screen protector if you don't want the tip to wear as quickly but I wouldn't use the metal tip directly on the screen surface without some type of protector.
      even with the paperlike screen protector, the metal tip still slips against the screen very smoothly. For me, I wouldn't go with thr plastic tip at all unless you find a harder plastic that wouldn't wear as quickly. Thr plastic tip I used in this video wore within the first hour and it was really wasteful.
      Unless you want to try the wacom one pen that has a harder plastic nib and you can use that on the paperlike or glass protector. It wasn't my personal favorite because I felt like it was too slippery across the screen and the tip was too large.

    Hi, I already have for a long time the tempered glass mica on my Samsung s6 lite, but I would like to put the matte paper mica over my current mica, as I would like to try that texture and incidentally the titanium tips that for me are a novelty, do you think I can use double mica (the tempered glass + matte paper)?
