Yeah I feel the same way, SniperPrincess. Watching these videos brings me back to playing through it for the first time. I already replayed it more than once, but I still miss the game whenever I see it again. What's stopping me from playing it once more is the fact that my Xbox One died some months ago, and I haven't replaced it, nor have I bought a PS4 yet. But even aside from that, the game had some issues, even though it's easily one of the best games I've ever played. One of those gripes of mine is the inventory system. You collect weapons and armor and items and materials, and you return most of that stuff to your inventory chest, but after a while, you have so much in there that loading takes forever, which always bothered me immensely. I haven't played the game in a long time, so the details slipped my mind, but I remember how annoying that aspect of the game got after a while. I think you could sell stuff straight to merchants and Blacksmiths and so on, without having to return to the chest and physically carry all of those items back with you to the merchants.. although I'm not entirely sure of that anymore. You know why we miss the game, even though we can just go back and replay it from scratch again? It's because this game is so good, and so unique in so many ways, that you can compare it to a bunch of grapes, hanging from a branch, but the grapes are just out of reach. You want to pick them, so you stand on your toes and stretch out your arms, reaching for the grapes, but they will always remain just out of reach. You can never truly own them, or have them, no matter how much you desire it, and no matter how much you try. They will always slip through your fingers. I think that's a valid comparison, and somewhat of an explanation for why we feel this way. We miss it, even when we reach out and get in touch with it again. You're never truly satisfied. When applied to a game, then this just goes to show how great the game really is, and that is why The Witcher 3 in my opinion is one of the best games ever made, in any genre. Or maybe that's just me being silly and poetic about it, lol, I don't know.
Another way of completing the Honor virtue; when you're playing through the Tournament, the knight of Rivia will challenge you to a duel. You accept and defeat him, he'll acknowledge your honor and that will complete it.
I have a tip for leveling aerondight too, if you put the replenishment enchant on aerondight and have high sign intensity I.e from the euphoria mutation or griffin gear you can stack up aerondight on humans/beasts as it will do little to no damage and then use the igni effect from replenishment to do massive damage guaranteeing a level up on aerondight.

Best steel has to be Iris, the one you get for saving olgierd, get at least 5ish uninterupted hits and your sword glows red, next strong attack is a auto knockdown
For me it is not the best silver sword, that has to be Gesheft! Aerondight is great as it scales with Geralt but because it doesn't come with rune slots it is a little bad and upgrading the runewright fully is so expansive! HOWEVER, it becomes the best sword easily at the start of a NG+ as it scales. Very nice to have a scaleable silver sword at the start of the game. Now, I am in my third run through, currently in BaW and I a yet to craft the Toussaint steel blade but it looks outstanding! As soon as I am the right level I am crafting it. In case anyone gives a **** I am rocking grandmaster feline armour (all four pieces), Gesheft (the relic one) and Olgierd's steel sword - Iris.

After you beat the first wild hunt guy with Kara Mets and search the laboratory. Turn around and make your way back through some caves ( using the eye she gave you ) and there it is… Totally missed it first time I played through.....
Ami is extremely close with its 982-1200 base damage, 300% armor piercing quen, crit and stun bonuses. Plus it has three empty rune slots that you don’t have to pay for.
Wouldn't really be extremely close though because of the stacking on the aerondight, effectively doubles the damage if you fight with quen and don't get hit, which isn't all that hard.
so Geralt, who basically is a thieving, killing mercenary who wouldn't wipe his own arse without being paid, is the one person worthy of having this sword?
the sword does not rust in the Lake cause silver takes long time to oxidate and moreover silveroxide is protective of the rest of the blade once it has formes on the surface.
@Angel Martinez 25 dollars for the season pass, but I'm saving up for a trip in December, and a few other games coming out that are around 60 dollars. Basically doesn't fit my budget. Which sucks that game developers have to put items in the game, that are almost essential for Ng+ and lock them behind a pay wall.
@Angel Martinez damn, I wish I got the complete addition. I picked up the game from a garage sale for 5 dollars, I figured why not. Then I do research trying to find the best gear, and most of it is locked by DLC which sucks.
My latest new game+ playthrough I was heading towards lv100 by the time I made Toussaint again and had been using the sword the entire way and suddenly I'm getting another one, almost at it's full capacity too.

thumbs up if you got the sword without knowledge of the quest lol, I just happened to stumble upon the lake, and qualified as I had already done everything
Nice Monty Python reference my friend. For that alone, you gained my respect
I actually just stumbled across the Aerondight very early in the game when I was on level 4 Playing the quest wandering in the dark.... After you beat the first wild hunt guy with Kara Mets and search the laboratory. Turn around and make your way back through some caves ( using the eye she gave you ) and there it is… Totally missed it first time I played through.....
Bugged sword name
Really a great video! Nice work, Drew!
Amazing game on PS5, playing it now, greatful for the ps4 guides still available
Ami is extremely close with its 982-1200 base damage, 300% armor piercing quen, crit and stun bonuses. Plus it has three empty rune slots that you don’t have to pay for.
Adega Outlaw where do you get that?
What swords
Wouldn't really be extremely close though because of the stacking on the aerondight, effectively doubles the damage if you fight with quen and don't get hit, which isn't all that hard.
Then you go to the runewreight to put some enchantment on it that fits your playstyle, like lighting enemies on fire and other things.
I really enjoyed this video bruh. Great vid
May you please make more lore videos about witcher 3 please. Long or short videos, don't matter to me.
Love the monty python reference
LMAO, That Monty Python reference. I love you, Drew
I didn't know a video tutorial would be so emotional and wholesome.
Interestingly. though it's spelled differently in the game, Arondight is the sword of Lancelot, given to him by the Lady of the Lake.
I love this weapon, i like that its viable in ng+ unlike alot of weapons i got because it gives you levelled gear when you start ng+
so Geralt, who basically is a thieving, killing mercenary who wouldn't wipe his own arse without being paid, is the one person worthy of having this sword?
😂 factss
the sword does not rust in the Lake cause silver takes long time to oxidate and moreover silveroxide is protective of the rest of the blade once it has formes on the surface.
11:35 Na, I'd honestly put more stock in the farcical aquatic ceremony.
You didn't mention this was for the DLC expansion, god damn it
which one ????
@Angel Martinez I don't got money for that.
@@citizenvulpes4562 Buy the season pass on sale should be 10-15$ it really is worth it trust me
Never noticed the Don Quixote reference from the knight and windmill until now
i love that the video isn’t just “hey guys today i’ll be showing you where to find this sword”
At the end of blood and wine (good ending), IRIS is by far the most powerful steel sword with preservation.
My latest new game+ playthrough I was heading towards lv100 by the time I made Toussaint again and had been using the sword the entire way and suddenly I'm getting another one, almost at it's full capacity too.
The first place I go to in Toussant is to that Hermit's pond and activate the quest.
Then I win every event in the tournament.
Let the Shaelmar live and get the compassion virtue.
I killed the monster to spare he's life can i still get it?
@@TheGo4live Yeah, you can get the compassion virtue elsewhere.
