@@SarahWillisHorn more Stefan bitte!? Also if possible horn hangouts with him and the other bassoonist :). Even though I play bassoon always listen to those hangouts.
Absolutely no hiding place when you perform small ensemble music. But everything about this performance made clear that the artists were there to be heard and glorious it was too.

Well Gentlemen and Ladyes-this is players from the worlds best Orchestra,The Berlin Philharmonic….it is not neseserry to say more…..thank you Sarah and friends!! Yours B H
So wonderful performance. BRAVO! It was perfect ensemble. I am a fan of Sarah Willis. I really love her tone. I never know the Horn sound is that beautiful. All were world top rank performer. Thank you. I really enjoyed.
Quintessential quintet conversations of expressions beautiful and bold. Say Sarah dyk that In late 1800s German folk set up Inuit folk with a brass quintet. Did you ever play standing on the peak of a roof? Inuit’s do! They also practiced throat singing - seems like playing the French Horn without a French Horn.
Nice piece- I played it a long time ago. But tuning here is not in place all the way is it….🤔I hear the clarinet struggle with his part here and there. This is Berlin Phil after all…..
Stefan Schweigert, sublime playing as always.
I agree!

It’s always interesting to see German fingering clarinets. Amazing quintet!
Maravilloso 👏 👏 👏
Playing this in the SCGSAH woodwind quintet this year!!
How did it go?
Süper ❤

The flautist looks like John Sheahan from The Dubliners.

Crazy flute. Not sure what that is. Blends nice.
I think it’s by German maker Braun.
Are all bassoonists that cool, or just him, playing that piece?
Sounds somewhat neo-classical.
Oh yea ,definitely horn is the woodest woodwind instrument
This is a traditional quintet form. There are many pieces written this way.

@PW full on in tune?
It is lacking overtones and slightly high in tuning towards the others - sorry
